    My appointments:
    - put your focus in the same direccion as the other person to understand them (alliance)
    - Social distances can change, orientations do not
    - As people move to conection, they move towards pleasure
    - You can make people like you more, standing at their dominant side (right hand dominant, stand at right side)
    - Feet orientation tell how invested in the interaction the person is
    - In a group look for the leader (feets are pointed at him)
    - Proximity tells you how much trust they have
    - Bouncy leg, means stress (positive or negative)
    - Lean towards (interested, paying attention)
    - Take space to get more power
    - Change your state -> change posture and breathing
    - If you know things about the person, without them telling it to you, you gain status in their world (you can do this through reading body postures)
    - Asymmetry is flirtation body language

Notice something he did at 32:24
He gives a command for self congratulations and then immediately gives a hard command to take a seat. The people flew down into their seats faster than I’ve ever notice an audience do before.
I wonder what this is. It must be something. Maybe giving and taking rapport to snap the audience attention back in place.
Whatever it was it is interesting.

ventral orientation, or "open stance", increases intimacy and the intensity of the interaction, whether that be increased hostility or increased intimacy. Another pro tip I came up with on the spot just now: Align yourself with others, and if things are going well, align yourself in open stance to speed the development of the relationship. This is all new to me, interesting stuff thanks for sharing

The moment your critical facilty goes out, your will power is done. Your will power is a finite resource, but the most powerful hypnotic operator you have is your body. The energy behind your persuasion message is generated from your body. If the feelings in your body are right, your posture will be right, if your posture is right, your breathing is right, if your breathing is right, your tonality is right. When those things are right, it's really hard to do something wrong.

When you described the reptilian mind and the foot orientation, I smiled and remembered seeing that. Great video. George.

He's right about the flashing. If a women did that at the bar, a man would wonder if she did that because she was drunk, if it was a dare, if she was interested, etc. Basically, there would be multiple questions we would ask ourselves. Having said that, it's only because it''s so out of left filed. If she looked at a man and just seductively undid on button on her blouse, we would get the message loud and clear. The only hesitation would be to look behind us to see if we were indeed, the intended target.

Ok, can we take a deeper look at "Familiar"? Because if you grow up in a dysfunctional and or abusive home, familiar is not a good indicator of safe and functional but we are still drawn to familiar so in look for a spouse, for example, if we are female and our father was aloof, indifferent, or even narcissistic then we will likely attract and be drawn to people who are selfish, dismissive, avoidant and manipulative, people who do not have our interest in mind let alone our best interest. Be wary if you have grown up in an abusive home that when you meet someone and you feel like you have known them your whole life, likely you have met someone who is like those in your childhood home who may have been the ones who abused you.
I am not saying that you won't be attracted to those who tried to protect you, only that a feeling of familiarity may not always be good. Dreams of what we want our life to look like are good, right? When we say "I am living the dream" or "I want my dream life" do we forget that nightmares are dreams also. . . . .

“Right hand dominant” should now be called, “Precision hand”.
One hand is mapped for Endurance and strength, the other is mapped for detail management. So you can understand why you’d want to be on the side oriented for care.

on the OODA loop thing, alot of people driving cars will experience the overload thing when they need to process too much and their ability to react, drops. I'm somewhat of an extreme case as i've taught myself to absorb my surroundings as complete as possible, so there's alot more that i observe and thus the orientation stage takes longer and the decision time is abhorrent and, well the action time thereafter is normal. I've also taught myself a work around, where i focus on 1 thing to orient myself on, while still observing all. Now imagine doing that in heavy traffic...
In order for me to drive safely, i needed to either narrow what i observe or expand what i orientate around. It's taking toll of my attention capacity as the habits of fully observing and single focussing my orientation when needed, have become years old habits that have been reinforced within my brain.
Understanding all of this combined, for sure is a half way mark to changing myself for the better as driver :D

      Meditation and having fun with it, 5 minutes a day beats 30 minutes a week. Consistency is key. Journalling what comes up so you have a record of your progress and can pick it up easier if you stop for any reason. I'm sure there is more - this is what came to mind. I recommend breathing in for a 4 count, holding for 4, releasing for 4, and waiting to inhale for 4 - it's a great way to tap into your unconscious, and bring your conscious mind along for the ride, so it doesn't "get in the way";

Weak handshakes is a very good sign. Women not so much, but if a man gives you a weak handshake do not trust him - imho and experience.

I'm eating lunch across from a woman, she stretches her leg underneath the table and puts her foot on the seat next to me. Is this a good sign?

People who bang on constantly about “body language” must be a total pain in the arse to have anything to do with. They would constantly be reading into every movement and even the slightest facial expressions. How about listening a little closer to what a person is actually saying, and the logic, and consistency of what they are saying.

Its a great idea, alas there is often a huge divide between the intention of a communication and the interpretation of that communiction. As long as that is true, folks will continue to drill down on non-verbal data to interpret intention.

@@IReservedI Yep. Him and the guy off 'lie to me' though are great albeit fictional introductions to this and I watched them both with great interest. (The "Lie to me" probably has better science since Lightman was based of a real expert but there it is.)

Time passes based on individual perception.... There's no such thing as seconds hours or minutes those are artificial inventions of man that we can all agree upon...or not!

everyone is different, you just have to roll with the changes, also my way of asking for volunteers usually starts with me point a finger at you and saying thank you for volunteering.😂
