Lots of recipes for shark. Curry style, coconut gravy, lemon butter garlic, and the list goes on. Hmmmm, yum, yum. And I know the powerhead works on them too.
9:15 i find it amazing how calm you guys when the sharks are just below you and you guys are just talking on the surface without eyes on the shark

Dude I saw this on aquatic ape's chanel and had to find it, this is like the definition of Interspecific competition lol.
also to anyone reading this note how the sharks don't immediately eat the spear fisherman even though they are directly competeing for the same food source and they leave after a few pokes. 🤔

These guys are fearless. I've not shot fish because there was a large Barricuda hanging around. When sharks move on, we always moved on.

And I thought racing my motorcycle was a dangerous sport lol. You guys are very brave for sure. It just takes one mistake or problem before one of those sharks gets you... probably not if but when no matter how good/skilled you are. Don't forget what happened to the crocodile hunter. But he definitely died doing what he loved. But what a rush. Awesome video! After watching several of these types of videos it's amazing how well someone can fight off a large shark with a speargun point or knife. I'll never dive without a spear or knife again.
Absolutely! Definitely a rush and very wise to have something to poke away a shark. Using your hand or foot would not be the best idea. Lol

Diving without scuba gear 50 feet down is superhuman. Submerging just 12 feet deep in a pool makes my eardrums feel like they might explode.
you need to equalize your ears. check online for techniques. most people who are taught good breath hold and finning techniques can dive to 50 feet pretty easily

How do you even find spots so sharky?, Do you have to chum or is it a shark spawning zone? Either way its some insane footage and you guys have nerves of steel, spearing with sharks is one thing but fighting them off and still spearing is a whole different level. keep up the good work bro.

I love to snorkel the reefs around Spanish Wells but stay pretty nervous though I have only scene a couple sharks. Strange how you can spear around bull sharks but a person just swimming around gets torn to pieces around there by bull sharks or Tiger sharks.
Just like last week epic video with all the bull sharks 🤙🏼

Bleeder here : deep cut @ medical examiners office right before closing time & making a mess. Old hand takes me to commissary for prepackaged coffee in filter. He has me rub coffee in cut & staunched hemorrhage faster than steptic. Instructed to get a few stitches but did not have time. No more bleeding. Coffee is incredible

Or dangling a fish in front of a shark.
I heard that if you power headed a shark, all of the other sharks would vacate the area. Something like the smell of other dead or dying sharks repels others. Any truth to that.
I have no idea and wouldn't know. Never done it before! Thing is though, we want the sharks around cuz they bring in the cobes. Just gotta know how to successfully land the fish around sharks!

@@CaptainJackSpearo Should have shoot one shark. One round will barely scratch its bullet proof skin. There are videos of fisherman using tipped spears for self defense; sharks just swim away with a bit of fright.
