I don't know why but it's really refreshing and relaxing to watch your videos and your approach to the game. I play off 8 and your chipping around the greens is far superior to mine, if I played you in matchplay off 18 I'd be sick. Add some distance and there's no reason you couldn't be single figures in the next 18months given how far you have come in such a short space of time. Keep it up mate, genuinely good to watch and I find myself wanting you to do well. You've just gained another subscriber - nice one.
This man is the king of us average golfers. Except he’s so consistent. He realistically birdied that last hole except for the OB. Like I said, the KING
87 is a great score! Congrats on it that is huge. There were a handful of par fours that were above 400 and you handled them very well. The final hole was the greatest display of mental fortitude I’ve ever seen out of an 18 handicap golfer. To be able to score a bogey after going out of bounds is insane. You’re gonna break 85 next time around I can feel it!

Your videos are the most frustrating yet encouraging I watch haha. I hit the ball a decent distance, 270 carry with a Driver, 205 carry with a 5i for example so i look at some of your distances where you lay up/ land short and think i could get there comfortably. What i cant do though is match your score for a round which is what matters. I shot my best round this weekend of +20, but what your videos really highlight are the importance from inside 100 yards as you would destroy me in and around this range. You're very reliable and controlled which is a great lesson for a lot of people, myself included. Really enjoy your content!

Thanks James and well played Sir ! Love Maesdu, played there twice in 2021 and planning to return in 2022. Would highly recommend both Maesdu and St Deiniol to anyone thinking of a trip to N. Wales. Two more scenic courses you could not wish for. I also love Rhuddlan, as I first broke the ton there with a 96 many many years ago. Returned to playing golf again after 30 years break and upon My first return to Rhuddlan, I went round in 96. Delighted.

My dad is getting older and wants to get into golf since I am into it now. He doesn't think he can do it because he can't bring the club far back. I showed him your previous video. You're a great player!
I think I might have a limited range of motion so my backswing has always been short. It's never bothered me and I don't think much about it. Tell your dad to get out there and just enjoy the rounds. You can play a 9 hole or par 3 course to start and take it from there. Thanks for watching :-)
I play off 18 too and just how different my game is in comparison to you is why I love golf so much. Your wedge game and putting is just another level to mine. I hit it a fair way further and tee to green probably hit more in regulation but that means very little when I 3 putt 3-4 times a round!

Yeah, back in the autumn I was playing twice a week plus a session at the range. My approach game was sharp and I was hitting greens with not much thought. I'm pretty rusty now as I've only played 2 9-holes in 7 weeks! Looking forward to the waterlogged courses drying out this spring! Thanks for watching and good luck with your excellent channel :-)
I really got the pace of the greens pre round on the putting green. Sometimes I just do 10-15 mins of putting pre round but I did a solid 25 mins this day and it paid off! Thanks for watching :-)

If you straightened that left arm up a little on your backswing I think you’d start seeing a bit straighter shots off the tee and pinch a few more yards, your approach shots are also really good! That shot you made a 7:48 is the key to unlocking your better swing. You were able to shift your right hip behind the ball and turn the ball over. You need to watch that swing on video and imitate it. Best swing ive seen ya make. Plus dont be afraid to put the ball little further back in ya stance with all clubs. This is because you have it a bit to forward with all clubs your not able to make a solid shift threw contact. The only way i can explain it is your hips all the way across is like your second club comming threw impact. You want that right hip to kinda mimic the angle of your shaft as its comming into impact. If your hips are kinda square like they are with your long clubs then you get stuck back there and have to get to handy with your hands to make up for it. Long explanation. But does make sense if you think about it.
Also you can rotate that right shoulder more on ya downswing to help turn the ball over if you cant rotate your hips enough. Using a tennis ratchet or a baseball bat for practice instead of golf clubs can help you better figure how to rotate your upper body threw contact. Because they teach you how to rotate the upper body more threw contact. Just hitting some tennis balls with a ratchet can do wonders for your golf swing even a baseball bat.

Your putting today was of a scratch golfer, awesome. You need to take extra club, e.g. , you hit a 6i from 157 in the fairway, came up well short, but then hit a 22deg hybrid from a little less distance like 145 and off a tee. Overall massive improvement around the greens. The real key to improving is accepting that things won’t go your way every day and you seem to have mastered that. Well played

Your putting today was of a scratch golfer, awesome. You need to take extra club, e.g. , you hit a 6i from 157 in the fairway, came up well short, but then hit a 22deg hybrid from a little less distance like 145 and off a tee. Overall massive improvement around the greens. The real key to improving is accepting that things won’t go your way every day and you seem to have mastered that. Well played
