I would have voted for Nick Buckley. I quite often vote for independent candidates these days, I find they are usually more concerned about local issues, the main parties seem more interested in blaming each other for the state of things, virtue signaling vanity projects and things happening in other countries than actually trying to solve the many local problems and issues.
