Samsung Fridge Water Filter Replacement

My Samsung refrigerator needed its water and ice filter replaced. So, I bought a new Samsung water filter from Lowes to replace the old filter with.

Glad I found this video. My filter went out today, and I bought a new one from Lowe's also. The thing is, it's been about 4 hours since I've replaced it and it still isn't making any ice (I have an ice-only model). Then I noticed how you turned your filter while installing. I was doing quarter turn counter-clockwise to take out the old filter, and quarter turn clockwise to replace. I just did your method and heard the filter sound off as I did the 180 degree turn. Fingers crossed.

I was wondering about that. I have had other brands of refrigerator/freezers and never had to shut the water off. I think the water shutoff is behind the fridge which would mean I would need to move the fridge to change the filter.
