      @@joannacotsios9620 Hi JoAnn! I want to assure you that even though I have been very impressed by what red light has done for my skin, my neck does NOT look like I have had a neck lift. When I move it crinkles and creases and when it gets dry it looks crepey. It is definitely not perfect. With all that said, I am happy with the improvements I have seen using red light, good skincare and some other devices such as micro current and radio frequency.

      I ordered a red light device two days ago. I'm 60-years-old and my neck and chin are getting a bit gravity-challenged. I'm hoping this will help out over time. I have to take meds first thing in the morning and lie in bed for 30 minutes before I really get up and get to my day. (I have Fibromyalgia and a couple other hereditary conditions.) I can get up and wash my face, put on some serum and chill out while getting a lovely treatment. 😊

    No one tells you to exercise your neck to reduce the waddle as you age...put your head back as far as you can, open your mouth and close it, lifting the jaw up as you close. Look to the right and do the same...then look to the left (I do a set of 25 each way). Do this every day when you're young and you won't get a waddle (promise...I've been doing it for decades...I'm 62 and possess the neck of someone 30 years younger!).

      I do have a question for you. I am not familiar with the RedRush panel. What is the treatment time recommended in the RedRush manual?? I only ask because 20 minutes seems like a long time. You can google "the biphasic response to red light" and see that research has shown that if you use red light too long during a single treatment, you can actually cause oxidative stress, which would in turn do the exact opposite to our skin that we are hoping to achieve with red light. But if you are following the instructions in the manual, you should be fine. But I did just want to mention this because as I have personally learned, red light is great, but more red light doesn't necessarily mean better results. I hope it is ok that I mentioned this. I just love red light so much and I want everyone to get the great results I think I have gotten.

    I think the results of the red light on your neck has been really great. I agree that at some point being 56 you may not be able to continue to reverse aging, you don’t have skin of a 20 year old, of course, but the results have been quite incredible. I applaud you for taking such good care of your skin. At 63 unfortunately my laziness toward my skin care is showing in my neck and I think part of that has been from weight gain, loss, gain….where I get a double chin, and then when and if i lose the extra weight, I’m left with saggy skin. Another great video Tina. Thanks for sharing my friend. 😊

    I have a very powerful photbiomodulation device I bought to help my son who was severely vax injured 25 years ago. It's really helping him. I've used it on me to regrow hair. My hair was really thinning and the red light has made it thicker, my hairdresser agrees. You can't stop doing it though or the hair will fall again. I added some beef organ capsules a few months ago and am seeing even more growth! Also I use Celtic Complexion eye elixir on my eyes (no more hooded eyes!) and castor oil as my skin moisturizer. I think my skin looks good for a mature woman (60s). Tina your skin looks amazing especially considering you have rosacea. You can't even tell!

I've been using the Dr. Gross mask for about a year and have noticed good results. I like it because it has 5 different depths of red light and goes up to 880 nm. You really want the red lights to be right up against your skin to get the maximum benefit and that particular mask has a contoured fit. They also make a neck mask and the face mask has a blue light option, which helps counteract any redness from rosacea or acne. Thank you for your honesty and for sharing your results!! I have been using my Red Light panel the same amount of time as you (and the Maysama Rooibus Pressed serum was added about 1.5 year's in). Like you, my neck was my worst trouble spot and while it's not like I'm in my 20's (hello sunbathing and tanning beds for years!) at 62 (yow!) my neck--and skin in general--definitely looks a whole lot better. I also average about 5 times a week for 10 minutes each time and I absolutely think this is my holy grail, desert island skincare device. I will never give it up! I don't use goggles either btw and I swear my vision has gotten better too (anecdotally of course!). Your video once again confirms my choice to be consistent in the use of Red Light! Whenever I see a young women in a video applying skincare or sunscreen and she only applies it to her face. I am screaming at the screen "put it on your neck!!" Lol! But, I am so thankful to have found things that help.
      I know you had mentioned a while back your Dad's health was not good. I hope he is doing ok. It sounds like you have a lot going on, so don't beat yourself up about not sticking with routines. Sometimes our focus needs to be where it needs to be and that is ok.

      I know what you mean. I’m surprised mine isn’t bad because I grew in the surf culture, lived on the beach in Hawaii and was constantly in the sun with no sunscreen. I also worked at tanning salons at one point. Ugh.. I’m guessing generics play a role here also. Regardless, yes always take the skincare down to your neck and chest. I started that in my 30’s I think and I’m sure that helped reverse any damage.
      Thanks for mentioning my dad, he’s still in the hospital and my almost 31 year old son isn’t well. It’s been a hard hard year so far.

    Thank you for your video. There is data about it helping vision/eyes, but everyone else says it will cause blindness. It appears to be the only wavelength, the red light wavelength that is safe for eyes- yet of course its scary and daunting to try. We are all told this causes blindness for all other lights. I hope someone has more experience on the eye area to share.

      I had red light therapy once with one of those devices that come over the top of you. I had Google's on but after that when I was driving at night I had flashes of light. With the Goggles it was still bright. I had to stop the treatment. Maybe different for others.

