Thanks for watching! Love to hear your thoughts on S24 Ultra so drop me a comment 📲
Please say more positive things and be different from bias RUclipsrs. SPend more time on areas where the product shines. Appreciate what companies like samsung is doing realizing that some technology are still in their infant start but will get better over time. Get to know the device very well before mk a verdic. Remember, samsung offers so much more than others, yet they don't get the credit nor the support they deserve.
Thanks for replying to me I really appreciate it and I wish you all the best in all you do.
@@richielovy5254 thank you for your feedback!
@LexySavvides you welcome my friend
I love your review. It was so realistic.
@@luishilariotv thank you for watching!
Just switched from iPhone 15 pro to S24 Ultra. Super pleased. The camera is insane.
U will love it trust me and l got S24Ultra too but been a Samsung fun from day 1
I also finally got my S24 Ultra.. I was in a dilemma for weeks on whether to get S24 or Iphone 15 pro max. Glad I went with the S24..
I’m wanting to leave iPhone too I was thinking s24 ultra or z fold 5 but don’t like how large & long they are 😭
Welcome to the band.
Went from iPhone 12 to S24U and, to be honest, I love this phone so far. The screen, battery, and cameras are the factors that made me decide to switch.
my mom has the s23 ultra and I have the s24. the screens are different, the camera output is much better than the older one. but one thing I like is when I go outside and I live in a tropical country and the screen of the s24u is soo bright I can see it! it's amazing when you live in a very sunny place and you're outside. I hope they come out with camera update soon for the s24u.
The cameras are massively improved over last years. They removed the over saturated colors and over sharpening to give a more natural look. Sure to a random person they may think thats worse but in reality thats an extreme improvement. Samsung is finally making their cameras much better
Why do people continue to doubt Samsung phones? They are light years ahead of anything else.
Except battery life.
@@krisk3363in battery tests iphone 15 pro max vs s24 ultra, both have a very similar duration, sometimes the s24u wins and sometimes the 15pm wins, but considering that the s24u has a larger screen with higher resolution, and you still have to power the s pen, the s24u's battery is better than any iphone ever made.
@krisk3363 Nope even this is top notch on the S24 Ultra.

.. google iPhone battery... I'll informed
I use Samsung wallet mainly because my passwords are stored there too along with auto fill and biometrics. Samsung quick share is highly underrated.
Ohh I never thought to use it for passwords, but that’s a good call. I use a different password manager
@@LexySavvides yeah all that stuff is built into the Samsung wallet now. Digital cards credit cards auto fill biometrics and passwords.
I don't use Samsung wallet for anything but do you Google Pay for some of my online shopping. I still refuse to use the tap to pay feature on my phone. I use it on my credit cards but just haven't pulled the plug on doing it on my phone. 😂Also Google Passwords are a life saver.
@@ChadH2023 i use samsung pass

Sticking with my S23 Ultra because of the 10x zoom. I make quite a lot of use of it.
I wish they kept the 10x AND add the 5x..5 câmeras would not be that unacceptable, would it be?
Lol ok
3x 200mp camera will solve all problems till 10x ....and then they can have a 200mp 10x optical that will take it to another level ...they have the tech for this ...they don't have to change the periscope tech only the sensor resolution...but they will wait till competition does that and then they will do it ....
Good for you but many maintain that S24 Ultra takes better 10x photos
Wait what, the s24U doesn't have 10x zoom??? WTF
Watching this on the S23 Ultra 😊
Rich dude 😮
Same ✌️🫶
Same here
And crying 😢
I'm reading the comments on my S24 Ultra. 😊❤
Phone of the year!
I came from the s22 Ultra too! Love this phone!
Same here.
CNET never thinks everything right about Samsung the first time.
I love the anti reflective screen especially when using it under direct sun, and the circle to search feature is really convenient for daily use
I'm watching this on my s24 ultra, and I love this thing.
Sold my 15 pro and apple watch ultra 2 and bought me a s24 ultra no regrets wutsoever no more apple ❤
I couldn’t do it. I used it for 3 days. Nice phone but I am an Apple guy I guess. Taking it back to Verizon in the morning
@@konceited704 hey u like wut u like no harm in that everyone has a preference
I upgraded from an S22 and the biggest improvement for me was the cameras. I attend a couple of live events every year and with the S22 the performers were just a light blob against a dark background. This phone does a much better job! And yes, the screen to me is amazing! Not to mention the speed of everything. I am very pleased. And I actually got a better deal from Samsung on this phone than I would have gotten on an S23 ultra because they gave me an extra $200 for my old S22 AND gave me a free upgrade to 512 gigs.
Phone is very powerful and a multitasking monster. I still use my iPhone 15 Pro, but not as much as the S24 Ultra. The screen was great; I didn't even adjust it after the update. I use the pitaka mag ez some protection keeps it slim
Them removing MFT and the SD card were the worse things they could've done imo. The MFT alone was a game changer.
