Thank you so much ❤ Handy girl at work again saving myself money 😂 great video for an easy fix it yourself ❤
I think it's difficult to find the exact replacement part to do that so I was thinking about joining the two water lines together and bypassing the filter element Will that work?
Nice info iwill surly try that.?? How u know what size compressor your refrigerator use.
Need help quick, how do you remove the water hose and filter hose from inlet valve?
Thank you
Excellent DIY video!
Thank you! If we can assist you in the future please let us know.
Is it possible to purchase the inlet valve assembly for the DA97-11433A filter housing?
What is the model of your appliance?
Water leaks from my water filter receptacle. This occurs with various filters, including Samsung branded ones. Is there a simpler repair than removing and replacing the entire housing?
How did you finally fix the problem?
@@scottbrown8996 I haven’t really. I now keep a plastic container in the produce bin and the leaking water fills it up. Very disappointed in Samsung. They wasted quite a bit of my time then did nothing to help me fix their design problem.
Can the part being discussed in this video be damaged by trying to melt a clog with a hair dryer ?
Yes that is possible.
Will this part fit my refrigerator Samsung model RF263TEAAESR ?
Do you happen to see a REV or revision number on the model number stick by chance? Something like AA-00, AA-01, or anything like that?
I see Rev 07 S/N;JKG04BBK503673R
There is a spout inside the ring for the receiver. I think it should be centered. It is not. How can i make it centered?
What is the model number of your appliance and we can look into this for you.
What symptoms would cause you to replace this part in the first place?
If there is low water pressure. If the housing is cracked or has any leaks. What is going on with your refrigerator?
What causes the smell in the water filter housing assembly? I took out the water filter and the housing assembly still stinks. Thanks.
You may need to check your housing to see if you have a water line leaking that could be causing buildup inside there that needs to be cleaned. If you do find a damaged water line or connection and need help locating or ordering a part you can call us at 1-877-477-7278.
@@appliancepartspros thank you

Returning customer here, did purchase multiple times from your store. Now I am back for more:)
Our 10 y old RF323TEDBSR Samsung refrigerator started leaking from under the filter assembly, I am watching this tutorial and it looks exactly like my fridge, but I think you posted a different model number.
Anyways, I typed my model RF323TEDBSR at your web store and unless I add RF323TEDBSR/AA-0001
I was looking and it does appear that part number AP5623837 will work for your model number.
Thank you and appreciate for the quick reply.
You are very welcome. If there is anything we can help you with in the future please let us know.
What if my waterline broke going in to the fridge and I just need to replace the line? Can I just use a connector? Or do I have to replace the whole line?
It is going to depend on where it is broken?
@@appliancepartspros it’s broken about halfway through the line. There’s probably a good 2 feet on each side after the break. It’s not broken near or inside the fridge.
What is the model number of your fridge?
@@appliancepartspros RS25H5111SRIAA it’s 1/4 John Guest tubing.
If you think you can use a connector then you can try it. There is a universal connector you can try if you want, but I can't promise that it will work. The part number you would be looking for is AP5795479. Below is the link to that part so you can look at it.

Where is that accent from, sounds like someone from Singapore who moved to South Africa when he was 15 years old. he's now 40.
Is there a way to troubleshoot the housing assembly to see if that's what needs replacing?
I have recently discovered significant pooling up of water in the Flex Drawer and freezer. After finding no clogs in the defrost drain pipes, I ruled that out. I did change the water filter less than a week ago, following the usual procedure and didn't experience anything obviously out of the ordinary with dispensing water, but I'm now leaning towards something related to that system being the cause, with no idea exactly what. It is a Samsung brand filter and an RF4287HARS model refrigerator. Icemaker was running fine.
I currently have the water line turned off and the filter removed. Any suggestions?
