This reminds me of an old game I've played years ago: Car Tycoon. It starts in the 1950s, but is more or less the same game principle.
You start with a basic car model and one factory, but you can buy more factories, have to compete agains other brands and so on. I never managed to survive quite long xD
We've had the Failrace Police Department, the Failrace Fire Service, and the Failrace Airborne Fighting Force. Now we have the Failrace Motor Works!
Love it! The rear-engined sedan is a Tatra 87!
8 minutes into the video I already decided I wanted to play this game. Simply because Alex's factory bothers me and I need to build one better. XD Unfortunately the game is not out until August 1st.

Man when will we ever get a game like car town
Been watching loads of different RUclipsrs play this and was wondering when failrace would get his hands on it. So happy that he did as it’s right up his and this community’s street. Would love to see a full let’s play of this🙂👍🏻
This game reminds me a lot of Production Line, which is another game I think I first saw on this channel
Just played the prologue had a ton of fun with the tutorial and mission can’t wait to buy this game in full
Omg racing In the future that sounds so so cool been wanting a game that lets you open a racing department ands compete in formula 1, rally, etc
Those are some buff production workers, holding a whole body of a vehicle. Give em a raise, the robots stand no chance against such beasts. :P
I would watch more of this for sure.
I hope the can make a game like this in future but you have to design your own custom made car for sale in the factory like youtuber supercar blonde always feature in his channel.
Another video or two on this as the game progresses in development would be just great.
Also I can’t wait till they hopefully expand the game to get to more modern cars considering the selection and design is fantastic

In the mission you have to research a military vehicle so a military contracting department would be cool to see

Love this game, played the prologue a while back.
Looks like you have fallen into the same trap I did and advanced too fast, your cars are too advanced and too modern to sell well, you can see that the cars you are stopping production of because they are "too old" are actually your most popular ones, because they are right for the time period.
I even did one of the races in the prologue, made the mistake of selling out of my fastest car just before the race, so had to use a left over stock car that was 2 tiers out of date, my drivers still won the race...
You're selling 1950s cars in 1915 :) The research speed might need tweaking.

Looks like a different spin on "Production Line" from a few years ago. Not that is a bad thing, I'm just name-dropping a similar game in case people are craving more.
EDIT. Annnnnd Fail's already done videos on it. Still, it was years ago d=P
It would be so cool if they could some how incorporate this into automation game like how they did with beamng