You mean MST right? It was such a cool and unique gesture but I think payment regulations played a role in removing it
@electrology yes thank you MST.
@electrology At least in the U.S., that seems to be the case as many stores and banks want to get rid of it.
I understand why Samsung removed MST as that feature is almost dead in the U.S. However, the lack of a microSD card slot is really dissapointing. Since Samsung is working on a faster microSD card, they better bring this feature back with the S25 series.
@smartphonefan5226 yes it is and why do garbage pretend A series get it??? In certain places especially where there isn't a signal, one can't use the cloud...and cloud services are getting pretty expensive and can go out of business!!Desperately need SD Card
The usefulness of Samsung MST probably depends on which country you're in. I haven't swiped a payment card with a magnetic strip in over 15 years. The last time I swiped a card was with a loyalty/store card but now these have also moved to digital QR/barcodes or NFC based cards.
Although Samsung MST is relatively newer tech, the magstripe/swipe card readers that it communicates with at payment terminals/checkouts is very old tech (introduced in 1970s). Hence it has been replaced with newer tech like chip & pin and NFC in many countries. This year in Europe some payment card companies will begin removing the magnetic strip from their cards.
MST might have had a longer life if Samsung made the technology non-proprietary and allowed other phone manufacturers to use it.
Yes very true. In the US when Samsung removed it, was a big deal. Three years later NFC technology has finally become almost ubiquitous, but credit cards with magnetic strip are still very common and not all terminals will do chip readers either. I’m still grumpy about it 😜
Very helpful review. Thanks
5:04 agree 100%
Circle to Search translation is my most used feature so far - translation was never easier - no more bixby vision, foto taking and then analysing - just pretend on making a foto and circle
Summer is starting in the northern hemisphere . Nice😊
Sent from the southern hemisphere. 😢
Watching from s24. I love my phone!
i absolutely agree with you about MST! Im not totally over their removal of this feature
Super excellent explained and all❤
Good review, you pointed out good things I don't think of. Is true I used Samsung pay a lot at one point because of the MFT. Unfortunately they got rid of the MFT along with SD card. Still good phone over all.
I agree. I love my Samsung s24 Ultra of 1 tb.
This is the best phone ever, i have all the phones, nothing compares, makes the iPhone 15 pro max look like it's about 3 years behind
Lack of the 10x optical zoom will likely have me hold off to see if next year's model has it as I use it regularly.
If you really need to see that far and take a "clear" picture that far away...you should just get closer.
Why are people obsessed with super zooms in a smartphone 🙄 just get a basic mirrorless camera and a long focal lens! It will be cheaper than these flagships for sure and produce far better quality images
nice to have but how often do you or anyone use the 10 x zoom
@@ShriramRajar thank you
@@ShriramRajar you have no idea what you're talking about. I'm a photographer. 10x in a small form factor is incredibly useful. It's the equivalent of a 230mm lens. Have you seen the size of a 200+mm lens. Not fitting in my pocket any time soon, so not going to be with me all the time.
S24 plus here. Great phone.
I've been using it for months now. I like how the black titanium body is not easily scratched. The AI features make a lot of things easier-so easy to copy any text/number from anything even picture by using the circle to search. The built-in photo editor is very handy and practical...far ahead compared to that of the iPhone (I own an iPhone 15 Pro Max). The bigger, bright, squarish display is brilliant. I always avoid using my iPhone to watch Netflix and such because the curved display makes the experience less enjoyable, unlike the S24 Ultra's. Just my personal experience with it.
I strongly disagree about ditching the 3x optical zoomlens for a 5x. The main camera is always a wide angle lens these days, and it just warps proportions. When taking pictures of an object I generally use the 3x, because that is more true to what the real life object really looks like. So instead, I hope that Samsung will give us a better (say 50 Megapixel) 3x optical zoomlens instead of messing with the zoom levels.
I get the remark about the camera not being an interesting talking point anymore, but I noticed a huge jump in picture quality this year compared to the S23 Ultra last year. Much less oversharpening, much more true to life and yet more impressive colors, I don't know why it's so much better but it really is.
As for AI features, "Circle to search" is absolutely brilliant and has helped me out on a number of occasions. Amazed how well it works. What I use the most though, is the summarising feature for websites. Saves me loads of time on long articles!
Oh, and about the screen: everything you say about it is true. The anti-reflecting properties are fantastic, the fact that it isn't curved anymore is great, but also: all the bezels are the same, there's no more "chin". It's really much better to look at and much more easthetically pleasing, haha.
She actually said that she would've rather preferred that they used the 3x lens to zoom in to 5x, instead of getting rid of the 10x and using the 5x to zoom in to 10x. I agree with her, they could've used the 3x lens to get to 5x which is less digital zoom than using a 5x lens to get to 10x.
