I think you (and me) might perform better with scoped charger but unscoped E-Litre because: - E-Litre's longer charge time makes the ability to store it more valuable, and the wider view you have without a scope allows you to see more of the potential targets afforded by its longer range - Splatterscope's shorter charge time makes charging less committal, so the reduced awareness isn't as bad maybe
I’m on the same boat here, out of all the four the Scoped E-liter is the hardest to master because of it’s long charge time, no charge hold, and my lack of patience makes it hard to commit to a spot long enough to make an impact.
Now as a Charger main myself I will say that there is no better Charger when it comes to scope and no-scope. It isn’t something like comparing Splash and Sploosh where as Splash is just a significantly better main weapon. For the Chargers it all just comes down to personal preference and which playstyle you enjoy the most. I myself personally like using Scopes more for their 5% extra range and zoom in. The zoom in helps me hit my shots and I enjoy the playstyle of the weapon being a lot more safer than the Unscoped variant which allows me to stay alive longer for my team. Though I play Scope mainly, I actually used to play Unscoped especially when it came to E-Liter back in Splat 2. I felt that hitting my shots with Unscoped E-Liter was just a lot easier considering how it has a longer charge time and the zoom on the Scope was slower and it kinda threw me off. Also it was really fun to get snipes off of the rail on Moray whenever it was in rotation. So in the end there is no better Charger of the two it’s just a matter of which one fits your playstyle better and which one you feel will allow you to hit your shots better.
Also, considering that Scoped Chargers have more range and the charged shots having the hidden ability of leaving slightly wider ink trails, the Special output will be more frequent than Unscoped variants
Here’s from my experience with chargers: No scope had that good charge hold mechanic and thrives off very careful and slower aim. Scope has limited visibility upon charge, but because it zooms up upon full charge it makes the hitbox feel bigger and is really convenient for sniping as soon as your charge is complete. Also scopes have the most fluid and satisfying flickshot experience. Not to mention the extra range, so Scope for me all the way!
As a Charger Main, I highly prefer un-scoped Chargers because of the mobility options and awareness. Being able to see your surroundings when charging makes it a lot easier to stay alive and get kills And I can't use Scope at all anymore 🗿
Scoped feels more like a way to ease yourself into it, even if it’s only to see the opponents better when aiming. Scoped allows you to hang back a bit and get a feel for sniping in general. Though I personally do recommend switching to unscoped once you get the hang of it and slowly try to be a bit more bold. For me, the unscoped vision is much better to have because you see more of the map, making someone sneaking up to you easier to notice. When I first started out I tried scoped to get a feel for the weapon and once I did, I immediately switched to unscoped to put what I’ve learned to the test. Also the constant zooming and unzooming of scoped chargers makes me feel a little bit nauseated. But in the end it all comes down to personal preference. I’m a Jack of all trades kind of player, I can play a lot of different weapon styles. I usually prefer front to midline weapons, but I don’t mind playing some mid to backline weapons.
I feel like the closest "objective" opinion is that unscoped E-Liter is better than scoped E-Liter, but everything else is basically down to preference
I personally play scoped because the zooming in motion helps me time the shots a lot easier, and the first person perspective can help me hit shots that normally would be very hard to hit. It’s useful to also keep moving around the map if you have the confidence because the tunnel vision you get from the scope can be exacerbated by being a statue.
For me, I find the unscope charger my style. I just like being aggro and moving all over the place, hence why I love weapons like Splat Charger, Squiffer, Goo Tuber and Reef-Lux (which yes, isn't a charger but it can be played pretty aggro). Its the only weapons I really play a bit more aggro compared to my supportive playstyle. I still like E-Liter, I'm still a fan of defensive playstyle. I like making angles for myself and making it hard for the enemy to know where I position.
I don’t know if this would be broken. But I thought it would have been cool if these scoped and un-scoped weapons were merged, and players had the ability to toggle the scope on and off during a match. Same limitations would still apply for each mode. IMO, it would add some depth to the weapons.
