Found you on TikTok. This is very insightful, I’m surprised these schools don’t have similar podcasts with students to really dive into the diverse backgrounds and what the authentic experience is really like. Though I guess Chad wouldn’t have been able to be so honest on a “official” video lol.. Keep it up!
Thank you! I appreciate that. It's fun for me to shine a light on my classmates and I'm happy that you're able to take away some learnings. Most MBA websites have a lot of statistics (average age, average GMAT score, etc), but I really want to share the PEOPLE and their stories behind the stats!
Hello Cherie! This is Mudasar from Pakistan. I have following your interview series, and all the epsiodes are so insightful and interesting! Thank you so much for creating this amazing channel!
Season 1 has been really insightful and there have been great takeaways from your guests. This has been really helpful especially as I'm about to start my MBA in a few weeks. Thanks for keeping it real, Cherie! Best of luck in Japan and looking forward to s2!
Cherie...the best ..Chad Jenis with really important podcast ..❤keep going cherie ..I know I am a bit off but wanted to know on your skin care too cherie 😊
Cherie these classes sound crazy. Am I missing something? I always associate MBA's with generic business classes like finance, accounting, economics etc. But you're referencing classes like "engineering a remarkable life", "winning writing", "touchy-feely"? I've always disregarded an MBA because I did my Bachelors in the same thing. But this has piqued my interest.
The first year is mainly the required generic classes. The second year at Stanford is focused on electives and they’re very wide ranging from real estate investing all the way to public speaking to negotiation to spirituality 😇
I had a request to make too. I hope you are able to do it. I am planning to pursue graduate studies in social policy after completing my undergrad in business. Could you interview someone with policy background who has maybe worked in impact consulting or impact organizations? I saw your interview with Gabriela and that helped alot, but opinion from someone who has a more specific policy education and experience would be more helpful. Thankss
Almost all Stanford MBA students have work experience after college (average is around 5 years). I would recommend having a few years before starting business school to get the most out of the experience

Let me ask around! Also if there's a Stanford MBA student you want on the podcast (that you found from LinkedIn) let me know!
Hey is the work ex necessary for Stanford MBA program......does owning a startup in your undergrad counts as work ex?
