I think the best I got this event is like one 4 or 5 game streak, and I'm pretty sure it was due to luck cause 1 or 2 people would leave after every match. In hindsight, the people who would want more courage are probably the players with performance anxiety.

People are saying that it seems like Power's going to win and Wisdom and Courage are battling it out for second. But based on how I've seen the teams playing, I think Wisdom deserves to win it all. This is coming from a Team Courage player. Courage is trash and I haven't seen a lot of Power teams do much better than us. But, there are so many Wisdom teams that are just full of killers, man. It's so scary how skilled a lot of them are. I'm more suspicious of Power doing the rigging, this splatfest.
I don't think team courage is cheating, I think that people on my team are getting upset because of how many 333x's and 100x team wisdom and power have been winning, literally every match against team wisdom has been a loss with me and it feels unfair that team wisdom keeps winning over and over, but in the end of the day it's just a game and to me it won't matter who wins because I had lots of fun : )
I'm on team courage and I haven't had a single game with a disconnect on either team. I guess i'm just lucky but I regret picking team courage now that I know fellow team courage members have been intentionally disconnecting in games.

I was playing some tri color battles as team courage losing as defenders to team power, so I quickly hacked the netcode to make them both disconnect. The rest of the game was a 4v2 and we won with like 70% (in all seriousness, I had a game where team power was teleporting all around the place and right around the 1:30 minute mark they both disconnected, which was pretty convenient because they had already gotten a mega sprinkler.)

I'm usually a Team Shiver person, and it would have been the right time for me to be in it, but I couldn't betray my place with Link. I was on a Courage vs Wisdom x100 battle and we were winning until wisdom team started dropping out due to disconnect, I was so livid. I know it was them because two dropped out one after another before it ended the match. Doesn't matter in the end, team power somehow beat everyone in every category.
Team Courage here because it’s such a lovely shade of green. And I had a handful of disconnect wins and losses. Seemed like the same rate I’ve experienced before.
Even in tricolor, as a team power member, I saw team wisdom disconnect a couple times. The wisdom gives you the ability to see the problem, but you lacked the power to stop it.
DUDE, I just wanted to say that you are an amazing Splatoon player. Watching your videos helped me get through my multiple tumor surgeries. Even when life was tough, your cheerful attitude was so contagious, and that means a lot. I want to say thank you for all you do, and keep it up!
Team Wisdom here! I can also confirm on my end that something is wrong with disconnecting relating to team courage. I also only had 2 10× battles, lost one, won the other both being against courage. Not too surprised as 80% of my encounters were against courage anyway. Won more than half of the battles too!
Even tho I was in team courage, I don't really expect us to win at all lol since I barely see any 10x win from our team. So might as well be braindead as much as possible

I've lost almost every match because I'm the only one trying to push while my whole team is clumped together in one spot. Its extremely annoying. I chose courage because I want more courage to do things and also I like Link. Tricolor has been slightly better but open and pro were hellish.

I had a team wisdom have 3 out of 4 of their team disconnect. That was highly unusual and suspicious because at _most_ 2 get disconnected and we get booted from the game. Its not too often the two disconnects are on the same team.
I'm on power, I've had 2 games in a row where an opponent disconnected at around the 1 minute mark and both times we all got kicked out because "A player left early on", but then I had a game where a player disconnected from OUR team BEFORE the 1 minute mark and then another one like 30 seconds later, and the game just kept going as if nothing lmfao. We still won it somehow cause the other team had 2 aerosprays but like, come on. When the other team has less players, the whole match is cancelled and counted as a tie, but when our team has less players it just keeps going?
I was on team Wisdom as well and can confirm Courage was the worst team ever to play against because they did keep dropping out and preventing Wisdom from getting those wins and wasting both teams times. That's probably because of lower-levelled players getting burnt out from constantly getting destroyed by top 500 pros in Open because that's where the majority vote lies, myself included (didn't help that I was subjecting myself to only using a Wiper with a cobbled-together Link cosplay...)
Splatfest in splatoon 3 are 3 teams of which people prefer what is more likable for them, for example, people prefer vanilla over mint chip and strawberry, people prefer power over courage and wisdom, it's what people like, it's not like nogami "downloads" over 1 million people to vote for shiver making her win. This is a game, and if you're gonna be mad over a blue octoling winning 5 times in a row. Grow up man, sadder times are gonna come.
It's hard to attack for defenders, but at the same time its so unbelievably easy to defend that you have no reason to attack ever. If you keep control of the hill all game you win so easily.
It's basically impossible to win for the attacking teams. All you have to do is stand on the hill, with permanent high ground advantage, cover the middle and you win instantly. The attackers have to approach from low ground, with no cover, and through uninkable terrain, it's just awful.
@@babywizard9027 It wouldn't be so bad if they at least had an equal number of players. It would be way easier to both seize the hill and hold onto it with a numbers advantage rather than constantly being at a disadvantage.

