Very good test as compared to the others I've seen. The problem with the bird shot is with as much spread as we see here it likely wouldn't have much effect on many threats. The only chance with bird shot is if you're within a short distance which it could be argued would be typical in a home defense situation, but I wouldn't feel confident in that it would do the job at this distance. so the reality of the matter is unless you live in a brick, cinder block, or stone house, anything that's useful for home defense will get through. Even frangible ammo isn't as effective against a threat. Enough said?
Interesting video. If your main concern is missing and going through rooms, sounds like birdshot is the best bet. Still does tons of damage but wont go through multiple walls.
When I set out to do this one I suspected that would be the case. I had hopes that a 22 would stop but no dice. A 12 gauge birdshot at 20ft or less is devastating.
George W also definitely probably said LIKE and SUBSCRIBE!

Can you do a green tip vs floor test? 2” gypcrete or some lightweight concrete, a wooden board. Then insulation for ceiling and then 5/8” drywall.
Interesting
Thanks!
