I want to Thankyou for the podcast, which I listen and relisten to every night when my anxiety is bad before I sleep as I suffer from night terrors and chronic pain. I cannot tell you what solace and peace it brings me. I’m so grateful 💛🐝
Wow! Really Bee 🐝 , I had no idea anyone listened to it. That inspires me to record more. Thank you so much for your lovely encouragement. It’s exactly the reason I started the podcast, to provide a safe haven. Thank you I will dust off the microphone 🎙️ 💕🌷
@@TheTreasuredPage I would LOVE it if you did. But I’m so grateful for the episodes you did record. That soothing voice and all that positive love and energy you impart. You’ve been with me at some of my hardest times. Like Mother’s Day, as I lost my mum unexpectedly when I was in my thirties, just 2 years ago. Thankyou, you know not what your generosity has given 💛🐝💌
When I was a kid in grade school I was very fidgety and I would crumble up my notebook paper and knead it for a good long while. I liked the way it felt like fabric so this became a regular habit of mine. I would have never guessed this is actually a thing.
Yes exactly I did the same. Coping mechanism during math class. Who knew the Japanese had been making clothes out of it for centuries! It was traditionally made with a starch mixture. Fun to reconnect with a familiar texture 😉🦋
New subbie here from USA. Recently completed chemotherapy for cancer and am now in remission. Glad I found your channel, as I am eager to get back to junk journaling. BTW, the small heart you received is called unakite, a fun semiprecious stone. TFS. Luv, Gladys Ward 🌺🪻🌼
Hello Melanie. My name is Sandra and I’ve just come across your channel. I subscribed immediately. Look forward to discovering through your channel and listening to your very soothing voice. God bless you in every way, and thank you so much for keeping me company while I recover.
Welcome aboard Sandra, so pleased you found the channel. I hope you enjoy the videos here. I try and put everything in useful playlists for you to go back and watch in order. Then you can catch up on projects and the free tutorials that might interest you. Absorb the ideas and get involved at your own pace. Happy Healing ❤️🩹🌷🦋
Originally all for you Jane, but it turned out so nice I decided to keep it 🤭 Hope you have fun making one, it’s a really fun process. Thank you for watching and for your fun comments 🤩🦋
Beautiful pouch Mel . Can’t believe you’ve started on the signature already I really need to get my finger out and make my Autumn and winter journal from last years swaps before I even think about this years . What a great swap from Kristin . TFS xxxx
Yes new tactics, I’m crafting as I go to avoid a storage issue and overwhelm. i’m using the signature book like a Junk Journal July project and making pages for my own personal fun creative journalling from what I receive in the moment. My Autumn/winter build a journal needs making too but this involves getting everything out on the dining room table, taking over the whole room/ house just to sort through all the wonderful stuff…actually that sounds like an amazing way to spend an afternoon/fortnight. I’ll ask Maggie to schedule that in 🐱xx
@@TheTreasuredPage and don’t forget to get Maggie to make an appearance love seeing her . I know what you mean about getting everything out . I need to make another home for it all as the box I made is far to small and I’ve lost my journal making mojo so far this year I’m ok if I’m just making ephemera. I’m following Claire at the moment making a small laptop journal hoping it will give me a good kick start . Happy crafting xxxxx
Great question. I don’t use oil because I find there’s no need! Traditionally the technique was made using a type of starch paste. We can recreate the method with basic glue pastes. As most natural oils can go rancid with age, I try to avoid food products that could create unpleasant smells in the future. Scented oils can be fun to try but be prepared for odd smells a year later. Hope that helps.🤩🦋
Awesome video, THANK YOU! Also wanted to tell you that your Etsy shop link has a mistake... it adds the word "youtube" after the otherwise correct link, so you get "page not found" message.
ko-fi.com/thetreasuredpage I’ve attached my shop link here, to Ko Fi I hope this helps. I don’t have an Etsy shop. Thanks for the feedback and kind comment. 🤩🦋
Hi, Melanie! I just discovered your channel through this video and I am already loving it! I just subscribed and look forward to your other creations. Warm regards front Costa Rica.
Hello🤗...I'm from philippines🥰 Im your new subscriber. I enjoy watching your video and made some of what you did. I'm always looking forward for new ideas your making... Thank you for the inspirations🥰... More blessings to you...
Yes you can, and to seal it at the end. Add a couple teaspoons of water to a big squirt of glue, it helps to avoid a ‘drag’ across delicate papers and helps it to soak in to the fibres PVA glue is traditionally more runny and can be bought from hardware or DIY construction stores in bulk, making it more cost-effective and a great versatile glue option. 🦋
You don’t have to use the things you have been sent, it’s just what I’m doing to manage the items set to me. If you like the idea.. then take the items from the purse and focus only on the things you have in front of you. What can you do with those scraps. How can you alter them or add to them to turn make them into something you like. 🌷🦋
Full tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/46bTXqeRB9k/видео.htmlsi=UamRXMCneEYYsjUx glue tissue paper to a thin packaging paper then, if it’s not too wet, glue the inside paper or map paper to the other side of the packaging paper and let everything dry naturally. I scrunch it up when completely dry and use a spray of water as needed.
Yes we do Judie, would you like me to add you into the next round? sign up will be in May and will run for 3 months making TN notebook signatures in the same way as shown in today’s video. I will email you a reminder nearer the time and see if you are available 🌷🦋

This turned out amazing! I love the goodies Kirsten sent you! Can hardly wait to see what you do those!
Thanks so much Terry 😊
I am wondering if you have tried this with magazine pages.
Can you use mod podge as the glue?
Brand new subbie 😊❤

32:59 if you spritzed it while turning, would it be easier?
Yes as long as it remains damp. If it gets too wet it will tear. Thanks for watching 🦋

Do you let one side dry before putting the back side on? I tried and failed 😢
