This looks great (as always!) - Have you considered perhaps creating a village / rural small town up in the mountains? You could have a train going up with tunnels + roads going through the mountains. This would be a great addition in my opinion as you would be able to use all the new smaller service buildings that came with the detailers patch.
I think my next build is going to be a farmland/agricultural one, to shore up the supply chain, and I think having a small rural town as part of that would totally make sense!
Yep there are hills inland that a) have lots of natural resources, b) blow pollution away from the city, and c) just look kind of pretty, like the foothills to the mountains beyond. I was thinking in there. Did you have another point on the map in mind?
Love the abandoned elements makes it feel historical. There is a lot of green in between the new zoned industry and was wondering if you were to make small spots of surfaces(river bed/rocky grass) scattered in the gaps paired with some small clusters of bushes that it would look more unkempt.
With better bulldozer the (box and atom looking mode) "Remove moving objects such as vehicles and CIMS." should be able to remove them. While in this mode you can toggle between single and a radius. I only found the radius mode to really work. The issue is in Findi It! we end up grabbing the moving vehicle version of vehicles and not the prop versions. You can see the props in Find It by looking in the props menu and then under Miscellaneous Props menu (Table and Chairs Icon) or in the Roads menu under the car icon menu. Good job nonetheless! Keep it up!
I'm not through the vid yet, maybe you do it later in the episode but a little foot connection from the tram stop to the road above the highschool (where you place the parking lot at 24:56) would make a lot of sense and promote tram usage. Otherwise great episode so far :)
The abandoned train track might serve as a potential connection to the rail depot. Really enjoying this series keep up the good work! When drawing the street if you draw it until a cross appears that sign that zonning is connected.
I just discovered your channel and I already watched all the episodes. Love your style of building. Also you had that one french viewer. I’m German and at least I write in English. Gotta remember: Germany>France😉
@@skilzthatkilz11 Go to Munich. It’s the best city. And pls don’t go to Berlin. It might sound interesting but it’s not that nice in contrast to other cities. Especially Neukölln (district within Berlin) The best cities in my opinion are Munich and Hamburg. But it’s probably easier for you to come to Munich, bc of the larger airport
Really cool build! If you want some constructive criticism: 1. Many areas still look too "clean" to be realistic. Add some dirty/complex surfaces, decals, trash, etc. 2. These parks look too designed and manicured for an ordinary town. I guess those are the available options for now.
Hey do you know if when you download Cities: Skylines II if you have to download the software you had to download to play skylines 1? or did they remove it?
Oh yikes yes I need to update my mods list. For this build though, the stars of the show were all the Extra 3.0 mods by Triton Supreme and Sully, plus Sully's Stain and Graffiti decals, Extra Surface Extension, and then Anarchy, Move It, and the Line Tool. But I'll get a complete list on my community page soon, thanks for the reminder!
@@skilzthatkilz11 nah I just pay too much attention to graffiti IRL and I notice the little nuances that CS players don't. I'm not a detailer but it frustrates me seeing detailers rotate pieces or put them on roofs because these things wouldn't really happen that often IRL. The assets themselves are also a bit lackluster but its CS2 and there aren't a lotta mods out so I get it.
@@skilzthatkilz11 Yea to elaborate you would wanna consider like the mind of a writer. People don't put stuff up if nobody is going to see it. Hence why you dont typically see stuff on the roof itself, since no one will ever see it. Anything near a major transit corridor will be covered in graff as well--think the Northeast Corridor, especially the sections within Philly and close to NYC within New Jersey. The rotating thing is mainly just a matter of feasibility of putting the piece up--like, you wouldnt want to get halfway finished with the piece and then need to grab a stool to finish it because you wanted to put the other end of your lettering up a few feet than the rest. Ofc do rotate it if its along a stairwell or something. Also generally avoid pieces overlapping--there's a respect element to it and people will not cover up someone else's piece unless the other work is decidedly of lower quality or if they're beefing. There's more stuff I could get into but that's kinda reliant on better variety of assets.

@@skilzthatkilz11 No that sounds great, I trust your picks! Looking forward to the episode 🙌
you could call it La Granja Vieja

Yes totally agree, good idea! The hedge park also has too much open green, perhaps I can add some unkempt paths and bushes there too ...

Oh hmmm okay interesting, I'll have to try the radius option, thanks for the tip!
This is one of the best city’s in this game I know simply because many parts have a history and a story in this city

Oh nice yeah that's an excellent suggestion, will do that in the next community feedback chapter!
Underrated channel, gained a new sub! Would be cool if you add a car POV at the end of every video to see how the citizens commute to work
Thanks! And yeah good call, I need to work on my cinematics game

Guten tag! And ha just got back from Europe, definitely need to hit up Germany though...

I'm really enjoying your videos, keep it up!
Thank you!
The road builder mod seems really cool and I have a question if you have access to it can you make a zone-able train track 😂😂 ??
Yeah can't wait to get my hands on that mod. From what I've seen from other RUclipsrs, tracks don't have zoning tiles, but will see!
@@skilzthatkilz11 I know its just because I wanted (idk why) to see if it’s possible 😂

That all aside I appreciate the inclusion of urban decay
wait do you have red green color blindness?
Yeah pretty badly lol. Blue purple too.