I've recently converted myself to using the Z+F this season. You made chargers look so sick to play so I decided to pick it up myself. Now that I have a bit of time under my belt, I prefer unscoped just because of the movement options. I tried using scope and it really throws me off, but it's all because of playstyle. Awesome video and thanks for converting me into a weapon I really love using! It can be frustrating at times to use but when I hit them shots its just *insert Emperors New Groove Patcha meme*
I absolutely can't play unscoped. And your point with the worse awareness has never been a problem for me. Splatterscope charges so quickly that it's not much of a commitment to charge up and shoot or just cancel charge by swimming. And also: I for my part aim at my next target before starting charge and while charging. And not while I have the "scoped" vision. It does seem obvious to me. And I see that being done in parts of this video... But I wanted to say this because I feel like I'm not losing awareness because of the scope at all. If I die because someone sneaked up on me then I was oblivious for longer than just the time I was looking for the scope.
As a charger main who's predominately played squiffer, for me it's unscoped all the way. Scope screws with my aim too much, probably because I've spent so much time on squiffer so I'm already very used to aiming without a scope while I'm not at all used to aiming with a scope. The lack of a charge hold doesn't fit my playstyle of being a more aggressive anchor either, especially with Zekkofin, which gives you a wall that you can be far more aggressive with. While the shorter range does suck a bit against other anchors, I've already gotten very used to that from also maining tri-stringer in this game, and jet squelcher since splatoon 1.
I have never played a scoped charger in Splatoon 3 before. And I have played for 200 hours at the time I’m making this comment. The reason is because I not the best at chargers and when I played Splatoon 2 I never won while trying a scope. But this video taught me their differences and I’m inspired to try a scope for the first time! Thanks!
The other problem with unscoped chargers is that trickshots and charge storing is very cool, but requires WAY more skill to do, so if you're a noob you're not gonna bother with them because you can't even hit anything properly as is. Scopes are friendlier towards the new players.
I play mainly scoped it helps me focus by blacking out a part of the screen . There are some tricks you can do like canceling your charge by going to squid form. For me I value the extra range a lot more .
I enjoy playing chargers, although I'm still working on my consistency, but unscoped fits my play style much better. I love being able to hold a charge and be able to move around and see what's going on. Also, my aim suffers when I play scoped. I've tried several times, but I'll be lucky to get just one splat whereas with unscoped I can frequently get 7+ splars in a game of turf wars
I have been maining Z+F Splatterscope a lot lately. I hard agree both have pros and cons. With the scope, you have to learn how to charge up till you hear the audible cue that it is fully charged, and then flick shoot. Hard scoping in this game is usually a guarantee that you are going to get splatted. I am definitely struggling with unscoped at the moment. Feels so weird to me.
As a charger main I just think it’s more about personal preference, I’m playing with unscoped pretty much since I picked up a charger (in splatoon 3). I do like extra “Range” you get especially because you can hit shots that aren’t normally really hard to hit.But I still prefer the unscoped one just because I like the chargehold so much, plus I don’t like the vulnerability you get with it (when enemies come to close I can splat them easier with no scope) And I usually like to move more around while playing E-liter, because i can hit shots that I couldn’t hit with scope, (having fast reflexes when an enemy is attacking you) I think both have their pros and cons, but it’s really just personal preference
I really like playing aggressively and moving around when I play Splatoon so I’ve always loved unscoped chargers and what you can do with stored charges. It’s also why I love playing Nautilus as well.
To me, mobility and a wider field of view is better than a little extra range. There have been so many times where if I had been using a scope I would have died cause I couldn't back up away from another player rushing me down _and_ shoot back for the kill. I like being able to see what coming more consistently and I can still play the way a scoped charger does. In short: more defensive and offensive options > more range and "accuracy"
As a charger main I'm proud to have reached a point where I feel equally as comfortable with scoped and unscoped. I can say at this moment I think I prefer Splatterscopes to Splat Chargers but I prefer the unscoped E-Liter over the scoped variant. My reasoning is this. The Splatterscopes are more mobile than the E-Liter and they charge up way faster. That extra 5% range I have found makes it so I can better contest E-Liters if they show up in the lobby much better than if I am using the unscoped Splat Charger. Also, the extra range means I can position more similarly to an E-Liter (My main of mains). The E-Liter however is a lot slower in every aspect. It moves slower and charges slower. I appreciate no scope on E-Liter because when you are in the scope, it limits your situational awareness, you can't see as much. For Splatterscopes I find this less of an issue since the charge time is so quick and I aim before the shot charges up fully, so my limited awareness isn't present for long. This isn't as true with the E-Liter scope, there is more time where I am handicapped. Also because the E-Liter is slower in movement and charge, I think it benefits more from charge holding than Splat Chargers do. If I have to reposition with a Splatterscope, whoop-de-doo, it charges fast. If I have to do it with an E-Liter, thats a 2 second charge time. I need to hold it while I move. So thats it for me, Splatterscopes and unscoped E-Liter
Was not expecting to hear Rayman Arena music rocking the place! What a pleasant surprise. Honestly, I've always been bad at precise aiming in any shooter (not that I've practiced a whole lot). But something about the movement in this game gives me a new appreciation for what this weapon class offers. Might pick up more of it in the future.
