This is the second time I've watched this video. I love this guy, and I love his work. Awesome documentary...
This show was UNDERRATED AS you know what! Sheer brilliance. A must see in my opinion...
It was still only a fictional TV show. Do not be childish about it. Besides in real life minorities were usually only 12 percent of the US population till 1970.

The "white shadow" in Italy was "time out" it was on TV in The middle 80's back when i was at the high school, i found all the episodes now and i am watching them, still wonderful and can not be compared to the shit there is on TV today.

Bruce Paltrow was a genius for creating the White Shadow, however I would like to know the real reason for killing off 'Curtis Jackson'!

He wouldn't cast people, based on their political leanings. So fuck him imo. People like him were the reason for the current division and polarization you see running rampant in the world today.
Between 'You'll never know what that smile means to me" to his female assistant and then counting to 10 before he fires her unless she disrupts a reading to bring him a script...typical power male of the period throwing his weight around. Socially aware to a degree, and creatively ambitious, but blind to his own oppressiveness.
(Gene Roddenberry coming onto every female on the Star Trek set is another example.)
