I have loved following along with your build GT and have loved every minute. That $12,000 wasn’t hard to spend and the crazy prices old Commodore parts sell for now, you probably did that cheap. Look forward to more vids. 👍👍

How am I only just seeing this now? Seriously, great viewing. The tan vinyl trim gives me flashbacks to the family VC back in the 80s. Loved seeing the DIY stuff, and learned a lot watching your progress along the way. Well done 👍

Had a manual 6 cyl VB Commodore back in the day and loved it. Unfortunately, she is gone now I traded it for a microphone. But I still drive a stick to this day.
In my country it's call Holden commodore,and very luxury cars when new
Bombodore is its nickname

There were sle commodores n wb statesmans that had factory fridge gloveboxes be unreal if you could find one n put it in your car they run of the air conditioner pipes some how a wrecker somewhere should have a car with one in it

Hey man did she have any rust at all around the windows? Inspired by this car and your adventures i just bought a VB myself, it has a couole spots of rust in the parcel tray but so far i cant see anything else but i am very scared and anxious to see what i find once the screens come out....
Hi sorry for late reply, just a few tiny holes under the screen rubbers. Amazing! Luckily Rare Spares can provide rust repairs for 'under' the screens

I still havent bothered pullihg screens, i have been too busy driving the thing around everywhere aha, i did mqnage to track down the fella who owned it before the guy i bought it off and it was painted in 1999 so i am thinking if it hasn't started showing its head by now its probably hallf ok