I don’t play chargers that much, but I like no scope better because I can see somebody trying to sneak up and splat me, then I snipe them, plus I just like the cool shots I can do.
I appreciate you saying that it depends on preference. Going all the way back to your videos about gear builds and having "mains" this game has so many options the answer is always "whatever works for you"
So according to Tikotan (top jp charger) Splatterscope > unscoped charger unscoped liter > scoped liter The unscoped liter gets way way more value from the charge keep then the regular splat charger considering its long downtime.
still i agree with this personally but dont go with what pros say cuz thats what is best for them play what u want and what u find better there are still great eliter scope mains and unscoped charger mains
As a sniper main, i also prefer using the scoped version for splattershot, but unscoped for e-liter. The 5% extra range for splattershot feels more important than e-liter, since e-liter is already the weapon with the highest range in the game. Splattershot on its side benefits more of this extra range than e-liter.
Personally for me, I go No Scope on Splat Charger, and Scoped on E-Liter. Namely due to their operational ranges. E-Liter is longer ranged, so having the extra zoom to be more accurate is nice. I will say a small tip I do on Scoped Charger is before you scope in, you have more mobility and stealth compared to an Unscoped Charger. Reason: an Unscoped charger will be moving while the charge is stored, or with the laser visible. By taking your time with a scoped charger, you keep the mobility and awareness of Unscoped, with a bonus of stealth since you aren’t charging yet. Patience is key, slow is smooth, smooth is fast!
Perfect, I was hoping for something like this. I am currently one-staring all the weapons to get all them weapon tickets before the next season. And Chargers is next on the list. I am prepared to be a front line sniper . . . .with all of the chargers.
I main chargers and can use both scoped/unscoped pretty well. Though my preference would lean more towards scoped chargers because I feel it’s much easier for me to quick scope the enemy players
I personally prefer scoped because it gives you the option to not commit to a shot. The issue of limited sight isn't an issue because if you think someone is there you can cancel it with squid form. But with unscoped it is a lot more jumping from safety and more difficult to hit those long shots. When fighting other nonscoped chargers I often find it easy because they have to do a whole song and dance to take one shot when I just have to wait and run to get a splat from across the map.
I did find that the E-Liter 4k Scope was harder to aim than all of the other chargers. I had to turn my sensitivity from 0 to -1 just to be able to hit things. I think this is due to it being a bit harder to hold steady at its high magnification. Granted, I'm not an experienced charger user; I really only played them all for the first time (outside of Salmon Run) recently when I 1-starred all of my weapons (and saved Chargers for last, because I was dreading them). . For me, charge time was a more important factor than scoped or unscoped, so in the end I found I preferred the Splat Charger / Splatterscope over the E-Liters and was glad to sacrifice the range for the faster charge time. Of course, I still have a long way to go with improving my aim, so part of that is that missing a shot with an E-liter hurts so much more than missing a shot with a Splat Charger. This combined with the scoped E-liter being harder to aim means that when it comes to 4- or 5-starring a charger, for me it's probably going to be the Vanilla Splat Charger and/or Splatterscope.
I feel like some people may just have S1 bias bc they're used to scoped chargers bc they were strictly better (which is fine, it's just what they're used to)
i find using a scope easier for stick controls when you need that added precision. No scope works well with motion controls when you can move your camera freely.
