Fire’s Not Always That Scary {Dabi} [My Hero Academia AMV/ASMV]

- With Overhaul now out of the anime, Dabi is back to being number one villain. Unfortunately, we've only had a couple of new scenes of Dabi this season, but the hype for him and the future of his character stays strong. Small tribute video- as usual including elements of Dabi being Touya Todoroki (son of Endeavor and brother of Shoto) since it's pretty much undeniable at this point. Since I started to run out of clips towards the end, I mashed together some scenes to try and portray a little Dabi vs Shoto fight- which is probably the most anticipated fight of the series. Not to mention the Dabi vs Hawks fight coming in the next chapter of the manga!

@@Kaiser_MHA basicly almost everybody uses this for him XD. He is only character from bnha about who most of People agree which song fits him, unlike like Tomura, Overhaul or Toga which have many different songs.

In a recent chapter Dabi did reveal his identity to Hawks but it was blacked out- meaning it’s going to come up reasonably soon. I think it was 266 or around there.
It was just confirmed in chapter 290

I actually was using that song for a Naruto ASMV a while ago but my computer crashed and I lost it 😕 (the unfinished version appears in my Project Reel video)
Since then I’ve been too bummed out to try using it again because I was so happy with what I had been working on. That was quite a few years ago now so I’m sure I’ll revisit the song again- it’s one I’d definitely like to use for a finished video!
This was the first time I heard his voice and I love it I personally like it better than Shoto’s

I typically use dub for My Hero Academia since I watch it in English with my nephew, plus the majority of videos out there are in sub whilst there aren’t many for those who might like the dub to enjoy. Nearly all of the episodes I have to edit are also in dub already. This video also used audio from a fan dubbed comic (the ‘fire isn’t always that scary line’ which was in English- that line doesn’t exist in Japanese).
That being said, the sub is easier to work with and edit and some of the voices I do prefer. Although I’ll continue using the dub, I do plan to do videos in sub as well. As an example- I am currently editing a Shigaraki video which will be using the Japanese (since I’m not a fan of his English voice and it doesn’t mix well with audio editing).
To sum up, I will be using both in future. Some videos will use the dub and some will use the Japanese! My next video (Shigaraki) will be in the Japanese so I hope you’ll enjoy!
Ah. Understandable. I never knew that line wasn’t in the Japanese version. Sorry for the misunderstanding- i should probably do more research before saying stuff like that. Have a good day/night and again, this piece of work was very entertaining.
