Hey what are these exact sub frame Connectors? Are they the absolute best and strongest that y'all sell? If so I want them, that's why I'm asking. I'm getting 4.10 Gears put in and I want the best I can get so??? Please answer!!!
Hey quick question for the areo hatchback will i be able to install and weld the upper & lower torque box reinforcement after installing subframe connectors or should i put the torque box reinforcements on before installing the subframe connectors...thanks
two post lift is not recommended but I could in theory lift it from the rear K member mount and the rear mounting points for the rear control arms? *cough cough* unofficially?
adamska2012 Yeah, I don't see how putting jackstands under the front control arms and rear axle is any different than a drive-on lift. It still has the full weight of the car on all 4 corners. Suspension wouldn't be hanging. Not level, but don't know if that really matters. I don't work in a shop anymore and I don't trust ANYONE else to do ANY work on ANY of my cars.
Just ran across this vid while researching lower control arm replacements. The 03 mach1 already has subframe connectors. Are these beefier. I haven't been under mine in a while and it sits pretty low. Just figured I would ask rather than go out in the rain, lay in the mud,and Jack the car up for a 3 minute investigation. Thanks
@Svt-Mustang lifestyle Thanks. Sorry, forgot about checking back because my son has had the car since I had asked the question an hadn't received a reply. Again, thanks. As stated before,The mach1 came with factory connectors but, not sure if they should be upgraded (if it would do any good over what it already has).

Hey man, try and see if it's the actual door mechanism on the hinge. They have a tendency to become loose and sag, causing the door to be hard to open. If that's not the case, then your frame has warped.
@@cartercu Thanks for confirming that. Based on your original comment, sounds like everything is correct. The front tabs are positioned on the outside. -Landan
While many of the products we sell may fit other vehicles, our expertise on the fitment and application of these parts & accessories ranges from 1979 to 2004 Mustangs. To best answer questions about fitment not related to these industry specifics, we would suggest personal research into social channels and/or other automotive communities for fitment confirmation.
They dont sag for no reason... You'll either find rust/rot in the floors, torque boxes, and front frame rails under the strut towers. Little ways to tell, but are not 100% gaurantees, are cracked windshields, cracking at the door pillar and windshield area, doors that are hard to open and close, excessive twisting and creaking when slowly driving over curbs, especially with the steering turned. Hope this helps!
@@foxfordcatguy2283 Yup, you know, like going into parking lots, or into your driveway... Not sure where you live, but most civilized places have curbs going from road asphalt, into another location. 😒
You guys should include end caps for the subframe connectors so when water and debris gets in there it keeps it from rusting from the inside out
weld in your own!
Im going to use the eastwood frame rail spray so i can coat the inside.
@@Megacatares not everyone wants to do that and it wouldn’t take them Much to do it from factory

Had trouble with these connectors had to cut and rebrand the connectors to make them work
Won’t use hollow subframe connectors . Maximum Motorsport

Sand the metal before you paint or it will just flake off.
Does this flimsy light weight tubing really stiffen it or is it a Rip off
Bob, these will honestly make a night and day difference on these chassis. I have personally run this same set on a few different cars.

, basically it will that help make the red torque boxes stronger so they don't flex as much
My understanding is that these are better for jacking also.
will that help reinforce the torque boxes

My doors are tough to open. Is it too late for subframe connectors on a stock 92 Fox?

What are the odds of the car blowing up attempting this on jackstands in a driveway lol.
100%, 😆
Is there any way to tell if your frame is sagging before installing the subframes?
You could take it to a frame alignment shop to verify. -Landan

splash Yeah, around here curbs have "breaks" or "aprons" at driveways, parking lots, etc. so you don't have to drive over an 8 inch (or higher) curb.
please stop painting metal with out priming the metal first then painting it
I used Westwood weldable primer, works Great
No end caps made it look cheap
Will this fit a foxbody
These will, yes!