Best review is right on. The biggest deal about this Samsung Galaxy s24 ultra is entirely the flat screen and the anti-reflective screen coating! What a game changer! Unfortunately, there aren't any screen protectors that match that same type of anti-glare. Even the Samsung branded one isn't as good as the coating that is built into the screen.
She said " Samsung s24 ultra is better than I first thought" but when you watch the whole video. She left no room for any appreciation 90% of the video is criticizing the s24 ultra lol.
1 Week with my S24U and absolutely love it! I've always been a loyal Note user and have missed the practicality + S pen after 3 years with my S21 Ultra (which in its own right was a great phone)
Getting mine next week I can’t wait
Hi..Any links for both Cases you showed ?.TIA
Linked in description!
I must be Blind..Thnx
Will the anti-glare work even if i use a screen protector?
Glade to see a review from you it's been a while but how come I haven't seen a foldable review
Working on it :)
@@LexySavvides keep up the great work 💯

Watching this on my S24 Ultra
Hello dear...i have an s23 and i like it, even though i dont use near as much as it can do. Cuz im older. But im glad to see you as a Samsung fan not i phone like most young people
The 10x optical zoom only works well in good light.
Love your handwriting ❤
This phone beats the year
The best entertainment smartphone available on Planet. Enjoying my monster Galaxy S24 Ultra. Always Samsung and Snapdragon.
Miss Samsung NFC in in the middle of the device not like iPhone that's on the top back.
Place it well if you wanna use it.
How much SR
From my own experience with both phone it seems like the 15 PM has better battery life than the S24 Ultra.
I have the S23 Ultra and love using the AI photo edit features as I like to find out what it would do, yes it doesn't get it right first time but with more AI learning it will get better. Only thing I wouldn't really use is live translate as I don't travel out of the UK but handy to know it's there
Link to purchase the case?
In description!
I'm very happy with my 512g S24 Ultra. I put the Tan Leather Kickstand WTCase on mine & what a beautiful look.
The display isn't as bright as my S22 Ultra was. I guess it's the dark, basically Privacy Display that came with the 24 Ultra. I can still see it here on a sunny day in SE Texas & it's a power house.
Don't like the keypad, takes getting used too. It's a bit higher than on other Samsung's in the past. Don't use AI.
Is adaptive brightness on, under direct sunlight it is necessary to give highest possible brightness. I'm pretty sure it is much brighter than 22U.
but when using manual brightness slider it is not as bright as s22 or s23
I owned the S22 Ultra and now I have the S24 Ultra, you have change some settings...😊
Yep
😍 Waiting ❤️ for 🔥 25 ultra 😍❤️🔥😱✨💖😻🤩
My text translate wont work. It says unsupported language when i try to convert English to Spanish
One big difference I noticed accidentally - despite having read Samsung's claim S24 improves upon S23 night photography - didn't know how big a difference it is until I tried.
Especially on long end (Tele zoom) and auth virtually very little light/at dark night, I was able to get pretty clean, sharp, stable images that I couldn't at all get it off S23.
If you got S24 Ultra, definitely give it a try. Handheld, tele zoom, night time Louboutin was AMAZINGLY BRUT AND SHARP.
Wish i could have the newest Samsung. I had to downgrade to a pixel 7a since I'm on a budget 😕 i do however like my pixel 7a currently
My problems
Display color banding
Display grain if you really look closely
Avg camera (S23 ultra was better)
Heats lil more than s23 ultra
Really missout rounded display for immersive feel
Higher price
I prefer the flat screen, and I think the camera is better on the S24. Battery is also better and I don't notice any issues with colour banding
?Is the camera really better on last years s23 ultra
I went years without a screen protector on my S10 and didn't get any scratches. Made it a month with S24U before it scratched.
5:04 did anyone noticed the zoom effect when she goes from 0.6 to 5x zoom?
Can someone comment about how long Samsung supports its phones? I had an S2 and it was essentially obsolete a month after getting it as they wouldn’t keep the OS updated and android apps wouldn’t support the previous generation of OS. So just wondering if things have gotten better. I have an old iOS phone and it gets updates and apps for years.
I also had an s2 but I don't remember the device being obsolete a month after, about the s24 lineup it'll get 7 years of OS and security updates, after that time you can continue to use the device or do whatever you like with it.
They support 7 years of major OS updates,
which is the highest even apple does not support more than 5-6 years of OS updates
@@alexdaraujo At the time, AT&T put the blame on Samsung, and Samsung put the blame on AT&T. Sounds like things are better now. I use Google for many things, so Android would probably be better for me.
