These lamps are Ramadan decorations:)
thanks, I heard. Very nice
This is why I don't prefer tourist place when travelling, the hectic and busy streets are quite intimidating to me 😅 The Israeli comment cracks me up 🤣🤣🤣
Same here but I suppose I have to show some of those places too in a travel vlog. I prefer non touristic places by far.
@@yvesthesleeve Yea thanks for showing us the place, I was eyeing the items in the shops lol But this is not like what I've watched from Hollywood movies on Eqypt 😂😂 I hope they closed the roads from all vehicles too as it seems pretty dangerous especially for people that brings kids there.
@@nutzhazel Well, that would be best indeed
You should come back to Malaysia. Foreigners will also get vaccinated.
Can't go back now, they won't let me in, next year hopefully
I’m impressed. Some of them wearing masks.
Not too many
Wow! You can also speak Spanish 😆😆😆 Swiss people can immediately change their language.... amazing!!
Cheers, but speaking Spanish has nothing to do with my being Swiss, I just lived in Spain a while and we also spent quite some time in Latin America 😀😀
@@yvesthesleeve Where did you like it the best?
@@ChocolateMilk.. What do you mean, in the world, or in Latin America?
@@yvesthesleeve Both..
@@yvesthesleeve I've been wanting to go to Uruguay.
reminds me a bit like grand bazaar in istanbul. less nicer tho.
Yes, there are some similarities. The grand bazaar in Istanbul is also very touristy, the equivalent to the Khan el-Khalili.
@@yvesthesleeve i see, so it was not an apple to apple comparison. probably should have compared it to the one in Bursa. i have never been to egypt, would love to go some day.
@@GajahMengaumTheBruce Still, they are similar in some ways. When I remember correctly the one in Istanbul has mostly a roof if not mistaken.
@@yvesthesleeve yes but its also surrounded wt outdoor market too. please let us know how family friendly is egypt later ..
Wow no mask? Is it ok?
Yes, it is not mandatory and I also think there are not very many cases.
Did you say later alligator 20:40?😂.... they are suspicious indeed of you ... mossad lol... tell them you just came from malaysia (they pronounce it malayzie)
Yeah, I did 😀. No worries, it's all in good humor 👍
I'm going to Cairo for the first time next month. Will I be able to visit this place on my own, or would you recommend having a guide?
Have a guide with u is eveb more fun
Definitely have a friend or guide walk with you, especially in Khan El Khalili. If alone, just be pretty firm and bargain for prices since shoppers will hike the price. It’s all about bargaining and hoping not to be scammed hehe…
I never had a guide in my life
Hi... Hello, find me Aladdin lamp..... 😁😁😁
Hello 😊 I am trying, promised 😀😀
14:50 سويسرا حالها اتدهور خالص 😂
😀😀😀 don't understand...
@@yvesthesleeve One of the guys in the video said upon knowing that you're a Swiss that Switzerland has significantly deteriorated which I found funny due to the fact that there's a presupposition that most Europeans tend to spend money on almost anything if pushed enough. In other words, they were implying, in a creative way, that you're an anomaly.
@@abdullaha.muhammad6036 That's indeed very funny 😀😀😀
4:12 dog looked liked its being starved :(
Dogs aren't much there, cats have it better.
Very old skool bazar. Just dont ask for prices.
Well, only if I want to be amused 😀
Should wear mask....why u don't follow like in Malaysia..... wearing mask... think of ur family....from K L
Mask is not mandatory in Egypt. I would never wear a mask if it is not mandatory.
Egypt looks fantastic place , but a bit noisy 😂, Cairo is the city never sleeps 😂
Yes, Cairo is actually the best place for me.
# I am sorry to say this..
to what I've experienced even the smartest of the locals do get scammed one way or the other..
A tourist/expat only hope is.. a very good luck on each street
journey .. 🤞(bon voyages) 😅
Yes, but if I don't plan to buy anything I won't get scammed 😀. Always know what something is worth to you then it will be okay I suppose. I have traveled most of my live to very many countries and have thousands and thousands of scammer - it's always okay. And if sometimes you pay a bit more it is just part of the deal 😀
@@yvesthesleeve
Very true.. somebody got to do it.. ✅ & someone got to get it.. ✔️💯👌
@@lendmioNoai 👍👍👍👍
Please stay safe. Why wouldn’t you wear a mask? Don’t take chances.
Thanks for your concern
Friday is like the Christian or Jewish Sabbath. Sabt in Arabic means seventh.
Interesting, thanks
Soy Mexicano y hablas muy bien español no sabia que lo hablabas
muchas gracias
Please be extra careful in the street and advise to wear face mask
thanks for your concern 👍
Friday prayer is usually in congregation. It’s the Muslim sabbath.
Dont trust anyone... when i was there buying a shawl i was holding US dollars and came out losing all that was in my hand
Yes, you gotta be careful indeed. But I am very experienced and would actually never buy anything in a market like this. Everything you want you can also get in local markets...this is very much for tourists.
But you do trust the Egyptians mostly wear no face masks nor practicing social distancing as if they are immune to the pandemic, right?
@@saidinmas Exactly 😀😀😀😀, Well, there is no official pandemic here actually, few cases only. But I don't know if they do a lot of testing. But what I have learned from within the last year that people tested positive and people getting sick is a whole different ball game. Let alone those who died. I actually know people from all over the world and that is a lot of people. I do not know of anyone getting sick from the virus, sometimes that makes me think...
I have an Egyptian teacher. Her family and her don't want to go back to Egypt anymore. Her siblings and many of her relatives also migrate to other countries.
She said that things are different now. There are thieves everywhere, many people don't get proper job and some of them underpaid. It's hard to live there anymore.
Just take precautions, don't easily trust anybody anywhere you go.
Run......get out of there post haste if you feel intimidated. Cos I will 🏃
It's alright, I felt good, these guys don't intimidate me, I have traveled for many years and know the schemes by heart 😀
