Prey - Recycling the ENTIRE lobby with only 12 Recycle Charges

- I took every single object in this map and stacked it in a big ol' pile, then blew it all into usable pieces... because I felt like it.
From this I got ~60 mineral, 40 synthetic, 25 organic, and probably like 5 exotic material.
"Are you going to do more rooms?" Probably not, I like to just mess around in this game so far, check out some other dumb videos I've made on the game if you are interested, but ignore the rest of my channel, trust me. Игры
Legend say the mimics surrendered after that because they where not able to meme anymore.
😂
memec
Ending of the game:
Alex: so, how’d it do?
Operator: it spent like four hours cleaning out the lobby.
Alex: yeah I don’t think this is the one.
it can clean earth and accidentally kill all the typhon whilst doing it. It is the perfect one for the job
Maybe it's trying to build something in the fabrica- nevermind it just flatlined.
The game should have ended with the entirety of Talos being recycled and Transtar being like "Wtf happened to our station???!!
Just a giant fucking cube of Stardust Material
@@eduardogarcia9200 "How did this MASSIVE cube of stardust end up orbiting the moon??!"
Ah yes, who needs the Nullwave ending when you can have the Recycler Ending.
All they would see is a massive block of synthetic material
good source for neuromods eh
Such an awesome game, criminally overlooked
Agreed weird ending though after the credits 🤯
@@owenrandall8731 agree
Ending is amazing
@@owenrandall8731 I liked the ending, was good for me
Kopenich encounters some random stuff. "Wait a moment ... I recycled everything!" This moment the mimic knows, he fucked up. xD
Mimic in a empty room with nothing to hide as while Morgen yu is approaching: oh no this is a predicament
Enjoyed this way more than I expected to. 9/10
All video games should strive for this level of emergent gameplay.
It took me till the end of the game to realise you could throw grenades further by holding the trigger. Needless to say half my deaths were caused by me.
me too, buddy. Just finished the game. There's always mooncrash.
I only did one small area of the lobby and started to lose patience. I can't imagine doing this for FOUR HOURS! Holy crap.
It think this is easy, it would be harder trying to do this in space
You are what I aspire to be. A master janitor!
You need to play "Viscera Cleanup Detail" if you haven't already.
This is relevant to my interests. I should've done the lobby, the neuromod division took forever!
Robotosis WHY DIDN'T YOU RECORD IT NUUU
edit: YOu rAeCoarded it YEE
WOW, four hours. You really are the master of 'Recycle everything'! XD
super cool to see morgan finally freeing himself from his family and following his dreams of being a janitor
I remember trying to do this and it didn’t work but this… is a piece of art
It wouldve been cool if you somehow got some mimics to go into the pile
Mimicks hiding in the pile: Why do I hear boss music
You should get an achievement for this!
I laughed so hard when i saw the 4hours + the fucking pile xD
FPS drop aside, the fact that the game didn't crash is impressive.
SamuelTBrooks ye, it's surprising it runs a lot smoother than dishonored 2
Load time is hell tho
I know this is a long response but the FPS was amazingly stable, half the pile was constantly vibrating and rotating which was causing crazy stress on my CPU and GPU. You could see the result of a lot of that stuff vibrating through the floor into the lower level of the lobby when I looked down because it just got pushed through the floor lmao.
It crashes a lot on my xsx for less.
"talos is very dirty"
*breaks glass*
Wow, you have so many hours into Prey, I bet you have every achievement.
The hours:
HAHA i love this! Prey is such a great game and this made me laugh, cuz Ive done similar things but on a much smaller scale (aka, rooms)
Recycler charger: A typhon's worst nightmare
"skip to 0:58, your welcome" comment
Dude...the lead up is funny 🤣🤣🤣
Having played Prey sooooo many times and recycled the shit out of everything, you do this! Talos lobby was in need of some minimalism, so I appreciate the effort. :-D
The vibrant art deco furniture/ decor IS what made Talos I so beautiful.
@@LSK2K Oh absolutely! I was just messing. If only there was a Talos 2 to admire. 😁
@@myblueextremes1526 One day my friend, one day. Prey is one of the few games I actually enjoyed this year. I'm disappointed in myself for not checking out the game earlier.
@@LSK2KIt's a great game. Wildly under appreciated. Let's hope it's the Blade Runner of video games. A slow burn appreciation over time.
@@myblueextremes1526 Man, Blade runner, what a franchise. You and I share similar interests. You ever heard of a show called The Expanse?
0:09 Gotta admit - this cracked me up more than I want to admit!
Ahti from Control: Your hired
And he's the assistant now
This man is a genius.
"Very dirty", continues to break more glass
Damn, all those mats! Just started playing so I'm doing this when I get home.
This is why immersive Sims are the best
Okay, that was funny, you earned a sub.
Wow, it's so clean now thank you.
This is brilliant!
Im glad im not the only aut that hauled junk ages just to recycle it
This pile, youre insane ^^
Danm i have clean one big room today asking myself it was a great idea to get lot of mat. And now i feel on your vid hahaha
Haha, and i thought that i was some kind of master recycler when i spent 10 minutes to collect scrap! Holly shit what a pile of junk you got there :D
That 'beautiful' was everything
That looks like my house. Red light right there.
All that perfectly good furniture could have been donated to Habitat. 😆
You see junk, I see *ammo*
Specifically for hurling at enemies.