I play both scope and unscope but I’m more into using scope Chargers cause my aim feels more accurate when I play with it and I’m more of a passive charger player than aggressive. when I use scope I use my map more than ever just so I can be more aware of where the enemy team is because of the less vision scope gives to me.
i’m personally much better with scope charger and e-litre because i’ve practiced a lot more with them than the unscooped versions. i simply find scopes more fun and the adrenaline rush that comes with using them. but i will admit , i do like holding my charge so i’ll switch it up every once in a while.
I forcibly have made myself an elite e-liter, and can use both scoped and unscoped liter with relative succession per game. Ive devoted far to much time into e-liter 😅
Ive been thinking about exploring the charger class outside of my mains. Last time I played scope I didn’t like it so I play unscoped. I prefer the mobility of unscoped chargers and the squiffer. However, some maps I struggle in like Undertow, the extra range seems better to have. Might test some scoped chargers in turf someday for fun, but I’ll always be an unscoped main. It fits my playstyle better.
i like unscoped splatcharger. i like being more active and mobile. i struggle a bit with hanging back because most other weapons i use have a much shorter range and im usually more at the frontlines instead of hanging back. im just used to being in the middle of things so even when i have a weapon with more range i like the option of doing that and having more mobilty (and the splatbomb. we can not underestimate the importance of the splatbomb) so im able to take a more active role. its high-risk high-reward. when it goes wrong it goes wrong spectacularly and i need to adjust but when it goes right MAN does it feel good lmaoooo (of course this is all just my own personal preference. ive seen plenty of chargers with scope take active roles and totally kick my ass and I'd love to be able to do that too but scope just gives me too much of a tunnel vision)
As someone who mains Splatterscope there are definitely times when I wish I could store the charge, but I can't snipe without a scope of some kind in any game. It's definitely a trade-off of between comfort and utility, but also get the benefit of range to offset the otherwise clear statistical advantage of going scopeless. Also rip my hopes for a scoped Snipewriter, can't play that thing at all :(.
As a charger main, I ask myself these two questions when I'm deciding between scoped and unscoped: Am I going to play aggressively or passively? How does my aim feel today? (This may take a match or two to decide).
I ust hit my snipes better with Scoped. Splatoon doesnt have alot of moments where the gameplay transitions to a first person shooter, which I grew up on. So the fps switch when scoped in is just natural
I personally prefer unscoped over scoped chargers because of the added movement, I mostly play scoped when I have days where I can’t really aim well, I switch to scope and bam, (most of the time) I‘m back on top of my game
Personally, as a newer charger main, i've found i play better with scoped than unscoped. i originally started using unscoped eliter (on sticks) (gross right?) in the weeks leading to the splat 3 test-fire. during the testfire i mainly used dynamo but did use liter a bit and really enjoyed it. (Splat 3 is the first game i played with motion controls) and once the game actually released i started to push my useage of eliter. one day i decided to try scoped and got many more splats with it. Seems scoped chargers are my better charger, but i am now able to swap between both scopes and non-scopes. I do find it awkward getting flanked as a scope bacause 9 times out of 10 you don't see it coming, but when you get full charge snipes at point-blank range with a scope, it feels amazing in total truth. So basically, i like both variants of the long-range chargers
Imo i think they’re both equal, they’re just based on skill. Im good with 4k scope but not as much with 4k but im better with splat charger than splat charger scope (basically the vise versa of u)
I feel unscoped is a little better, because of the movement. Range is nothing if you can close the gap, and you can squid jump to have full height with the charge hold.
To me, unscoped is just better not bc it has better stuff but it just allows me to play the game how I wanna play it! I actually WANT to be active with my Charger, i dont like standing around on a snipe all the time and sometime I just wanna use the cool movement options I have to really strike fear into anyone that dares cross my sightline. I wanna surprise people with squidroll and squid surge shots from no where and no chargers do it better than the unscoped varients! That, is what I define as the better one, the one that let's YOU play the way YOU want to!
This makes me wonder what Snipewriter wouldve been like with a scoped variant. A scoped version wouldn't have the same problems in regards to not holding a charge (because it cant) but being stuck in the scoped mode for 5 shots might be enough of a disadvantage to make up for the extra range?
