    glad you like the lights ive been using them for a couple years now no issues. i use the chain and hang the light about 4 inches off the tanks

    Been running this light since October. It's amazing. I have two on my 75 gallon and it's bright, has a good temperature, and the plants are thriving. I recommend it to everyone.

    Great deal. Got one today after spending too much at Petco on short lights. These work so well I saw things I didn't see with the expensive Petco light.

    Hey Bob this brand of light is what I have on almost all my tanks,I use the the smaller ones 18" and 24" and my plants grow great! Mine only have 1 strip though so yours will grow great. Looks good.✌🌿

      If so what I did was make my own lid out of a plastic tub lid and drilled the light attachments onto to underside then just pressed the light into place works great not the best looking but im satisfied with the plant growth

    I have those lights on my rack. My plants are growing fine. Not as well as the Fluval 3.0 tanks are. LOL. But they are growing.

    Nice lighting vid. For easy floating plants I like water sprite and Amazon sword shoots.

    Found them at my local walmart. Posted for 24 dollars they rung up as 10.00 a peice. Bought 20 of them. Thanks for lightening up my wallet....oh well

    I built my first rack this weekend and the 3200 lumen works great, did exactly the same as yours though mine mounts a bit closer. The 3200 lumen doesn’t have a pull chain so I’ve hooked it up to a timer I got on sale at Dirt Cheap for $4.

      How are they working? I'm looking at upgrading my cheapo shop light on my 60g. I want medium light, but I dont know if I can get it from lights other than dedicated aquarium lights...
      What kind of plants do you grow, and are they doing well?

    I bought this light about a week ago. So are the people and you still using these light and are they really that good for plants and the fish. I have a 125 g tank that is 6 ft long.

    I’d call those guppies Half purples Lol nice price on the shop lights. The air pump wasn’t that noisy to me. I could still hear you fine 👍🏻

    Which Wal Mart do you shop at? If it's at Everett that's a freak show 24/7. Anthony's is Everett's only saving grace. But that's just me.

    I been using these on tank bro!! 3500k so they're only good for green plants... But they're damn bright man 16$.... Can't beat it.
    There are also 10$ hypertough lights at Walmart. They are much better for plants. You can actually get some reds out of them.
    They're 24"

      One thing ive learned is they do not like water or moisture at all. If i set them on the tank they always fail after a few months. When raised off the tank they seem to last a long time.

    Go to Home Depot if you are running freshwater. Plenty simple inexpensive lights to manage things.

    I don't think I need a four foot light, otherwise I'd give it a try. I'll pry just stick with Nicrew for the same price.

      The 24 inch model is like $14 if i remember right, but nicrew is a great budget light too.

    Thanks for the info... can we place these on an aquarium hood without hooking to the ceiling? Would it be too hot for the glass/plastic

    Stick with the 5000 man. 3200's have a very yellow tint to them.

    As soon as a I see the word “cheap” in the title, I tune out. Why do freshwater hobbyists always have to cheap out? It’s like reef people are rich and freshwater are poor.

      Some people appreciate a good value. Just because an item is inexpensive, doesnt mean its poor quality.

      I can appreciate that, but maybe for a secondary tank, not a main display. More freshwater hobbyists should trick that shiz out!

      When I have a bunch of racks that need lit and "Aquarium" lights are $60, Ill go with the $20 anyday. Besides just like reptile stuff fresh water supply's are mostly re branded anyway.
