A drill I like to do, especially to warm up before playing: Moving your crosshair from one dummy to another (without shooting) with the goal of not overshooting your flick. If you overshoot -> slow down until you get it consitantly and then focus on speeding up again. you can switch up positions so it doesn't just become muscle memory on how to shoot these particular targets. This drill gives you a sense on how far to move your controller to reach your target. When flicking I think its generally more important to learn how to stop on your target than timing your shot while flying your crosshair over the target.
@@laii4kkkk Yes! I'm a veteran haha, I am teaching my friends how to snipe if they want to learn and call them my babino snipino's 😊 hey if you ever want to play splat together I'd love to!
honestly these are all actually really helpful, especially if you’ve just picked up the charger. i find helpful to also either practice in hero mode or just take it easy in turf, as turf really helps you train to keep an eye on a semi-unpredictable moving opponent, and it also helps with fighting different weapon classes.
Another one you can do is practicing angles greater than 90° to catch those pesky flankers off guard or to shoot at someone while swimming away. Praticing these actually saved me a few times in game. Also consider right-side peek practice, and storing a charge behind cover then swimming out of it to shoot something. Last one I like to do is closing my eyes, holding right on my stick and then spinning for a random amount of time. Then open my eyes and shoot the nearest dummy to my reticle. Helps with flick reactions.

I just kinda… muscled it in turf until I got it, then it came naturally. Also, this is coming from a blaster main, someone that commonly plays frontline. Omg thank you for making this video!!!! I’ve always been inconsistent when it comes to sniping. Also what abilities do you recommend for chargers other than Respawn Punisher and Ink Saver?
Thanks for your appreciation!! For me, object shredder is super useful!!! With this ability, you can be able to knock out a crab tank with two shots and destroy a wave breaker in just one shot!! And swim speed up plays a vital role too. I always feel that I swim slowly without it!!
Thank you so much for this video ;_; I'm a heavy splatling main wanting to learn sniping because I've done being terrified when I see an Eliter on the opposing team lol🙄when you're done with them you gotta join them 🤩🤩 I've spent a whole day practicing your tips and finally I feel I can snipe a little bit now 🥲 Do you have any tips on tracking the players movement? Especially when they're in swimming form, I don't know how to track them properly, I tried predicting the place they'll be but still so hard 🥲
Negative sens are recommended, as it’s more stabler for beginners to control!! Also, you should test your own sens in the lobby, by trying flicking shots and see which number is the most satisfying for you!
I'm actually getting better! I've made the switch to the un scoped elitres as I didn't know about charge storage, and I'm almost at c+! Thank you so much!
Sad to hear this. Maybe you need to a more comprehensive thought in battles. Try to predict where your enemies at and don’t just chase them with your charger laser.

Hi there!! For the main slots, I highly recommend swim speed up, respawn punisher and object shredder. Swim speed up is absolutely useful when you get into a risky situation, you can try to swim away and jump out ;) If you wanna know my full gears’ abilities. Please check one of my previous video called ‘eliter guide’!! I have shown my gears ability in it!! Lastly, thanks a lottt for commenting and simply liking my content!! ✨
i don't understand what flicking means. do you flick your r stick or your whole controller? i'm a bit slow at times and don't understand terms unless it's explained properly
Hey there! Flicking means moving your aim fast and hit the target, just like what I have shown in the video! Also, it’s fine and normal not to understand some specific terms in a game!! Keep playing and you will soon know more!
You can find the most suitable motion setting simply by flicking some shots in the lobby. I have never used joycons to play splatoon so I can’t give you an exact answer. I tend to use pro controller btw.
I know it’s a bit different when it comes to chargers, but do you have any tips for the bamboozler by any chance ? I picked it up maybe a month or two ago and I absolutely love it, but I still have a TON of room for improvement