The snipewriter is supposed to be a very mobile charger. Scope wouldn't make sense because it'd kill most of its mobility. Anyway, charge holding is a lot more worth it than the five shots when it comes to mobility, hence why people use any other charger over snipewriter. Also the kit is awful..
@@neon_quest Scope wouldn't effect mobility because it cant charge hold and you're using Run Speed Up anyway. the drawback would be that you're stuck in Scoped mode for 5 shots or you loose them by going in ink. Not saying they should add a scope ver. i'd just be interesting. the biggest problem with Snipewriter is it has piss poor object damage for a Charger in a Splatling costume.
I love the ability of being able to hold a charge for unscoped chargers, jumping off somewhere/squid rolling and getting a kill midair makes me feel too cool to give it up lol
i prefer the scoped variant. i play safe from my side of the map, defending it from anyone who would try to infiltrate (although i'm a Tri-Stringer main). a scoped Charger may have less awareness and mobility, but the playstyle one must adopt is what balances it out. the extra 5% range is a necessity, given the playstyle. how i played the E-liter 4K (Scope) was find a perch and snipe... what i failed to consider was the location of my perch, which could be reached by anyone. should i pick up the Z+F Splatterscope, i'll have to remember this (when i return. i just got back to Monster Hunter after 2 months or more). if a no-scope Charger got that extra range, mixed with better mobility and greater awarenwss, then the weapon would be OP and unfair.
Ive always thought of it on a map/mode basis. If the map tends to favour chargers, ill often pick a scope to have an edge on unscoped users, and if its unfavoured (a rarity these days, i know) ill pick an unscoped to make dealing with flanks easier.
Im lowkey kinda late, but before i discovered splatoon, i used to play Fortnite and I used those scoped snipers a lot ‼️ that’s why i am better with the scoped ones, and I definitely recommend them :)
NoScope Pros: Charge hold, excellent peripheral, ideal for slower aim adjustments Scope Pros: Extended range, satisfying scope effect, great for fluid aim, ideal for quick release shots. What I prefer and why: Scope Why: Prefers to be a heavy anchor, though constantly changing positioning across the backline I do a lot of surprise peeking which is best done with scoped variants. I enjoy zoom in effect. What you should use: No scope for a minimally more aggressive approach. Scope for a more determined backline position.
not a sniper main but I'd say GENERALLY SPEAKING unscoped is better but it is very close and also map dependent. If you have a history uses scoped rifles in other FPS games it's gonna probably be a better weapon than a no-scope
Since I've been able to handle the No Scope Charger better for a long time C: I'm more for No Scope! but for everyone it's different so XD BTW GREAT START OF THE DAY TO WATCH A VIDEO BY DUDE!! Love ur vids sm Dude! XD
I find it impressive that the devs managed to balance these options so well. Too many multiplayer games (including Splatoon 3) have too many things that are overall superior/inferior when they should be balanced. Scope vs. unscoped is a great example of a tradeoff being done right. Also: snipewriter scope when?
I say that Scoped chargers are better for beginner charger players because they actually DO help you aim (like if ur aiming under a wall for example, it's easier to do with a scope and I've heard COUNTLESS charger players say that) and it helps you learn good positions and stuff For more experienced charger players, i think the unscoped is better because you can be more mobile if needed, kill players that are coming from behind you,, you can hit trickshots, you'd be more aware so the range won't be a huge issue, ect ect ect.
i love how much movement i can do with no scopes since I at least feel like I'm doing, something. other then standing in my safe spot all the time. HOWEVER I have never tried the scoped variant and I should just for the fun of it. opinion wise I think they are equally as good, just depends on your preferences >w
I think you (and me) might perform better with scoped charger but unscoped E-Litre because:
- E-Litre's longer charge time makes the ability to store it more valuable, and the wider view you have without a scope allows you to see more of the potential targets afforded by its longer range
- Splatterscope's shorter charge time makes charging less committal, so the reduced awareness isn't as bad

Same!
Here the same with normal scope 10 splats avarage and with e liter unscope also 10 splats 😅
I can barely play chargers as it is 😅 but I struggle so much more with scope for some reason so I'm team no scope all the way!
