I have a 4020 with hydraulic problems. Sometimes the power steering works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes the loader works, sometimes it doesn't. Front pump has good pressure and the pump under the deck plate looks good. Do you have any idea what may be wrong?
Ah yes. Did I not mention it in the video? I would see if your local dealer would get you a copy of the pages from the book. Read the book as you watch this video and it will make a lot of sense
Amazing video, very informative. My 4230 3 point is no lift until the very top of the control is hit, then it goes all the way up, then 1/16 on the handle is lowered and its all the way down. .I'm hoping this will fix that any thoughts?
I have tried that, if the draft lever is less that 3/4 I get zero lift at all, if it's at 100percent I get lift but no ability to choose a midway position, either up or down. I'm working on it now with the draft over slot screw
So I gained a tiny bit of control using the first step of your video.but still mostly all the way up or down. I'll grab a socket and weld it up next and go thru the bung.
With the draft lever In one position I think the book says by the time the back of your control lever gets by the number nine your three point will be almost all the way down. With the draft in the other positjonah. Then as you move your ladder forward. The three point goes down
Have to wait till this winter. I can't see any time this summer, have 3 overhauls, couple transmission jobs and lots of misc tractors to get through the shop
I will be applying this in the very near future. My 4230 3 point has been out of whack since I got it. Nice job explaining these adjustments.
Very informative, you made that sound straightforward and simple.
Thanks
Great job Jon. An amazing tractor now.
Thanks.
Man that was a good video.
Thank you.

Good information, any information on a 4960 three point hitch not lifting?
Hydraulic wise it would be very similar to the 4850 I did the other winter. But then the 4960 you've got the electronic side.
I have a 4230, does it matter what position the rockshaft selector leaver (draft control lever) is in to do this adjustment?

Move your draft lever by your right foot to the other end of its slot.
