I drove a 20-hour round trip just to see this show in Murfreesboro because I had heard it was worth seeing and because SCV was on a title run. I’d do it again in a heartbeat, but with better snacks.
2:03 BEANS. BEANS. BEANS. BEANS. I love being in shows not only for the obvious but also because of comraderies like this. They're performers, but they're also people just having a good time. Love it.
they've been together, some a couple of years, but now 24/7 for the last couple of months, on buses, in gyms, and the love and bonds are undescribable if you've never felt it. i love the 'Not Yet!' 0:38. in ,'82, my age-out, it took a long time as we came out to our opening set and i was talking all the time and you're kind of not supposed to, ' . . professional drum corps, here we go, oh no, wait; .. okay, here we go' 🤣😁🎺🤘👍🏽
9:22 By far my favourite moment in DCI history. Seeing the horn snap from the high cam was epic enough, who knew it would look so much more badass in first person?
hey i’m trying out for DCI this upcoming 2021 season and I had a few questions if you could possibly take time to answer? I was wondering how the horn players including yourself kept their horn chops alive while playing the mellophone all the time? also how was it being on constant practice/tour for so long? i can imagine it being physically and emotionally taxing
Thanks for the perspectives I love the mellos in this show and it's great to hear your perspective. Got to be one of my favorite shows 👌also lets go basses damn they're freaking clean.
It’s a burp.. it’s basically a thing you stick your mouthpiece into practice buzzing with your horn still up and on the burp you can change the resistance level on it. That helps with your air a lot

I wish I was older back then so I could have gone and seen this show
Oooh wow.....
I think people would be impressed, if that was an impressive story.
@@Bucks311 Ya think maybe if I had better snacks?
This vid is SICK! Been watching all the possible head cams over the years, and this is by far the sickest head cam I've watched from this show 💥
