- Latepost on my haircut but here it is! Long hair problem, well here's my short hair solution.

My hair was almost 26 inches long. Several of months ago I went for a "trim" and the lady cut 6 inches! Now, my hair is 22-23 inches long. I really do love my long hair, but it's a hassle. Did you ever get neck pains or headaches? I think my long and thick hair maybe the cause of my neck and headaches. I can feel the weight of my hair. For those reasons I'm thinking on going short. It wouldn't be the first time I go from 26-28inches to collar bone length.
when i got my hair cut i felt like i lost 10 pounds...oh hair lol. for me my short hair is much more easier to handle & care for.

Locks of love will never make a wig from your hair for some one who needs it, they sell it for profit and no one knows where that profit goes ? its as yet unproven.
What is known that from thousands of donations they only produce a handful of wigs each year.
Do the math and work it out, bad move for cutting it and even worse for donating it.
thestigg61 I actually have not donated it. A friend informed me on the rumors of Locks of Love, so I didn't send it out yet. Still have to do more research and look for a proper place to donate it.
There are no proper places it appars they all do the same.

+ninjagaileen No, he is just a "long hair fetishist" who believes females should have "long hair at all costs." All the organizations are legit. Locks of Love does use some of the hair they receive to sell as extension hair, in order to pay/offset the cost for the actual wigs they have made. They also charge for wigs as families can afford. If a family cannot afford one, it is free to them. But those with "long hair agendas" have taken these things out of context and slandered an organization that does lots of good, by stating "they sell the hair and charge for wigs" blah blah blah! Wigs for Kids is another fine example of a company doing good by kids with cancer.
Unfortunately many of the donations to these places cannot be used for the classic "little girl with cancer," that most donors think about because it takes 8-12 ponytails of matching hair that is at least 14-16" long or longer of good quality hair, and those donations are rare. (Especially in blonde or red shades as Indian, Asian and Latin hair is available for reasonable cost). Most donations are "minimum" length like 8-12" and often times cut from someone who has waist length hair, so it's really just a foot of damaged ends. Hair is renewable for those without disease, and it is totally appropriate for it to be harvested and given to those in need. What is the difference between a very short bob and top-of-shoulder length when having it cut anyways? An extra 2-3 months of growth time! Big deal. If more women knew the real difference as to how their pony could be used, I'd bet they would just go ahead and have it chopped up to a short bob instead of halfway chickening out and only donating "the minimum.
You and Cancerian are hair cut fetishist's so please don't try and blame others for telling the truth, i believe no one should give generously to a scam where as of course you do,
to support your fetish.