I’m the opposite lol, I’m usually better with scope
Oh welp I'm both
I'm none
Same

Hard scoping in this game is usually a guarantee that you are going to get splatted. I am definitely struggling with unscoped at the moment. Feels so weird to me.
ive mainer charher since splatoon 1 and i am team no scope! my fav charger is eliter and im currently grinding for 5 star
I like scope it just feels so clean and smooth
Dude plays a splat charger like it's a front line weapon and still slays 😎
You summed it up perfectly. It feels like one is easily better but they're both so good
Was not expecting to hear Rayman Arena music rocking the place!
Scope: range, higher distsnce clarity
No scope: Less blind spot, more mobility with stored charge easier to use and funny 360 no scope clips
I’ve decided to learn chargers, and I’m using scope for the first leg of learning, abilities and stuff, and switch when I’m more comfortable.
I appreciate you saying that it depends on preference. Going all the way back to your videos about gear builds and having "mains" this game has so many options the answer is always "whatever works for you"
So according to Tikotan (top jp charger)
Splatterscope > unscoped charger
unscoped liter > scoped liter
The unscoped liter gets way way more value from the charge keep then the regular splat charger considering its long downtime.
still i agree with this personally but dont go with what pros say cuz thats what is best for them play what u want and what u find better there are still great eliter scope mains and unscoped charger mains
@@KM-wy6yh your right. its mainly about what you enjoy playing.
We need goo tuber scoped. Give it both scope and charge hold.
Epic video. Personally I would use no scope just because of the vast amount of options it has over scoped
Perfect, I was hoping for something like this. I am currently one-staring all the weapons to get all them weapon tickets before the next season. And Chargers is next on the list.
I am prepared to be a front line sniper . . . .with all of the chargers.
I cant use chargers to save my life but I seem to hit more shots with Scope, and by more shots I mean any shots at all
I personally find scope to be good for me since the added rage lets me take safer positions and the scope help me take better shots in my opinion
Don't need a scope when every map is one hallway leading into mid with massive sight lines and thin poles that "reduce backliner presence".
I main chargers and can use both scoped/unscoped pretty well. Though my preference would lean more towards scoped chargers because I feel it’s much easier for me to quick scope the enemy players
You're just a GOD at this. Hope to be half as good as you w my non scope
I love your videos so much :) 🧡
thanks! 😇
This really helps me as a charger main
No scope works well with motion controls when you can move your camera freely.
unscope feels just so smooth for me but scoped is a little hard depending on how you aim or what you do
I play both scope and unscope but I’m more into using scope Chargers cause my aim feels more accurate when I play with it and I’m more of a passive charger player than aggressive. when I use scope I use my map more than ever just so I can be more aware of where the enemy team is because of the less vision scope gives to me.
i’m personally much better with scope charger and e-litre because i’ve practiced a lot more with them than the unscooped versions. i simply find scopes more fun and the adrenaline rush that comes with using them. but i will admit , i do like holding my charge so i’ll switch it up every once in a while.
Picked up a charger last night, and I definitely prefer scope chargers
i like unscoped splatcharger. i like being more active and mobile. i struggle a bit with hanging back because most other weapons i use have a much shorter range and im usually more at the frontlines instead of hanging back. im just used to being in the middle of things so even when i have a weapon with more range i like the option of doing that and having more mobilty (and the splatbomb. we can not underestimate the importance of the splatbomb) so im able to take a more active role. its high-risk high-reward. when it goes wrong it goes wrong spectacularly and i need to adjust but when it goes right MAN does it feel good lmaoooo (of course this is all just my own personal preference. ive seen plenty of chargers with scope take active roles and totally kick my ass and I'd love to be able to do that too but scope just gives me too much of a tunnel vision)
As a charger main, I ask myself these two questions when I'm deciding between scoped and unscoped:
Am I going to play aggressively or passively?
How does my aim feel today? (This may take a match or two to decide).
