- After the massive floods we've had here in Australia recently, I went digging for gold in some popular areas known for gold.
after finding some fine gold and a old water pipe washed down from the recent flooding, I then moved down to a exposed bedrock outcroping and tried my luck at some gold crevicing and metal detecting before moving to Adelong Creek were i found a baby turtle struggling in the water's current and begged me for help.

Some people do not realize that the Seasons are reversed in the Southern Hemisphere compared to the Northern.
When you have tiny gold instead of washing it out, leave it in the pan and let it accumulate. You would know what you had so you would know if you hit a good spot

Yeah mate, iv got old miners junk like glass, rusted pick heads, rusted rabbit traps, pieces of fine china, and the list goes on.
I’m a detailed joiner by trade and have always wanted a epoxy resin coffee table with a historical perspective of the gold rush days in Adelong.
I will do a video about it one day but I need to continue stockpiling the junk so I have enough to complete the table in one go.

It’s bull crap laws that make it hard. High bankers are banned in Victoria unless your in a state forest or private property, sounds all fun and dandy until you find out that Victoria doesn’t have designated fossicking areas located in state forests.. they don’t tell us that your only allowed to fossick in designated area or it’s illegal.
