Hi, I’m going to start my architecture course sometime in September this year, I want to prepare for the course and improve my skills with sketching.
Just wanted to say that this was very helpful as I’m not too good with doing sketches or drawing digitally. I am more use to doing things with pen and paper.

practicing sketching is a great way to prepare for architecture school. for sure I wouldn’t stress about doing it digitally but generally it’s good practice to learn composition, layering, line weights etc

Great video!
Here are a few tips or workaround:
1. you can change you background layer to something basic grids or scale grids
2. set your default layer to white in your settings instead of changing the color every time you create one

Hi I wanna apply for architecture program in university, so as you know I have to have a great portfolio to get acceptance. From now I wanna make a portfolio by sketching or whatever you recommend to me as a architecture student. So now I wanna sketching and make portfolio I was wondering if you recommend what supplies or what applications do I need to or is there any courses to take for me to prepare for sketching and also I wanna by ipad, which ipad would you recommend to buy? And if I buy a ipad which app should I use for sketching?
