Been running this light since October. It's amazing. I have two on my 75 gallon and it's bright, has a good temperature, and the plants are thriving. I recommend it to everyone.
Great deal. Got one today after spending too much at Petco on short lights. These work so well I saw things I didn't see with the expensive Petco light.
Hey Bob this brand of light is what I have on almost all my tanks,I use the the smaller ones 18" and 24" and my plants grow great! Mine only have 1 strip though so yours will grow great. Looks good.✌🌿
If so what I did was make my own lid out of a plastic tub lid and drilled the light attachments onto to underside then just pressed the light into place works great not the best looking but im satisfied with the plant growth
I built my first rack this weekend and the 3200 lumen works great, did exactly the same as yours though mine mounts a bit closer. The 3200 lumen doesn’t have a pull chain so I’ve hooked it up to a timer I got on sale at Dirt Cheap for $4.
How are they working? I'm looking at upgrading my cheapo shop light on my 60g. I want medium light, but I dont know if I can get it from lights other than dedicated aquarium lights... What kind of plants do you grow, and are they doing well?
I bought this light about a week ago. So are the people and you still using these light and are they really that good for plants and the fish. I have a 125 g tank that is 6 ft long.
I been using these on tank bro!! 3500k so they're only good for green plants... But they're damn bright man 16$.... Can't beat it. There are also 10$ hypertough lights at Walmart. They are much better for plants. You can actually get some reds out of them. They're 24"
I'm interested in the turquoise rainbow fish. How much and haw many do you have. I tried to go the email address several times. Could not get to your buying site.
I was wondering if the shop light is still working since it has been about 3 yrs since you posted. I want a light that will last a few years instead of just a few months. Thank you.
One thing ive learned is they do not like water or moisture at all. If i set them on the tank they always fail after a few months. When raised off the tank they seem to last a long time.
Thanks for the info... can we place these on an aquarium hood without hooking to the ceiling? Would it be too hot for the glass/plastic Is it easy to replace the leds if it konks out? Ty
As soon as a I see the word “cheap” in the title, I tune out. Why do freshwater hobbyists always have to cheap out? It’s like reef people are rich and freshwater are poor.
When I have a bunch of racks that need lit and "Aquarium" lights are $60, Ill go with the $20 anyday. Besides just like reptile stuff fresh water supply's are mostly re branded anyway.

Do you think this light would work for a 75 gallon planted?
I've tried it, it would
Been using this light for a while now in a planted tank and does pretty well
glad you like the lights ive been using them for a couple years now no issues. i use the chain and hang the light about 4 inches off the tanks

Thanks for sharing
@@SteenfottAquatics Thank you! I work at a major pet chain and I tell people to go to Walmart! Haha
How long do you run yours for?
@@thedon95376 I have 2. One on for 2 hours, both on for 3, other one on for two. Lights still doing great.
Hello, is your light still working? I want one but I want it to last a few years running about 8 hrs per day for plants in my 55 gallon.
Great deal. Got one today after spending too much at Petco on short lights. These work so well I saw things I didn't see with the expensive Petco light.
Hey Bob thanks for saving me a lot of money I got six of them to go on my rack great deal thanks again

I grabbed to grow light is that the one you used?
Luis Garcia I have a grow light in my hands I just bought, I have no clue how I’ll actually put it on my tank, got any ideas you could share?
@@StephanieQuiroz-ps9nl did you get the 24 in one ?

