Depends on the bird, my cockatiel will endlessly bite when grabbed and just in general hates it, meanwhile my green cheek calms right down, every bird is an individual and you got to treat them as such.

I trained my bird to stop Fighting the same way and it worked. For the people that says it makes your bird hate you. My bird still likes me and comes to me. He just knows not to bite anymore.

Generally this is a no no area for birds, and will break trust.
Conversely, its a very effective technique for birds that do trust you, and if handle them nicely overall, improves trust.
Same with small tarantulas. Or medium ones. Done it with my avicularia and she is a sweetheart

@@KopenichI've added years to my button quails life by not letting them anywhere near non-stick.... honestly I'd say just avoid it a bit...depends on how much longer you want your bird to live (towards end of life)

Imprisoning birds is animal cruelty. Get a dog or something Edit: whether you like it or not, birds require their natural habitats to lead fulfilling lives. Therefore to have a bird is to imprison it. It makes you a bad person. Maybe this makes you feel bad but it's the truth.

If it’s wild caught, I agree, but this bird (and most parrots hatched after importing wild parrots was banned) isn’t. I agree that 85% of people with companion birds/parrots absolutely shouldn’t have them, and that they shouldn’t be so easily accessible, however this bird is clearly in good hands. The bird would not be able to survive in the wild, as it is captive bred and has no idea how to survive. Thank you.

ITS BEEN YEARS and that blows my mind more than anyone watchin this lil clip but I'll say this: The Recycler is GARBAGE for recycling materials. It's very good at recycling enemies you don't want to fight into not-a-waste-of-your-resources and deleting obstacles you don't have other ways of moving. If you want materials, put stuff in the dedicated recycler instead. also i would never actually hurt any turrets in Prey, i remember that i RP'd that they were my sons and daughters and were keeping the station safe for me, i was merely joking when threatening my son lol

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle, Recycle. Also use wrench for everything that doesn’t fly, explode or isn’t the size of a house. Max neuromods should make equipment repair(if you have that enabled), healing and suit repair a non issue in terms of resource use. Killing operators and taking their organs is a simple way to get parts for bullets if you’re really low. If you aren’t using human neuromods(or neuromods in general) recycling every extra weapon you find gives tons of resources, but really the recycling charges are your best offensive and resource acquiring ally.
