- The new Sony A9III camera can literally see into the past, up to one second at a time. The enormous processing power and RAM inside the body allows the camera to see into the past for up to one second in 1/10th second increments. I explain how this feature is advantageous and how to set up Pre-capture in the menus on the Sony A9III.

Anxiously waiting for A1 FW2.02 :)
Wonderful to listen to you.
I am very happy with what you said.
It is not romanticized but real.
Thank you PMR! Got camera yesterday shooting my regular clay pigeon shooting tomorrow. I want to get shot coming from the gun barrels. I am more interested in how to select and save specific images in camera while deleting the rest. Lets say after each burst. Thanks for your great tips.
double tap to delete is your friend!
Ahhh…good info…I did not know you can’t use both pre capture and anti Flickr at same time..thx
you bet!
Great work Patrick just set my A9III to .5 sec pre capture, but may go back to .3 . 6 thousand photos in 3 hours last time out . I must get photo mechanic installed what do you use to cull your images ?
Thanks for sharing. I use photo mechanic like most sports shooters. What is different since Sony made the A9/A93/A1, is that I don't look at just one photo at a time. I look at 9 at a time and only lock/tag the images I want to keep. This speeds up the editing process massively.
You suggested (verbally) using 0.2 seconds for pre-capture but the video was showing a setting of 0.02 seconds. What is the correct recommendation?
.02, my bad :)
@@PMRTV Many thanks. Excellent information.
