One can hope, right? Tory reminds Chozen of himself when he was young and he is the perfect Sensei for her, because he immediately noticed that she is troubled. I think these 2 will have quite some interesting conversations in Season 6.
You see her face when he says "Now focus, centre, breathe." Straight out of the Mr Miyagi repertoire. She's completely absorbed and becomes more balanced than she's ever been. It's a great scene.

Silver tested Chozen through the dinner and Chozen failed. Its as if Chozen never went to Japan his whole life and only stayed in Okinawa. The food that Silver served to Chozen, Fillet Hamo, thats a regional cuisine to Kyoto residents. People go to Kyoto to eat the best fillet hamo(white meat eel fish). Its a city where chefs are proud of their eel bonecutting technique. So when Silver served Chozen with fillet hamo, Chozen shouldve been surprised and impressed that Silver went to that depth of knowing Kyoto and doing his best to serve him. But to Chozen, since he doesnt know what that food is, he just sat there as if its just another food. That was one red flag that alerted Silver. Then saying Karii, which is rarely used even by Okinawans unless theyre in Okinawa, was a huge expose. Okinawa to Japan is like Hawaii to the US. Imagine someone claiming theyre from New York or Texas but says Ke'Aloha instead of Cheers. Immediately u will know he's not from NY or Texas.

Nice play on the wording! He's better than Johnny Lawrence, Daniel Larusso, and Mike Barnes, put together. They're great, and all three of them have the potential to become legendary Senseis. However, Chozen doesn't have to learn to be a Sensei. You might say, that he was pretty much born a Sensei. It's in his blood. He's a pure-blood, and it shows. Chozen would be my first choice for being my Sensei. It's a tie between Johnny Lawrence and Mike Barnes, as to who I'd choose next, to be my Sensei. Unfortunately, because of some of the unsavory junk that I've seen out of Daniel Larusso, he would be my last choice, as a Sensei. He preaches peace and balance, but at times, he seems to be very war-like, and totally unbalanced! Chozen is the clear winner, as it relates to having balance. He could be my Sensei anyday!

this gonna be troubling since Kreese is on the run and even though Tory see him as a father figure, he just left her in the dust so I don't think Tory would be safe around Miyagi Do for now.
If Tory and Sam were to ever reconcile their differences moving forward my hope is that Chozen would be the one to help Tory along that path. Why? Because he also once tried to kill a LaRusso and later found a way to move past it. A warrior at heart and one who'd be a perfect mentor for Tory. Their screen time was short but this interaction here is still heavy nonetheless, =)
Vegeta and Piccolo were Gokus arch enemies but both turned good and became Gokus friends also Seto Kaiba was a bitter rival to Yugi/Atem but later on Kaiba became more of a friendly rival with respect to Yugi/Atem. So I think the same is possible for Tory with Sam.

This is an excellent scene about time and evolution. When we are young we get this perverted sense of what’s right and wrong. The benefit of time. It teaches us a greater understanding of right vs wrong. What makes Cobra Kai special. It’s a show about evolution and growth.
People keep comparing Chozen to Mr. Miyagi, and I can see it. An older wisdom with much to share with the younger generation. Not to mention a badass old man who won't hesitate to show that wisdom to a kids head if they need it.

Chozen needs to be Tory's sensai. First time she is being trained vs manipulated. Kreese had a few breakthrough moments, but he negated those by manipulating her.

It is this advice, mentoring, that makes Pat Morita's Miyagi to be so cherished by those that were teens when Karate Kid 1st came out. His character filled a void in many. Chozen's redemption in Cobra Kai is wonderful. He became Miyagi with a crazy streak.

If Tory were to actually teach her. Just that alone will have her outclass every other female fighter n even up to par with Robby n miguel. Remember she knows only cobra kai teachings n a few lessons on miyagi-do from Robby despite this she still is a equal to Sam n even overwhelms her most of the time with her unmatched speed n power n toughness. So add the teachings of countering n using one's strength against them(chozen) n absolute defense(daniel) she'd rise even higher
Ironically some of my favorite seasons in 4 and 5 are Tory getting good mentorship. She got some great mentorship here from Chozen and in season 4 from Amanda. I hope in season 6 Amanda could give more mentorship to Tory.
Even though the Karate kid franchise is mostly based around Danielson I'd rather have Chozen or Johnny be the kid's main sensei as they are former bad boys who has completely changed their lives around.

Chozen stole season 5.
The entire cast was great, but Yuji Okumoto just owns every scene he's in.
Having really not watched much of the series, this is an excellent example of instruction.
chozen is the sensei that tory needed, 1st both have a lot of common, chozen used to be an angry kid just like tory, after a eventof stuff but realized how they method were a little extreme and at last both found redemption in their ways
Chozen actually talked Tory into confronting Silver thus leading to the evidence that would take him down
If Tory were to actually teach her. Just that alone will have her outclass every other female fighter n even up to par with Robby n miguel. Remember she knows only cobra kai teachings n a few lessons on miyagi-do from Robby despite this she still is a equal to Sam n even overwhelms her most of the time with her unmatched speed n power n toughness. So add the teachings of countering n using one's strength against them(chozen) n absolute defense(daniel) she'd rise even higher
Chozen should mentor Tory in season six.
I for one REALLY REALLY WANT Chozen to go on 1-1 training with Tory. They seemed a perfect match and I believe he can bring her back to her best.

Ironically some of my favorite seasons in 4 and 5 are Tory getting good mentorship. She got some great mentorship here from Chozen and in season 4 from Amanda. I hope in season 6 Amanda could give more mentorship to Tory.

Chozen may have been exposed, but he managed to solidify Tory's doubt in Silver. So mission accomplished overall.
Hopefully later on we should see more Chozen & Tory-San training together on s6 also redeem her honor 🇯🇵🥋🙏🏻

Even though the Karate kid franchise is mostly based around Danielson I'd rather have Chozen or Johnny be the kid's main sensei as they are former bad boys who has completely changed their lives around.
Season 6 If it's the last season...then bring everyone back from the karate kid movies in one season...even julie...and bring the monks back. Wanna see Johnny interact with them lol

Think about it in Karate Kid Part 3 that's basically what silver did to Daniel he was trying to Cloud his mind use fear as a tactic I mean f*** he almost seceded to end Daniel and Mr miyagi's family relationship
