Thank you for making this video. I’m a dentist looking to make a career switch and was rejected from every MBA program I applied to last cycle as a round 3 applicant. I was debating whether to apply again this cycle because I’m currently 29 years old and going to be 32 when finishing an MBA. How many career changers were in your MBA programs? How many were entering in their early 30s? Thanks for you and your sister’s guidance.
I’ve heard that round 3 is the most competitive round with the lowest acceptance rate! Round 1 and 2 are supposed to be “easier” to get into 😮. Many people are career pivoters at business school. And many are in their 30s!
Many MBA students are in their early 30s and many older students, such as those who were in the military, pivot to different careers!
if you have timeline it would be much easier to watch..
Working on that now!!
Added!
Could you do timestamps for different topics?
Will do that by tonight! Thank you 🎉🎉

@@cherie.brookethanks!
Thanks for sharing all the information ℹ️ especially MSX program and path
So glad it can be helpful!!
I hadn’t even heard about MSX before Cherie told me!
I love the highlights and lowlights section!!
Thank you!! We will keep it in :)
Yay, I’m glad you liked it 😇
I loved the highlights and lowlights section!; my sister and I both live on different continents so it was really heartwarming seeing you both🩷
Aww that’s so sweet!! Sending you and your sister love ❤
How beautiful!! Thank you for sharing 🥰🥰🥰
I enjoyed the “roses and thorns” section and would recommend keeping it! Thanks also for speaking on this topic. I was considering business as a pivot but wasn’t sure if age would be an issue, glad that it’s not. :)
Thank you for the feedback!! We will keep it in❤
awesome, well make “roses and thorns” a recurring feature :)
Not too late to pivot!! Just look at me after 12 years as a PM / Product Exec 😅
When I was 27.5 covid hit and by the time it ended and class went offline I was 30.5, I am now 32 Years old -Do you think is it too old for MBA ?
It depends on what your goal is. There is the MSX program at Stanford GSB that caters towards people who have more industry experience (10+ years)!
Tiger should connect her to more partners
Wait what does this mean haha
Cherie is lonely😂
It was me being vulnerable 😮
You nailing it 🎉
🎉🎉🎉
Are those vision boards I see on your wall at 4:30? 😄😄 Thanks for bringing us along, really appreciate your chill and candid attitude!
Yes they are! I love vision boarding
@@cherie.brooke would love to hear more about your vision boarding process!
Loved it!❤
So happy to hear 💓
Wow it's so contagious! To surround yourself with like minded individuals who are geared up to live to their full potential and serve others, their company itself is motivating and contagious. I'll be sitting with such people in the same room next year giving my own pitch! 🙏
Absolutely.
Oofus oh yenya oni ochi soul
Every random starting a podcast 😂
Hey Cherie I'm working on a AI clone product which would respond to all your audience just like you
There's a mehendi on your hands! Nice little surprise. Hello, from India of course! :)
My best friend had an Indian wedding 💓
The episode we've been waiting for!! Name a more iconic duo
I have been following Zach is journey, and his focus on cold emailing has just changed my approach entirely. Mystrika was a game changer for me! The detailed analytics helped me pinpoint what worked and what did not in my campaigns. Their user-friendly interface takes all the guesswork out. Plus, the ability to personalize with AI is lifesaving. Seriously, if you are thinking of stepping up your email game, give Mystrika a shot!
Zach is story is incredibly inspiring! Mystrika has been my go-to for email outreach. The warm-up pool has improved my campaign deliverability like nothing else. I love how comprehensive the analytics are, giving me insights into each send. The community around it is also fantastic, you are never short on support. If you want to elevate your cold email impact, you cannot go wrong with Mystrika.
This video had me hooked! After implementing FilterBounce is real-time verification, I noticed a huge difference in my campaign outcomes. Keeping bounces low has never been easier, especially for tricky domains. At only $10 a month, the value is undeniable. If effective outreach is on your radar, you should definitely try out FilterBounce.
Zach is journey resonates with so many of us. I started using FilterBounce to verify my leads, and let me tell you, it is been worth every penny. Having a service that keeps my bounce rate under 1% is a game changer. For just $10, it frees me up to focus on crafting my messages rather than worrying about deliverability. I highly recommend trying FilterBounce if you are serious about your email outreach!
You look like twins.
Thank you 💓
You just got you're self a new subscriber

Also, big fan of Cherie ever since I stumbled upon her reel. Stoked to see both of you and learn vicariously through your experiences! Thanks a ton, rockstars!
Thanks for being here!!
As someone who hasn’t been to a business school for an MBA, I’m curious to know what are some things that changed for you as a person? Before and after MBA - personally for you both!
Oh great question!
Let’s address this in an upcoming podcast, Cherie
As an incoming MBA student, the networking part really resonated with me. I felt the urge to “network” but I think it’s more of a genuine connection that I will make with my fellow MBA classmates! Thanks for the great insight Cherie and Jean!
Thanks for being here @mahomaho7483! Let me know what other questions you have
Thanks for your comment!! I'm so happy we were helpful 😌
One of these schools is ranked #1 and is friendly, has great weather, superb sports, and is known for its start-up culture. The other school is ranked #6 and has all the opposite qualities. Can you guess which is which?
LOL
🤔
Simply brilliant.it's for us , upcoming/aspiring candidates. Thank you 👍

Can’t wait to see you on TED
I can't wait for it to come ouuuut finally!!
I'm a new viewer. I would have enjoyed it if we had gone straight into Roelof. Didn't it really make sense to ask the interviewer questions? I came to watch Roelof and hear from him. I can see people clicking off the first 10 minutes for that reason. Weird format, but whatever works IG?
Where did u get your notebook from?
An ex girlfriend of mine held a TED Talk once. Can confirm, the preparation for these talks is impressive and a long process for all sides involved. And its worth it. The exposure, the connections with others, ... She did send me photo from an auditorium from a later TED conference, that she was invited to as a result of her talk. Saying that a nice man was holding an impressive talk on climate change. The nice man was Al Gore. 😅
Many people think that's easy but they don't know the hardwork that goes to preparation for the actual talk. Appreciate you👏❤️
Are these asian men or asian women?
Haha, great lip sync 😄😄 nice meme as well