I use the walmart shop lights. They work good - grow lots of plants with them
I have those lights on my rack. My plants are growing fine. Not as well as the Fluval 3.0 tanks are. LOL. But they are growing.
Congrats on your new endeavor Bob! And that’s a great light!
Thank you EJ =)
Nice lighting vid. For easy floating plants I like water sprite and Amazon sword shoots.
Looking good Bob! I really hope this is a booming success for you!
THanks =)
Awesome lighting bob i like these might see of my. Store have them sp i can put them in my 55g
Found them at my local walmart. Posted for 24 dollars they rung up as 10.00 a peice. Bought 20 of them. Thanks for lightening up my wallet....oh well
Excellent ! I got mine and I’m loving it !!! Great video 👍🏻
Awesome video 👍 Notification Squad 🔥

wow $4, nice!
I am replacing all my lights with those hyper lights from Walmart and they do grow plants 👍

What kind of plants do you grow, and are they doing well?
Awesome on the food I’ve got it in my cart now about to order
Wish you had affiliate link
Did you find in small breed size ?
I just crush them up for smaller fish, and doh! forgot to leave my affiliate link.
Those lights are sick for $20!
I bought this light about a week ago. So are the people and you still using these light and are they really that good for plants and the fish. I have a 125 g tank that is 6 ft long.
I’d call those guppies Half purples Lol nice price on the shop lights. The air pump wasn’t that noisy to me. I could still hear you fine 👍🏻
So I got a 55 gallon and am wanting to plant it with some beginner plants, is this light sufficient enough? Or should I just save for a better light ?
I will be using these over my testing station for my tank maybe for my 110g fw tank lol
Which Wal Mart do you shop at? If it's at Everett that's a freak show 24/7. Anthony's is Everett's only saving grace. But that's just me.
I try to avoid Everett. Anthonys is too expensive for me lol
So I purchased this light today and I must say for $21 this is a phenomenal bargain and will go get some more to stock up.
Have one of these over a 55, definitely worth the $22
Im considering this light for a 56, is it still doing well/worth it?
I been using these on tank bro!! 3500k so they're only good for green plants... But they're damn bright man 16$.... Can't beat it.

They're 24"
ug Quatics waterproof?
How to your set up the 24” hyper tough grow lights for your aquarium?
It's a shame these lights ain't available in UK ;(
I have 2 of the 3200 hanging above my 75gal and 2 of.th 5k ones above my130 cube
Do the 3200 have a yellow tint to them compared to the 5k?
do you have the specs for the shelves? they look awesome

@@SteenfottAquatics Thank you.
Whats the temp of your light? Whats the K?
!
Did you ever try the 3200?
Go to Home Depot if you are running freshwater. Plenty simple inexpensive lights to manage things.
Are those the sponge filters from Aquarium Co-op?
Yup =)
Lol I thought so...did you do a review on them? I’ve been seriously considering those.
Can I lay these directly on top of the tank?
Do these have a Kelvin rating?
Can these led grow plants ?
Low light yes
That worked great for $20 bucks 👊✌️
No complaints here =)
Are you painting your stand?
Just sealing it for now
what is the spectrum of this shop light ?
I don't think I need a four foot light, otherwise I'd give it a try. I'll pry just stick with Nicrew for the same price.
The 24 inch model is like $14 if i remember right, but nicrew is a great budget light too.
@@SteenfottAquatics oh, really? That'd be perfect, although I'm not sure about mounting it. That's my other concern.
Are you getting anymore panda garra in stock
Should have more available soon =)

Ty
$ per gallon is going on untill mid november just incase you didnt find out yet!
Walmart sells EVERYTHING!
Cheap LED? Count me in.
Lol I agree
When the air pump turned on I barely heard it.
Stick with the 5000 man. 3200's have a very yellow tint to them.
Dude that light is 46" long. My tank is 30." Wicked overhang.
Every time I go to Walmart I see this and think about my 55
Been happy with it so far.
This is my project for today than! Thanks
I got my right on top of my tanks lol
WHOO HOO
No link to buy it? 😭😭😭😂🤣🤣🤣👍👈

shout me out bro =)

Some people appreciate a good value. Just because an item is inexpensive, doesnt mean its poor quality.
I can appreciate that, but maybe for a secondary tank, not a main display. More freshwater hobbyists should trick that shiz out!
Thats why i got fluvals on the tanks inside =)
