It's great you briefly mention the lack of i-Stop and Cylinder Deactivation. This specific CX-5 trim is what's forcing me to heavily consider it over a Subaru. Mazda's stubbornness in staying with the 6-speed auto transmission is the definite plus over CVT. Thanks, as usual, on mentioning the maintenance aspects. By the way, your backpack always seems to be having a good time. Has there ever been a review when it wasn't? Does it have a name? 😂
If this will get too the hybridisation (from the minority shareholder Toyota) it will be an amazing offer. Even without, the reliable and low TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) CX-5 with the amazing Skyactiv G is an excellent choice.
A GPS box that connects to their free phone app, it’s called a Dragy and it cost about $150 when I bought it several years ago. 10/10 recommend for performance testing.
I think it was, but I also used it to film a few other videos and may have accidentally grabbed a 2024. To my knowledge they’re basically unchanged for this model year. Here’s another video of one I did that was for sure a 2025. ruclips.net/video/P8-jP_MH-tA/видео.htmlsi=O1mbj2CTouerFrRX

Yeah, Mazdas stubbornness is a really good thing right now, lol. The back pack doesn’t have a name, but it has been featured in most of my videos! 😉
It’s so beautiful. I love this vehicle. My first dream vehicle. 😊 It’s already mine. 🎉
I saw one in this red in person the other day and it was incredible. I’m ready to buy one, not even caring about any other features (!).
OK, good to see 2025 review; Thanks for making video tolerable length (viewed at 1.75x)
I got my 2023 cx5 preferred under 30k I had to negotiate and trade my mazda3 in but was able to get an otd price under 30k

Yea, it was a really good deal, you get alot for the money on the preferd trim

yeah, no way I'm buying a gas only economy car in 2025
I wouldn’t be surprised. I’m very excited to drive the hybrid 2.5 CX-50 in a few weeks.

IS THIS the 2025? I query that as Ive seen other reviews that have it looking slightly different in front and rear .
