Looks great now, even better as a 3 years old lease return.
This channel has been a spectacular find for learning about he Gx550
Thanks Jeff❤❤❤
I want this car. I’m going to buy this
That one at 0:34 is amazing. My next ride for certain.
Got an "out the door" quote for the Overtrail (not +) from my dealer here in Seattle and it came in at $82k. This includes sales tax and some random paint protection stuff.
Really sucks that one starts at $67k on paper and ends up at $82k.
So is the dealer adding a 10K markup?
Our dealer is asking a $10k markup for the First Edition, IF they are allocated one. As we know, only 5K will be made, and our dealer is a very small, also marketing Jeep and Ram (shame on them!) Don't get me started on the Toyota allocation system, as it is definitely not customer-centric, much to the contrary.
The gingerbread man says Luxury+
when available to buy in Cali?
When do you expect dealers to actually receive their inventory?
I can't believe how HEAVY these things are. My 2018 F150 XLT Supercrew 4x4 with the 5.0 V8 engine and 10-sp trans is a larger vehicle yet weighs ~1000lbs LESS than this GX!!
Would you be willing to share those spec sheets?
I was pretty disappointed that they don’t have a model that has everything in it. I was going back between back-and-forth between the LEXUS LUXURY plus and the over plus but the luxury plus doesn’t have a lot of off-road features and the overt plus doesn’t have a lot of luxury features so I’m gonna wait until the last year that they manufactured this vehicle whether it’s 2025 or 2029 and then I am going to purchase the one that has all the features, I’ve done that with the last multiple Lexuses that have purchased in the past, and it’s always worked out… great video JEFF that’s really solidified my choice that I would definitely go for the GX 460… luxury
Hopefully when the hybrid comes out, they have a granddaddy version that’s fully decked out. I’m in the same boat. I’m moving to Alaska, so the overtrail+ is my go to. However, the captain’s chairs in the rear and the dynamic moon roof are options I’d definitely want.
@AutoJeff Reviews: Is premium fuel required or recommended?
Premium fuel is what’s listed so I’d say required?
It states “recommended octane”
Same engine as the Tundra, but detuned a bit, premium is only "recommended", so would wager one is safe running non-premium. My suggestion, stick with Top-Tier fuel and one should be good to go.
Why is there more cargo space in the overtrail vs say a luxury or premium when 3rd row is folded down?
Overtrail doesn't have the 3rd row
@@eg4449 that’s not what i asked…
Will the GX come with a full size spare tire?
I’ll check that this week and report back
Yes
no word on the hybrid having a 3rd row or not eh?
I don’t believe so
Skip premium and luxury trim
(Luxury isnt worth extra 10k from pre+)
If u want luxury-> luxury +
If u want semi luxury -> premium+
If u want offroad -> ovtrl+
The Land Cruiser should be priced pretty close to this.
Yeah it will definitely run around this similar range
@@AutoJeffReviews If so, which do you prefer? Would like to hear your thoughts:)
So many variables. Would like the economy of the LC, but undoubtedly the V6 and 10-speed auto will be one smooth/quiet drive train. The LC obtains nearly the same HP/Torque from the 2.4 turbo 4-banger, the little engine that could, but at the price of longevity? Heck, at this juncture there is not even pricing on the LC, being delayed I think because of the hybrid drive train, as is the hybrid Tacoma. If I were a heavy off-roader, no contest, the Overtrail, with front AND rear sway bar disconnect. It appears Toyota is holding back on a Trail Hunter variant of the LC, so as to not cut into the excellent 4Runner (Think TRD Pro) sales. For us, getting up in years, and only occasionally venturing mildly off-road, definitely the Luxury+, if nothing else, for the power running boards. One last thing, the GX will be produced in the highly-regarded Tahara plant, whereas the LC will be made at either the Tahara or Hino facility. Oh, and there is a video out of the first 2024 GX coming off the Tahara line. It is in production, more than apparently can be said for the LC.
The Lx is just a bad buy when the GX came out, the Lx is lacking tech compare to the GX
Good info. But the singing and slang in a middle aged male is annoying.
