  • This video uses our Roland VG2-640 for the print and cut work and our Rollover flatbed application table for laminating BUT whatever your Roland machine, this will show you the process and take you through the steps and settings in VersaWorks as well as on your machine.

Your videos help a lot, good job!
I have a question, on the Roland VG3-540 is it possible to reduce the vinyl advance speed when the machine is reading the cut marks? as the machine is very quick to read and sometimes jams the material.

Hi, thanks very much, glad you’re finding the content useful. I’m afraid you can’t adjust that speed. It may be worth making sure you leave some extra material at the front of the job to prevent it catching on the cover or lifting when feeding when it’s reading the crop marks

I used to have a job where I used one of these every day. If I had $45k sitting around I would totally buy one.

You’d be surprised at the cost of entry to wide format print these days then. A brand new 20” machine is available from around £5,000 and for under £10,000 you can easily find a good condition second user 54 or even 64” print and cut machine too.

@@keithbernard9461 hi, if you are based in the UK I’d suggest speaking to your local Roland dealer, a lot of them will have some great offers on ex demo machines but many also have second user machines from part exchanges too.
