If as you say its a 50/50 chance of working, would the camera need to be disassembled to repair again or is it a software issue that could be fixed by taking to a repair specialist for adjustments?

Hay dos fallas en ese lente Pero como lo está reparando no queda ya que desajusta los imanes y no forma de ajustar como de fábrica solo hay un jig que solamente lo surtió sony

@@javiergt1293 - Please check the Coil must be about to break, in that case the coil will be good if you check with meter but due to physically broken, the focus lens movement is not good. Please check the coil carefully

Hey man, great vid. I was wondering if I could get a little help. I'm having trouble finding where the coil needs to be repaired. one of the coils is loose like yours was. However I can't find the break. I also found that the magnets were loose and pushing together. Can I use gorilla glue to fix them in place? and finally, my Iris fell apart is there a trick to putting it back together or is it just a bucket of patience? Again, thanks so much for the video. Finding help for this issue is hard! Thank you!
Hi, I am Dan on behalf of MYK Camera. now the coil is available for purchase from SONY. better to buy it and install. because it is improved. the Part Number is A2116228A. the coil was broken from near to the solder points. there is 4 solder points. If you messed the Iris, it should be correct by professional guy such as John. better way to send it MYK for repair if you messed it up. Iris & ND units not possible to buy separately. it's comes with whole lens.

I'd say 50/50, A/F should work fine but may not precise in M/F

Javier GT I don't know which white part but do not apply any grease, do not lube. Sony used a special grease on this lens.

Very weird. Please check the Stabilizer lens (about 15:16) make sure it is seating properly.

E:62:10 is the stabilizer (SteadyShot) lens error. Check 2 flex cables and connection from the stabilizer lens.

Sure, it will make easier a bit. The hardest part is dig all the way to the focus lens and put it back all together.
