- Prior to his move across the Severn Bridge, Josh Hathaway developed his speed and agility whilst playing for Scarlets and Wales U20s.
A switch in nationality has found Hathaway scoring sensational tries during his breakthrough season for Gloucester, as well as impressing senior coaches during his maiden Six Nations for the England U20s side in 2023.
The tug of war now begins to see if England or Wales can get their grip on the youngster, who is quickly reassuring Gloucester fans that Louis Rees-Zammit's absence will not be felt.

As a glos fan I recon wales should get him in the squad for the summer because he certainly has talent and could gain a lot of experience quite early from it.

@@StanWilks Unfortunately after reading the rules I’m pretty certain he’ll be unavailable which is pretty disappointing even though I’m English I think him playing for wales would have done him some good. As for Gloucester yesterday I went to the game and the atmosphere was the really good as well as the game itself and I’ll be definitely heading to London for the final!
