Lions being on the mountain makes sense to me because they could be mountain lions but what i don’t get is why Rafiki is chilling in the snow 😭😭 If Mufassa is an orphaned cub then that means Scar is the true king. Backstory confirmed 👍 Also i think the fact that he is orphaned sort of defies the point of his talk with simba (about the kings of the past watching down from the stars.) idk it just seems a bit off for me
i believe the real reason scar becomes scar is because of sarabi, my theory is a rival male killed off mufasa's adopted family(scars biofamily) The rival male banishes both scar and mufasa because only one male can be a real leader. Mufasa and scar have adventure with eachother and seek out and find "pride rock" they promise eachother they would cowork in this heir and thrive together, All they need is lionnesses, Scar and mufasa sneak back and convince some lionnesses too come with them to this better promised land, the lionesses being zira, sarabi and nala's mother and another unnamed lion. Scar and sarabi where young lovers in their cub days maybe, and when sarabi saw mufasa a little more grown she shifted back wanting mufasa instead this distanced mufasa and scar;s relationship and scar probably outbursts the thought of sharing heir with mufasa, they fight it out but scar loses also gaining his scar and his name. Without mufasa knowing scar runs back to his orginal pride and tells the head lion of the land him and mufasa found, the new heir too scar's original pride agree's he'll kill mufasa and split the territory with scar. Scar takes this pride back too pride rocks, where mufasa and the this lion fight too the death, mufasa wins so now he is correctly the new heir blood born or not, now he HAS too be the king because he killed another king which gives him almost the role of heir. Zira is one of the lion's who still disagree's that mufasa is the rightful king, as she's known scar all her life and was born when scar's father ruled their pride, other lion's agree as well, those who don't agree left the pridelands, mufasa had warned them if they are willing too leave they cannot come back, some of these lion's words effects mufasa's mind feeling bad for his adopted brother, he allowed scar to stay, Telling him if he doesn't have a cub(simba) or has nobody as an heir scar can take over. Also going back to lion king 2019 Scar says “I was first in line, or don’t you remember - that was until the precious prince arrived” Is it possible he is talking about Mufassa arriving to the pride lands as a cub instead of Simbas birth? In the cartoon he specifies that the prince was born but in the live action they don’t mention birth at all. Then at the end he tells Simba “this is my kingdom, my destiny” which if this is true, Scar was right all along