That said... I did do this in the main area of the Hardware place
You're my hero
This guy sure does remember the 3 R s
Can probably make 30 neuromods from that , which is still probably not enough
All hail our lord and saviour, master janitor Morgan Yu
Playing primarily with pistols, taking down every Nightmare, on top of playing the game with Nightmare difficulty drains ammo fast. I also abstained from using alien powers, so tossing recycling charges at piles of junk became necessary for survival if combat focus wasn’t an option.
EPIC DUDE
biggest mad lad in the history
Magnificent
The effort
Master Janitor. What must we do?😂😂
Impressive, indeed
equivalent exchange is pure nightmare fuel
so satisfying
You stood SO close to that recycler just after 1:55
When you role play as Mr. Clean:
Achievement- "Human Resources"
Recycle every human on and around Talos 1
"Master Janitor Morgan Yu" 💀💀💀
Every janitor’s dream
I just wanted to see how many materials it ended up being :(
Fucking amazing man.
I always wanted to do that
Who else would spend about 10 minutes throwing all the furniture into a small room like a bathroom and seeing how much you get with 1 grenade?
Yippeee, free exotic material!
Help if i throw a recycler bomb on a material. Will the material get recycled again or vanish? Help me
All this stuff recycled, but pile of materials is still small
Amazing
Easily one of the best games ever made. Name one other game you can do this in
Wanted to see the yield!
Genius
CPU is just getting recycled
Going green on Talos 😂
Perfect.
I enjoy this game.
I love your ide !!!
Holy Shit ! Its the loby im standing in thinkin Hmmm Id better check youtube about these recyclers XD !
Learn to spell and also of course your in the lobby it's the one of the first areas in the game you idiot
respect
Thanks very cool.
I thought about doing this before but it just didn’t seem worthwhile and also like i would have enough charges in any reality
Wait, you do this too? I thought I was the only one.
too cool
ahahaha this is the funniest shit omg. love it
Where can I buy these recycling devices for my house?
top 10 ways to improve fps by killing the fps
Ok so I have a quick question, how do you get a lot of resources, by the end of the game I can’t make anything…
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle. Also use wrench for everything that doesn’t fly, explode or isn’t the size of a house. Max neuromods should make equipment repair(if you have that enabled), healing and suit repair a non issue in terms of resource use. Killing operators and taking their organs is a simple way to get parts for bullets if you’re really low. If you aren’t using human neuromods(or neuromods in general) recycling every extra weapon you find gives tons of resources, but really the recycling charges are your best offensive and resource acquiring ally.
Shame it's not really worth it though, especially considering the time and effort.
There is some sort of limit to the amount of stuff a single recycler charge can suck in at the same time - so stacking it super tightly doesn't really help make it more effective - and the yield for most items is just not a whole lot. There's no intuitive way to know what items are good (except you might guess the elements contained), and size is no indicator, so you need to science it.
If you are going to environment-recycle it makes more sense to only do high-yield items to get the most bang for your buck. Explosive containers and dead operators (which can become quite abundant) are decent for this.
But considering you need so much metal to craft a new recycler charge it's hard to make any real "profit" doing this - and recycler charges can be so useful for lots of other things like removing obstacles, as high damage weapons, or even eeking out a tiny bit more exotic material from already salvaged alien corpses - so all in all it is debatable if it's worth your time. Unless you do it "right" (recycling the right things) it's definitely not.
BTW, yes I realize this was a fun video - not a protip science one. I enjoyed :D
All very true and valid points. If anyone takes the time to read this it's a great explanation of how to effectively use recyclers. Really though the most effective use of them is to use them on smaller enemies or to clear obstacles you don't have the ability to move currently, like TheStigma said here.
But yeah, I learned real quick the limitations and downsides to recyclers when tossing them into the pile lol. Still tons of fun and wouldn't ask for those 4 hours back.... maybe.
It is worth it, the amount of material I get is insane, which material is it to make recycler charges, synthetic, organic or mineral
When there is something in my way I just blast it with an alien power or take a chair and push it into the item that needs to be moved
Actually they use some kind of formula, where one variable causes the minerals become less if you try to recycly too much. I guess they've made it for obvious reasons. I've done some experimentations and it's just not worth it. In the end you only get 1.25, 1.03 or something like that. Waste of time.
Oh my Lord, LOLOL
Wow 😳
Damn
Still only gets about 10 mineral materials
Imagine how many materials you'd get out of this
Sadly he doesn't show how much....
“Pls dont sub to me” alright sir you just earned yourself a sub, CG mission failed successfully. See you in a few years when I finally decide to go clean up my subscriptions and have no idea who the F you are XD
Why can't we have these in real life?😂 Just throw these in trash cans or recycle bins and empty it and we have building blocks lol
Did you have infinite ammo after this?
Nah, I got like ~60 mineral, 40 synthetic, 25 organic, and probably like 5 exotic material.
thats enough to craft almost infinite ammo nice
mellamohonas 60 minerals is only 240 shotgun shells unfortunately.
I should try this on ps4
Eh might not crash the console.
You‘re crazy! But it’s ok cuz I‘m crazy too… 🤡
2:17 to bad im doing it any way
always bothered me how the character throws nades
Do you have OCD, by any chance haha jk.Thats a mass amount of junk. Never seen so much junk being recycled at once before.
I would probably do the same thing if I had the schematic to make recycler charges
XD