@@laii4kkkk Thanks you !
Fastest click of my life lmao
The more practice the better
True
Thank u for making this video
Do scopes work? Or the normals ones better? New sub!
Thanks for subscribing!! And I have made another practice video for scopes! Pls check it out if u’re interested in!!
Thanks, i was just a master of Eliter in splatoon 1 but i didn't play to splatoon 2 so i lost a lot my level, and i often miss my shots
Oh no that’s such a bad news. Hope that these practices help you!!
I thought I was the only sniper who did the jumping one- I like how its included here :)❤
Ohhh thanks!! I think it do needs to be included!
man the squid roll one is rlly hard with the squiffer since it has one second of charge hold time
Oh really!? I don’t really use squiffer so I don’t know about this! Maybe you can just skip this drill if you use it. Anyways, thanks for mentioning!
I used to be very good at sniping in the first game but now everyone is good at the game and it makes them harder to snipe
Lolll so true!!😂 but I think sniping is easier in splat 3, just compare to my experiences in splat 2.
Thanks for your longggg feedback!!! I’ll try my best to make a video talking about that later
Thanks for the help
hi, whats your motion sensitivity and stick sensitivity? love the video btw 😊
Hi there! My sens setting is 0 / +3!!
I was a really good sniper in Splatoon 2 (in my opinion ofc)
I'm very mediocre in Splatoon 3 though, hopefully these can help me out!
Hey there!! It must be frustrating to lose the skills. I do hope this video helps!!! Good luck btw!
Hi I’m a dualise main I’m tryna use chargers to try and get further away kills
I believe you’ll make it!! Let’s gooo!
Thanks for the all helpful tips! Also what's the name of the music you used?
Thanks!! The music is Lobby 09 in the game!!!
amazing video? what sensitivity do you recommend for beginners?
Negative sens are recommended, as it’s more stabler for beginners to control!! Also, you should test your own sens in the lobby, by trying flicking shots and see which number is the most satisfying for you!
@@laii4kkkk thank you so much! I think im gonna start at -2
Keep going! Sniping is so much fun!
New to Splatoon 3, these are with motion controls right that's how I've been playing good video too
Ohh welcome to this squid world!! And yes you’re right those are with motion controls ^^ Also tysm for your appreciation!!!
Hi just wondering do you use a controller? and what sensitivity do you use
Hi there! I use switch pro controller to play and my sens setting is 0 / +3!!
im going to make sure i do this. i really want to make it to x rank but im stuck in c- lol
Hey there!! I hope you are doing well in practicing eliter!! I’m rooting for you to achieve your goal!!
I'm actually getting better! I've made the switch to the un scoped elitres as I didn't know about charge storage, and I'm almost at c+! Thank you so much!
Ooooo!! That’s super cool for real!! Keep going✨✨
I do practices like this every single day and I see very little improvement, it’s quite discouraging. I still miss most of my shots
Sad to hear this. Maybe you need to a more comprehensive thought in battles. Try to predict where your enemies at and don’t just chase them with your charger laser.
Im a stick player and chargers can be hard but ive learnee to flick and recently got 11 kills with squiffer :3
Proud of u!! Keep it uppp!!!
@@laii4kkkk OK RIGHT AFTER THIS I STARTED GETTING WAY BETTER ALONG WITH MY FRIEND WHO IS PRACTICING E-LITER I'M GETTING OVER 7 KILLS AND MORE YAYAYAYAYA
Flicking shots are amazing ain’t they😆 happy to know this btw!! U are doing good jobs fr!! Keep all the things uppp!
Could i do this if i wanna pick up squiffer as a starter charger?
Also, Lobby 9 song best song
Yea you can totally do those practices!! But just stand closer to the dummies as squiffer can’t reach a long distance as chargers and e-liter. And I wanna tell that I love Lobby 9 so much too. It’s just so unique in numerous songs.
You might not see this, but do you think this will help with scopes too? I use the Splatterscope and E-Liter 4K scoped.
I think it helps a bit too, but I have another video are for scopes!! You may want to check it out too!!
@@laii4kkkk Thank you! I will check it out as soon as I can.
Do you ever use the extra fast dummy in the offline training room for moving targets?
Hi there!! I think I have only used those one or twice :) usually I just use lobby’s dummy for practicing!!
what abilities do you recommend to put on the clothes for chargers?
What would be the preferred control scheme here? I usually play with joycons for quick motions but that seems to be my downfall with this weapon type
You can find the most suitable motion setting simply by flicking some shots in the lobby. I have never used joycons to play splatoon so I can’t give you an exact answer. I tend to use pro controller btw.
@@laii4kkkk Gotcha. Thanks for the tips and the video! Liked and subbed!
Thanks!!
I snipe dummies pretty well but can't get kills in real match. 😭
Perhaps you are just lacking confidence to snipe in real matches. Don’t worry, I used to be like you too. Just try to do your best!!
SAME! I just get soo nervous and scared xD
Take it slow. And believe in yourself!!!
How often do you usually practice your aim?
Hmmm I seldom do practices now, but I usually do a little warm up before I start matches
Thank u
I know it’s a bit different when it comes to chargers, but do you have any tips for the bamboozler by any chance ? I picked it up maybe a month or two ago and I absolutely love it, but I still have a TON of room for improvement
Yes I can!!! Bamboozler is one of my pick too!!! I would try to make one if I am free!
Your videos are very helpful. Thank you. Could you tell me your gyro and R stick settings?
Thanks! My setting is 0/ +3