I ust hit my snipes better with Scoped. Splatoon doesnt have alot of moments where the gameplay transitions to a first person shooter, which I grew up on. So the fps switch when scoped in is just natural
we need a scoped bamboo
I would like to see the ability to just take off/put on the scope for both e liter and splat chargers
I personally prefer unscoped over scoped chargers because of the added movement, I mostly play scoped when I have days where I can’t really aim well, I switch to scope and bam, (most of the time) I‘m back on top of my game
8:32 LOL why is the thread i made under power still there
I'm waiting for a good Charger kit. The current kits aren't awful but I want something with a good bomb and a good special.
I remember back in the Team Olive days, Brian used Scoped more often than regular charger. I like Scoped because the timing feels like a Rhythm.
Exactly, very fluid and releasing shots becomes a flow
From past games my experience with snipers has been with scopes, im so attached I use scope in splatoon but I know No scope has better potential
Not saying they should add a scope ver. i'd just be interesting. the biggest problem with Snipewriter is it has piss poor object damage for a Charger in a Splatling costume.
if im playing in tabletop mode, im using scoped chargers
if im using a tv to play, then im using unscoped chargers
"JuSt UsE tHe OnE tHaT fItS yOuR pLaYsTyLe" calling it right now.
No scope is just better in every way. But scope is better for a very certain type of players
seeing all these chargers mains in one place makes my stomach sick, i can only imagine the smell of yall.
So nice of you to join us!
Stay long enough and you'll become nose blind, I promise.
Off topic but I didn’t recognize that background music from rayman arena lol
To scope or not to scope, that is the question
No score for me. But I would love to get great w scope. I'll try the splatterscope and use my eliter24k nonscope.
NoScope
Pros: Charge hold, excellent peripheral, ideal for slower aim adjustments
Scope
Pros: Extended range, satisfying scope effect, great for fluid aim, ideal for quick release shots.
What I prefer and why: Scope
Why: Prefers to be a heavy anchor, though constantly changing positioning across the backline I do a lot of surprise peeking which is best done with scoped variants. I enjoy zoom in effect.
What you should use:
No scope for a minimally more aggressive approach. Scope for a more determined backline position.
I like both but usually use scoped because the tunnel vision and 5% more range makes it fun for me
As a e-liter and zekko fin charger main I’m better off with non-scope but if u r reading this use whatever u want
not a sniper main but I'd say GENERALLY SPEAKING unscoped is better but it is very close and also map dependent. If you have a history uses scoped rifles in other FPS games it's gonna probably be a better weapon than a no-scope
Since I've been able to handle the No Scope Charger better for a long time C: I'm more for No Scope!
but for everyone it's different so XD
BTW GREAT START OF THE DAY TO WATCH A VIDEO BY DUDE!! Love ur vids sm Dude! XD
Now all I need to do is try and aim with the Chargers
when you play squiffer so you don’t even get the option
I feel unscoped is better most of the time. But scoped has a few maps where it can hit more places.
For some reason I thought a scoped charger charges quicker than unscoped
I use scoped because I can focus on less and focus on shooting and it is just less so it is smaller JUST IT IS SMALLER SO I CAN FOCUS MORE ON SHOOTING
I find it impressive that the devs managed to balance these options so well. Too many multiplayer games (including Splatoon 3) have too many things that are overall superior/inferior when they should be balanced. Scope vs. unscoped is a great example of a tradeoff being done right.
Also: snipewriter scope when?
2:25 Holy shit Undertale as *Undertale with the monsters like Sans*
I'm joking of course
I say that Scoped chargers are better for beginner charger players because they actually DO help you aim (like if ur aiming under a wall for example, it's easier to do with a scope and I've heard COUNTLESS charger players say that) and it helps you learn good positions and stuff
For more experienced charger players, i think the unscoped is better because you can be more mobile if needed, kill players that are coming from behind you,, you can hit trickshots, you'd be more aware so the range won't be a huge issue, ect ect ect.
A scoped Goo Tuber with the charge hold of a normal charger might either be the greatest thing ever or the worst weapon in the game, maybe both.
I prefer using scoped chargers personally
i love how much movement i can do with no scopes since I at least feel like I'm doing, something. other then standing in my safe spot all the time. HOWEVER I have never tried the scoped variant and I should just for the fun of it. opinion wise I think they are equally as good, just depends on your preferences >w
I use scope with splat charger, but not with E-Liter
