Hi Herman, The pinky red box is a Line 6 PODxt effects unit. At that time I was using it for Vox AC15 amplifier simulation, reverb and equalization. It also functioned as a USB interface with the computer. It was actually quite a nice piece of kit, but I have since moved on. Please let me know if you have other questions. All the best, James
