This looks a lot more fun than crawling over boulders and taking 4 hrs to go 1/4 mile. I like trails where you can take a bone stock 4WD , check out the scenery and not to worry about getting rescued. Different strokes!

Cool video. I have a 1972 Toyota Fj40 that has done a lot of 4x4ing in death valley. I inherited it in 2017 when my uncle died. Now it lives in Colorado. The past few years I've been afraid to take it out because i don't want to do anything to it to ruin the memories i have but I'm ready to take it on some trails. This one looks good to get the tires dirty and gain some experience with driving something like that. My uncle built it to go off roading so i aim to get it back out there

Thats too bad, you're right there at Left Hand Canyon rd with is a well maintained paved road that leads back to Boulder...close enough anyways. Even Gold Hill rd would have been nice, that will take you back to Gold Hill town and then either jog back over to Left Hand or take Sunshine Canyon into downtown Boulder. Anyhow, good info. I'm also a Texas transplant looking to get off road. I've driven up and down a lot of the main roads already. Seriously though, if you're going to live here, you should drive some of the scenic roads as well! Trail Ridge Rd and Old Fall Ridge rd comes to mind. These roads will blow your mind! Fall Ridge road is dirt but any car can navigate it while Trail Ridge is a paved road. Good video!