Some guys in Courage are really stupid. We're doing Tri battle, Power and Courage on offense, Wisdom on defense. Idiots in Courage shooting only Power and not Wisdom, while Power trying to fight Wisdom, making the fight effectively 6v2 against power. Of course Wisdom wins. Please, players, if you're on offense, DON'T SHOOT THE TEAM HELPING YOU, SHOOT THE TEAM THAT HAS 4 PEOPLE. Jeesh.
Team Courage here, I'm also in the UK too. I did notice we had more DC's then usual compared to other Fests but I thought maybe it was my internet (my location is remote and I have the best for my area), maybe not. I counted a total of 11 DC's for Courage, 6 for Wisdom and 1 for Power. I played a good amount from both Teams, no Mirror matches, bar one in Tri Colour. The Team Power clean sweep was a surprise but it is what it is. Sorry you had this experience, I played with some amazing Teams, I promise we weren't all bad if this is the case.

I was in courage and had the same thing happen but instead wisdom did it. Definitely more popular with courage which is why I don’t really like being associated with them.

I am courage and lost a 10x because I get 14 kills and 2000 turf and teammates struggle to get 2 kills and 400 turf

Team courage had some not so good players on the first day of the fest but later in the day they all of a sudden became godlike. So I think I might have to be on your side for this one
That's probably because of lower-levelled players getting burnt out from constantly getting destroyed by top 500 pros in Open because that's where the majority vote lies, myself included

Splatfest in splatoon 3 are 3 teams of which people prefer what is more likable for them, for example, people prefer vanilla over mint chip and strawberry, people prefer power over courage and wisdom, it's what people like, it's not like nogami "downloads" over 1 million people to vote for shiver making her win. This is a game, and if you're gonna be mad over a blue octoling winning 5 times in a row. Grow up man, sadder times are gonna come.

The only bad thing about the splatfest is the Zelda map, for how small and hard it is to attack for the defending team

It's hard to attack for defenders, but at the same time its so unbelievably easy to defend that you have no reason to attack ever. If you keep control of the hill all game you win so easily.
I actually feel like it is harder to attack then defend on the Zelda map.
It's basically impossible to win for the attacking teams.
All you have to do is stand on the hill, with permanent high ground advantage, cover the middle and you win instantly.
The attackers have to approach from low ground, with no cover, and through uninkable terrain, it's just awful.
@@babywizard9027 It wouldn't be so bad if they at least had an equal number of players. It would be way easier to both seize the hill and hold onto it with a numbers advantage rather than constantly being at a disadvantage.

Some guys in Courage are really stupid. We're doing Tri battle, Power and Courage on offense, Wisdom on defense. Idiots in Courage shooting only Power and not Wisdom, while Power trying to fight Wisdom, making the fight effectively 6v2 against power. Of course Wisdom wins. Please, players, if you're on offense, DON'T SHOOT THE TEAM HELPING YOU, SHOOT THE TEAM THAT HAS 4 PEOPLE. Jeesh.

Team Courage here, I'm also in the UK too. I did notice we had more DC's then usual compared to other Fests but I thought maybe it was my internet (my location is remote and I have the best for my area), maybe not. I counted a total of 11 DC's for Courage, 6 for Wisdom and 1 for Power. I played a good amount from both Teams, no Mirror matches, bar one in Tri Colour. The Team Power clean sweep was a surprise but it is what it is. Sorry you had this experience, I played with some amazing Teams, I promise we weren't all bad if this is the case.
