- His first season at Welford Road may have been bookended by some unfortunate injuries, but in just fourteen games, the World Cup-winning Springbok Handré Pollard has already scored four tries, assisted in another four, and scored over one-hundred points across the Premiership and Champions Cup.
He is truly playing...in a league of his own. Here's his tribute!

Superb compilation, thanks.
Pollard is the single reason the Boks are World Champions. That simple.
Thanks for the kind words, man. You're very welcome!
I completely agree. Above all else, it was his game management that prevailed.
To think he's won a Bronze Medal in 2015 and two consecutive World Cups in 2019 and 2023 is insane!
@StanWilks A calm General dictating the game. I like Libbok, but he isn't in Pollard's league.
Yeah, he has some serious accolades already. Can't wait to see where he goes under Rassie!
Ps. I subbed, man. I will take a look at your content later. Keep up the good work!
@@SoCalDreaming87 Libbok has the talent for a promising future, but Rassie's handling of him was a wise rugby decision in the context of a World Cup. I was happy to see him slot that watch-winning kick for the Stormers, though!
Very exciting times! I need to read his book. He's a rugby genius.
Thank you so much, my friend. That's very kind of you. Hope the rest of my tributes are to your liking. Would love to know what you think of them!
@@StanWilks You're right, my brother. He needs a better temperament. The shot clock at RWC2023 messed with him big time.
That clutch kick against La Rochelle was impressive! The young man is making great strides.
Man, I love this sport...
@@SoCalDreaming87 I think the shot clock has rattled more players than most people would think. But he'll learn it from it.
If he keeps nailing kicks like that, he'll start for the Springboks in 2027!
Best fly half in world rugby. That simple.
Yeah, I can't really dispute that. He's amazing. Haha.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
What a player
He's just fantastic.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
The Bulls could really use someone like him right now.
Any team could use someone like him!
Wow, Pollard is incredible. I wish him all the best. I read he was injured and was not selected for the RWC team because of his injury.
He's amazing. As a closet Tigers fan, I've loved every minute he's spent at Welford Road.
If he isn't on the plane, South Africa's loss will be Tigers' gain!
Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@StanWilks I love how that so many players from different countries represent different clubs around the world and make so many friends. Then RWC they all represent their countries, kick fcuk out of each other on pitch, then all drink together after it. Absolutely love the rugby family mentality. I wish all RWC competitors safe and memorable world cup.
He won us the cup
Singlehandedly!
And it was Pollard who won the wc for SA
Yep. Singlehandedly, and deservedly. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great form to take into the RWC. Thank you to Leicester!
Second only to Owen Farrell when it comes to the top of the form tree in the Prem.
I'm putting money (figuratively speaking) on the Springboks winning the World Cup again.
No one's talking about them, and their preliminary training squad they announced looks dangerous!
Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@StanWilks 100% agree
Thanks, Louis!
@@StanWilks 4 class 10s. Farrell seems to execute an existing system, while Pollard has implemented a new system on attack in contrast to George Ford which Leicester will only get better at
@@joshuaho4749 Yeah. Well said, Josh.
Though Pollard has perhaps been the most stylish, Farrell has been the most reliable and consistent fly-half this season.
Thanks for commenting and I apologize profusely for only just replying. For some reason, RUclips don't notify me of people replying to comments.
I wish more Bok fans could see our overseas based players club/franchise play so can realise what they see at the Boks is about Bok strategy not about the players themselves. To label Pollard boring, flat and just a kicker is so far off the mark and simply shows not following the man play.
Hopefully this tribute shows he's capable of so much more!
Everyone is going crazy about manie libbok but even if he can sort out hes goal kicking he wil never be 1st choice flyhalf while pollard is around. Pollard just need 1 appearance this world cup to remind manie and hes fan club who he is.
Agreed. I've been impressed with Mannie thus far. His no-look cross-field kick speaks for itself.
But Pollard is a World Cup winner, and that speaks for itself, too.
I was kind of surprised that he wasn't on the plane despite his injury.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Had He been selected to play against Ireland, maybe Springboks would have won!
We all know the Springboks would have won with Pollard at ten.
How he wasn't even in the 23 is beyond me.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
2023 wc needs you bud
He's only a phone call away. Mark my words. He'll be back.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@StanWilks you were right
Perhaps for the first time ever concerning rugby prophecy. Haha.
he won it