      @@antheahamilton4268 My face mask is pretty mild. I don’t wear any goggles with it. I’m sure it has shined on my eyes as well. There are intensity levels which may be the reason. I keep my intensity on low. It has worked fine for me on low. I think pulsed light would also be too powerful for an eye area but maybe not. Hi Kristin! I am not an expert and can only share with you my personal experience, but I think depending on how much laxity to the skin on your tummy, it might help a little. But maybe not enough to see big improvements. I have treated my stomach, but to be honest, I haven't been super consistent and I have never noticed too much change. I also have never tried to treat stretch marks, so I am not sure how much improvement you would get. Hopefully someone with more experience treating the stomach and stretch marks will chime in here and leave us some more feedback. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!

      Hi there! Thank you!
      Since near infra red lights really do help with collagen production, I think there is a bit of firming that happens, but I really think with red light therapy, the better your skin is when you start, the better it will stay that way when using red light. Does that make sense?? If you have a lot of laxity, it will probably help a little, but I wouldn't expect any dramatic improvements. That of course is just my opinion and maybe someone else has had really good firming results with red light.
      I hope that helps a little.

    • @tinasbestmidlife

      Hi Amy! I have never used the Omni Lux mask, so I can't comment on that one in particular, but I have used the Current Body one which is very similar, but maybe slightly fewer bulbs. Now the Maysama panel has the addition of using pulsed red light, which the Omni Lux does not have. With the said, I know many people love their Omni Lux masks and get great results. Deciding between a panel and mask is really just a personal preference. Having used both and right now really enjoying the panel, but I have gotten great results with either.
      I am not sure if you have seen it yet, but Maysama has come out with a brand new LED mask. It's called the PRANA mask. I have had it a few weeks and I am really loving it! It like the panel, has a pulsed light feature, and also there is a setting to use red and blue together which is great if you still get breakouts. And the thing I LOVE about the new Maysama Mask is that the mouth area doesn't have a lip opening, so you get the benefits of red light at that area, which I think is genius!
      I think it would be a great option to check out. I can link my ShopMy store here and in the section of my favorite red light devices, you can find the PRANA mask linked, in case you want to check it out. I hope all this helps!!

    In my experience use infa red as the foundation because it goes to the deepest part of skin ie the foundation then once you've done that say 6 monhs then go red light n infa red ie one per day in turn.

    I'm prob gonna get flack for this but when I got my stimulus I bought something for myself -a Opatra face mask and the handheld machine with heat & vibration...ones Msrp at the time was over 600$ the other I think was 300(I had 30% & 50% off a single purchase from shoplc,so I ordered them separately saving a lot compared to reg prices on shoplc and Opatra) they have lifetime warranties so that's good.... unfortunately they were packed in storage so I haven't gotten to use them extensively until now as I just got em out about 2weeks ago...I think I am going to do this as well because at 41(and many,many terrible lifestyle decisions thruout the years) my face is a wreck!! I also got a "needle roller" (which some use for hair growth and scalp therapy) that I intend on using 1st,then applying some type of HA, retinol or something,then using the heated wand. I want to do this at least 3x a week..I will document and "keep receipts" on my progress and let y'all know what my results are. Best of luck ladies! Just because we gain wisdom as we age we do not need to wear that on our faces. I had some medical issues an in an effort to address the issue,the medicine actually led to the demise of the interior/roots of my teeth. Once treatment concluded I realized there was no way I could possibly afford a full mouth of implants. I opted for dentures rather than nothing but from start to finish (meds,pulling,after care, fittings etc.)we were still out almost 5k ..making matters worse they look so odd on my face I don't like to wear them.tje bottom teeth are the right width and style but they are extremely "tall" and the top is extremely narrow...this is after sending them back 3x-enough Abt that but they,well absence of them is the reason I am trying to fix my incredibly aged skin as having bad skin and no teeth is bad,if I can fix one maybe I will feel better and start to venture from my home as I did before..I really try to avoid public places if at all possible because of my looks. It has effected me so dramatically and taken such a toll on my self esteem everything else ha fallen apart too. And I know I am not the only one out here, regardless of reason, feels this way Abt themselves..I'm starting a journey!! This year is gonna'be great! I'm off to a slow start,but it's the quality of the "progress"-not the amount time it takes!! You only fail if you give up- because as long as you don't quit, there is always a chance things can change for the better.bit if you quit,that chance becomes non-existent,so then and only then can you say unequivocally,no doubt,100% that you have indeed failed!! Thank you whoever took the time to read this! Maybe once things, No, I mean "once I make things change" and have the "proof" of my journey I will have the confidence to post it in hope of helping someone else...Never forget when we feel alone that in reality, we all know someone who has put faith in us and our abilities. It is the same person that never leaves our side,will never abandon us. Someone who gives us strength when we are weak,has forgiven us for the worst that we have done, someone who loves us unconditionally...That person is our Lord and Savior,Jesus/Yesuha!! And with him beside me,I know I can accomplish my goals,break the cycle of addiction, self abuse, hate, sloth, selfishness, laziness and other negative choices/paths I have taken-following in the very same steps that so many in my family before me walked. I will overcome the perpetual state of poverty so many in my family have experienced and it will stop with me. My young children will see that I am strong and thru me they will have the ambition to continue on the ne road I have paved for them to follow!