0:49. I know why Samsung waited so long to bring this gorilla armor screen, but what I don't know is why they didn't bring it on the S24 Ultra sibling
Facts 10x optical zoom is better than 3x zoom ❤
50 Megapixels sensor with5x optical and 2x Crop zoom to multiply is not worse than 10 Mp sensor with 10x , people just have to wipe dust from camera
Lot of issues like ( Screen quality - Green line, camera quality & heat issues ) .. do you have any such issues
the shadow eraser and object eraser are pretty old I have it on my 5 year old note 10 running android 12
I'm Monte! Dog has quite a cool name i must say
finally someone said it the zoom downgrage wasmt necessary
The screen details were announced months ago when the phone came out. Maybe they’re just emphasizing it more now?
The video outlining the construction etc only came out at the start of April but yeah - definitely emphasizing more now I agree
the ultra is awesome
The jumping effect when you change camara was key to NOT buy it
Samsung should have put a 50Mpix 3x zoom to cover the 5x range, and then also put a 50Mpix 10x to also cover the 20x range. While they're at it, put a 50Mpix on the 0.6x, and put them all horizontal across the top of the phone like a pixel so the phone sits evenly and doesn't rock on a table. That's what they need for the S25!
S7 still works for me. 🤷🏻♂️
Circle to search is quite useful, Pixel 6 Pro over here.
Still love my s23u. I can't see me going to a s24u just for a little less glare...
Watching on s22 ultra I upgrading to s25 ultra next year you are beautiful though
Hi
I am also using S24 Ultra
Check it's Display in Sunlight and How much time it's good visible in Sunlight ???
I have an s23 ultra and my camera is terrible. I really hope they done a better job on s24 ultra..
I upgraded from the S22 to the S24, no regrets. I also switched to Google Wallet because Samsung dropped MST (which I also loved).
What do people use 10x zoom for?
It's amazing at concerts and gigs for a start.
Pets, birds and concerts. Sometimes far away signs in the street
My cameras are actually always covered for privacy...🥰
Zooming of course
There is a very annoying bug in this pho ne rn. if you use gesture for navigation, swipe up to exit the app and then quickly swipe up and hold to open task manager, it glitches. It is very annoying. Other than that i got no problems with this phone.
I use a screen protector and it completely takes away the benefit of the non reflective screen. I'm not risking scratches tho
Samsung make an anti reflective screen protector.
@@willbuschmann I've read the reviews and it's apparently terrible
S24 Ultra Sunlight Display Issue is there, Have you faced it ???

The 5 times camera is a much higher resolution. Samsung Pay is better than Google Pay...
No microSD card again makes it a skip for me. Sticking with my S20 for another year
Almost all Flagships don't have micro SD, you will keep skipping
Tbh I went from note20 ultra to S23 ultra with 1tb storage and it's plenty trust. I don't even notice the SD card is gone anymore
@@nigels6786I also Samsung type c flash drive
If micro sd is ur main priority.. Then U will never buy a flagship again mate😅
Get a Sony phone, they like suckers who care about SD cards and headphone jacks. Make sure you pay your $1500 for a 2 year supported phone.
S24U is really useful, but the camera is not that great.
S24U is a top of the line flagship, but not its camera setup though.
Way behind a lot of Chinese phones in terms of overall camera performance.
I guess without android os?! 👎
WTF? they got rid of mst? I still have a s20 fe and was hoping to upgrade, but not without mst. Why? Does that mean I have to shop at places that have a samsung wallet terminal? I've never seen places that I shop at with samsung anything.
Samsung wallet should work with any NFC enabled terminal (tab to pay). When you see Google pay or Apple pay, it should work for Samsung.
@@yky1628 I like using my phone on ANY card terminal. Which is why I love mst. Not specific nfc Google or Apple pay
I use the AI photo editing suite all the time.
The best thing about this review is her accent.
Couldn't just compare the battery to your old s22 ultra?
As an s24u I am bit appaled but the overall development cycle of the phone. Like the camera software is really half baked and this will continue till eoy and we will just move on
I wish they kept MST 😬
100% agree on Samsung Pay 😭
Omg, Samsung won't stop paying I see ...
Watching this on S24U 😂
You can count on CNET to make the most negative positive video about a Samusng device. She couldn't even bring herself to call the S24's screen the best screen on any of the current flagship devices. I guess that's just a bridge too far for CNET 🙅🏿♂️
But… I did? It’s my favorite.
Only reasons I'd never buy it are, no curved screen and the AI esp when they start to charge for it.
Paying for cloud compute makes sense. You already pay for cloud storage. Same same
I have the s23ultra
Samsung authorised service center when I took the phone for small software reinstallation issue they told mother board problem
Rs 9000 which I solved just for Rs 600 samsung 💯 my trust 💯 they have cheated me.
I can't believe that RUclips actually recommended to me a video of an Australian or New Zealander instead of a video from India. What a good shock !! Oh never mind. It's a CNET video which is considered American. I got excited for two seconds.
