This is just heartbreaking.
The mark of a great actor is to be able to play someone quite beautiful for part of a series, deteriorate slowly, then end up totally emaciated and wasted. How Anthony Andrews failed to receive the Best Actor award for this role, I'll never understand.
The scenes set in Morocco were the first in the serial to be filmed (in Malta).
Beauty dies a terrible death.
Heartbreaking stuff - & so wonderfully acted by all three.
This last scene in which Sebastian appears, is as emotionally powerful as anything I've ever seen on either film or telly.
Beats the crap out of Hollywood explosions & gun fights.

Something about a "moroccan" with Kurt's german accent, maybe? I cannot understand it neither.
It's alright for him, I reckon, maybe.

He was finally "needed" for him-self.
why cant charles just take him away from that awful man and look after him at home!
coz it was a conscious choice of Sebastian that kind of living. Most part of the times, you cannot save a person from his/her true self. That's the human life.
