I was having the exact same issue with my G7 HE in regards to the calibration test, but couldn't get *EITHER* LT/RT to detect. Also noticed it was causing the trigger sensitivity to not hit full range as a result. Contacted GameSir through their Discord and was given an updater tool to bring the G7 HE from v6.33 to v6.35, which fixed the issue. Hopefully they'll release it properly through their Nexus app, but for now it can be found in their Discord server in the "G7" tab in #faqs under their *Support & Help* section.
Got the SE for free with MS reward points to replace my series S controller cant power on suddenly. Love it over the Series S controller. Just got the ironman version of the HE and tbh I prefer the SE. Or I just need time to get used to the tactile feel and rubber grips that I never experienced before this
@@Cal316326 Yeah the HE took me a while to get used to, and I did prefer the SE at first. But the HE does feel better after you have used it for a week or two, the rubber grip on the back is definitely my favourite

I have the SE and I literally love this thing I used to buy elite series 2 controllers literally everything 3-6 months because of the stupid stick drift this is literally WAYY better I’ve been using it for over a year maybe 2 or so and it’s a beast for FPS or any game in that matter at first I disliked it soo hard because it felt totally different but 4 days later I couldn’t put it down I got it pimped out with side grips and control freaks and custom faceplate

@@goingviral8917 My absolute favourite of them all is the G7SE, however I wish it had the rubber grip on the back like the HE (probably will look at trying to install one myself later). The Fusion pro 4 having the hall effect sticks should mean they last longer, but they still don't feel as good to use as the gamesir ones. The HE is great also, but unless you really want the tactile switches in the face buttons and d pad, I would just stick with the G7 SE
I had the same problem with the left trigger but I found if I kept it held down longer it calibrated ok. Even with both SE & HE running latest firmware my SE is on v6.30 and my HE is on v6.33 I only game on console tho not PC
Im thinking of getting the HE as im onto my 2nd Elite 2 of the year as they just get stick drift so quickly, and to where you have to have above 10 on the COD Deadzone setting. Do these hold up against the input delay of the elites 2's?
@@cowhead0201 the G7 HE will be the solution to all your problems. If stick drift develops then you just recalibrate it and it will be dead centre again. I’ve had mine for 3 months nearly now, and I’ve never had to calibrate it and I run 0 deadzones. The sticks are super accurate. Also the controllers are twice as fast as the elite series 2 on Xbox, and on PC you can over clock to 1000Hz to make it 8x faster
@@djsky2k8 yeah a lot of HE models seem to be like this. The SE does sound like it’s working a lot better so maybe return to swap it out for an SE instead?

Does the ABXY buttons on the HE hold their input if you press another button? I read one thing that may be irrelevant, now I'm unsure if I should get the HE or not. Like if I hold A to jump/mantle, but press Y between the jump and mantle, will it still mantle or do you have to press A again?
@@jeffb6276 it works exactly the same as an original Xbox controller and the G7 SE. So holding any button while tapping another will still register, it will hold the input. Hope this helps!

Even though same scenario applies in mechanical (switches)keyboard so here consequences are exactly same, in controller case as well, so if HE does work same as mechanical keyboard then it does make sense otherwise its trash.

I have the HE and the RT won't calibrate , so i can't end the calibration . in god of war in the select menu were you need LT /RT to navigate , i press once it regiter multible inputs half of the time, my motherboard tries to power off some usbs sometimes i believe so the controller becomes unrecognized sometimes , i solved this be removing the power saving option on the USB. other then that it's very good i like using it , very responsive .
So make sure when you put the he it says g7 he and not se I also think this makes it wonky lol he should’ve had its own software tbh but the controller feels a lot better than the se tbh I like that the tension is a little tighter than the se
@@Chocoflxnn for me i didn't try the G7 SE but those mechanical bottons and the small dead zone on the sticks (i made them smaller on the software) they are really sweet . and i ordered the Vader 4 pro from AliBaba for 57,69 Euro, it should arrive in two weeks or i get scammed. the prices on AliBaba are dynamic and unpredictible so price you might get is not fixed.
Alright has anyone notice if you hold down the left trigger to aim does it get stuck in ads? Both my he and se are doing it but it only does it when the left trigger is held down for a while or press the button hard sometimes but once u touch another button or the analogs it goes back to normal just notice this last night

@@Bugra2254 My favourite controller for COD is the Gamesir G7 SE so I highly recommend that one. The Razer wolverine V3 is also very good but much more expensive. I’ve tested quite a few controllers and I cannot really recommend any others at the moment. I hope this helps

But the way I see it, I would get a controller with more features/options for an extra $10 because maybe in the future it will be useful. So, I play a lot of college football and didn't know anyone this stuff when I ordered my HE two days ago lol. I'm just getting into gaming and this is my first non OEM controller. I wouldn't imagine the back buttons would even do anything in a football game would they? Could I just program to be non functional in the software? Or are you stuck with them being live no matter what?

I like the switches in the face buttons on the HE, but the switches in the dpad require way too much force and lead to fatigue quickly.

Confirm, if u kept pushing the triggers for some time it eventualy calibrate fine...

The HE is bugged, the 1000hz polling rate doesn't work and I have the same issue where right trigger cannot be calibrated

Bought the HE a few days on Amazon in Germany and I didn't have any issues calibrating the controller (including the triggers).
