I am on a 10/12 pitch and the framers want to nail toe-boards in due to the steepness.

If installed in the cool season months, will it adhere enough without heat from the sun? In my case, I need to sheet and cover rows at a time. I am building solo and need adequate time in the open weather to fully sheet the building and also install the roofing. Parts of the roof may be exposed for several weeks. Should it be fastened in an alternative way under the circumstances ?

In cool season and windy for sure you have to put cap nails

Hello. We have a video from Sharkskin that addresses Cold Weather ruclips.net/video/PUeJulmYDMU/видео.html According to Sharkskin, Ultra SA is a non-asphalt adhesive, which is why it can be installed at colder temperatures. This is from their site: Sticks in the cold - down to 10˚F - without primer
All temperature performance -40˚F to 280˚F It also has 12 months UV resistance. Hope this information helps.

I reached out to the owner of Sharkskin, Mark Strait and this was his reply.
Sharkskin Ultra SA® can be installed 20 degrees F and rising, and can be left exposed for 12 months.
So, it doesn’t need sunlight to adhere. NO, Fasteners are not necessary. One more thing. We are a non-asphalt adhesive, which is why we can be installed at colder temperatures