      I hope this helps!

      @@tinasbestmidlife I can tell the difference when I go without using it. Melatonin producing declines and restless sleep ensues. It helps keep inflammation in check and lymphatic clear. I do put the panel (no pluses but includes nir with red light) in front of my face and upper body. I haven’t experienced any adverse side effects. No clinical studies I have seen shows any. I have used all five devices for years without problems (Full body mat, half body panel, face with neck mask, and pods I attach for specific body parts therapy)., I am over 50, so skin care is important in keeping the biggest protective barrier in great health.

    Hi Tina - I'm a bit confused about which device you are using for face, neck?
    Under this video you say you are using Current Body's mask. (which I doubt is a pulsing
    light -?) ...Or IS it?
    You also show footage in the video while using a pulsing panel.
    I have Omniluxe face, neck, hand devices.
    Been using for about 1.5 years. These are continuous stream light - no pulsing. Protocol is 10min treatments 4-6 days/wk.
    I do think these have helped firm up my skin. Though never took photo's. I think I was starting to get those turkey neck bands (I'm in my 70's) but it does seem,to me, that my neck is alot firmer now than before I started. It just does not seem that loose in that area, as I recall it being, prior to using Omniluxe.
    I am also using Curelogy's Retin-A @ 05% on face & neck for about 2 yrs now. So, it may be the combo of both these modalities that have given me firmer skin.
    It has come to my attn (as you have indicated in this video) that, studies have shown, pulsing redlight is more effective than continuous stream.
    My iRestore Hair Growth helmet gives a pulsing red light. The protocol is 30min every other day with that device.
    I am very happy with the iRestore helmet. (Using for over a year now.) Not only is my hair thicker/healthier, but seems to have lightened my hair(?)...or restored it to it's original color somehow? 🤷
    My hair was sort of paperbag blonde/brown mixed with some grey around the temples when I began using iRestore - now it's the color it was when I was a kid - white blonde - but with some darker undertones mixed in. In other words- its not solid white blonde. (whIch would look a bit freaky, imo)😅
    Anyhow, I ❤ it! And feel no need to have blonde highlights put in. 😊
    But, to reiterate my main inquiry with you, Tina - does your Current Body mask have a pulsating light?

    • @tinasbestmidlife
      @tinasbestmidlife  5 месяцев назад

      Hi Barbara! First off, how interesting the I-Restore changed your hair color back to the same color you had a child. That is fascinating to me!!
      I am sorry if there was confusion in my video. I mentioned in the video that I got really great results around my eyes using the Current Body mask, but no,. That mask is continuous LED. I am currently using the Maysama Panel which does offer both continuous and pulsed light. As you could see from my photos, I am maintaining my results, but there hasn't been any major improvements. Which isn't surprising because I have been using red light for over 3 years now and understandably it can only do so much. Honestly, I think you should stick with what you are already doing with red light. Keep using your Omnilux and keep being consistent. That's just my two cents.
      I hope that answers your question. Thank you very much for watching and sharing your experience . I appreciate it!

    • @tinasbestmidlife
      @tinasbestmidlife  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Stephen. This video is not about the panel. It is really about my red light routine and how I am maintaining my results. I shared the device I am currently using because my subscribers ask me. So yes, I am enjoying the gifted panel, but as I mentioned in the video, I got the most benefits from red light during my first 6 months of use on a Mito panel I purchased. I think there are so many great red light devices out there and I think if you research and find ones that have those optimal studied wavelengths, you can get some great results.

    What made you switch from the Current Body mask to the Maysama panel? Thanks

    • @tinasbestmidlife
      @tinasbestmidlife  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hi! I switched from using the Current Body mask to the Maysama panel because I really wanted to try the pulsed light feature on the Maysama panel. There is some research showing how pulsed red light can result in better efficacy of water based skincare products that are applied before a treatment. I also liked that with this panel I can treat with the regular red and near infra red light settings(NOT the pulsed) without the goggles and treat my eye lid skin. I am really enjoying the panel, but still think the Current Body mask is a great LED device as well. Hope that answers your question.

      With this panel and the distance I sit away from it, I am able to treat my face and neck at the same time. As far as the safety of LED with fillers, I really don't know. I have never had fillers before, so it's never something I have researched. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

    Better red light penetration when you have a clean face. No moisturizers or sunblocks. So to maximize the full benefits make sure you clean your face and do not wear anything on your face like moisturizers. Bet you will get even better results than what you have gotten these past 3 years.

    • @tinasbestmidlife

      You don't have to put anything on for treatments. I just like using the Maysama serum because it really helps my redness and there was also a small study done with the Maysama serum and Mito Red light. It showed that when using the serum prior to red light treatments, you get even better results as compared to just red light alone. Hope that helps!
