Not to mention this rivalry is the only one to literally start with a turf war with actual casualties between Michigan and Ohio.

The cool thing about this segment is Chris Carter played against Harbaugh. I remember his leaping touchdown catch. Speilman’s 29 tackles and Harbaugh guaranteeing a victory. One of the greatest college football games I’ve ever seen…

This is THE rivalry. There is no other game that is this big. I'm a Buckeyes fan since birth. I now reside in Texas but still love and support my Buckeyes. TA@M and Texas think that they had a rivalry. It's gone now. Real rivalries don't just end. There is literally no other game this big. NONE. LOL. Oh and by the way. I really have enjoyed watching all of those tears running down the faces of the M fans. Yeah, we dont call them by name,,,on purpose. LOL

Joseph Reiner that's part of learning any tradition. Some people will appreciate it more than others, some may not know as much as someone else and that's ok. Everybody has their own association/relation and that gives them a different perspective. In this case this is the biggest rivalry in college football. Trying to exclude people from getting a chance to take part in it pushes people away. If you notice someone online like that, that's a chance to have a little history lesson on the significance of the game.

Let's look at the facts, Michigan hasn't beaten Ohio State since 2011, prior to that was 2003 and the biggest kicker, I'm not even an Ohio State fan.
look at the overall record buddy, and the 90s it was reversed. That's just how it is, but its 95% of the time a good game to watch. There's no exchanging jerseys after the game or shaking hands..it runs deep..even as NFL players. If you dont like The Game than dont watch it.
Michigan is a shell of what it used to be, the all time count is the only thing they have to hold on to. It's been a long time since they were relevant. Harbaugh is now 1-5 VS his rivals.

I graduated twice from Ohio State I clearly remember those terrible years under that frigging hillbilly Cooper, that was an awful time, and I never want to forget it! All the more sweeter that we have beat them the 13 out of the 14 years It makes me euphoric! CC gets it. I want to beat them when they are not good and I want to beat when they are good. I could care less if they are a good team. It’s about championships now, getting to BIG 10 championship and play offs is what it is all about...now.

The Red River Rivarly stems deep and has been a huge deciding factor in the Big 12 and Big 8 conference as the Big Game has been in the Big Ten

Its regional....Ohio state and Michigan have rarely been national powers at the same time...they've never had national titles on the line....Miami and FSU have played multiple times with the national title on the line...theyve both taken each other out of the national title picture....Michigan has 1 national title since 1948....its regional.

This rivalry sucks. Both teams have lost their mid-west identities because more than 20% of their players come from the South. Neither team could compete w/o their Southern players. Now look at Alabama vs Auburn rivalry. Very few mid-west players on those 2 teams. Mostly all southern players. W/O southern players B1G would be Division 2 teams. So Michigan vs OSU is a bogus rivalry. Auburn vs Alabama the real thing.

Auburn vs Alabama is a regional battle consisting of regional southern players mostly. OSU vs Michigan is about southern football stars playing for 2 teams and little to do with players from Michigan & Ohio playing a regional rivalry game. Quit having 20% of your players being from the South and recruit more mid-west players. The mid-west players would care about the rivalry.Your Southern players could care less. Look at Georgia. 96% of their players are from Georgia.

By the way starting time at the Big House is usually in the 30's. A temperature even teams like the Miami Hurricanes would love to play in' Yes. FSU has the 4 seasons it snows and it gets really cold there.The Southern teams are not soft that's why the B1G prefers Southern players over mid-west players.
