It’s amazing how pretty your hair is with just grease and water and a tiny bit of the African Pride leave in. Your hair is gorgeous and it will get better over time.❤️❤️👍🏽
I do this religiously and my twist out normally last a working week 5 days. I love hair grease. I use blue magic Indian hemp, I have extra virgin olive oil & water in my spray bottle, plus use Africa's Best Coconut Creme leave in conditioner. My hair flourishes with this and always feels soft. Plus when I take the twists down they're shiny, soft & defined. I call going back to basics ❤️
Since cutting my locs a year ago, I had become product junkie. My twist outs never came out good. However, I found that my hair is better with a leave in, grease and water. My hair isn’t thin, greasy and weighed down by all the products of the LCO method. Grease and water is it!!!! My twist outs are bomb and fluffy now!!!
Hey Shanay, glad you've managed to find the products and techniques that work for you. Definitely add a leave-in before my hair grease and water, however it's cut down the price and time it takes to style my hair now. x
Hey Fam across the ocean🥰❣️love your vidz and my mom did my hair as a child like this! But as I got older my curl pattern was ruined when she hot combed it🥺So, relaxers when I got much older. Of course, as I aged with the relaxer, then came the shedding. So, back to natural since 2013, and experimenting like you with my protective styles! I will try this again-luv the vidz fam💖🎉🥰❣️💝🎊
I think it's high porosity hair but thick strands & medium density. Possibly? my hair is this way anyhow. Anything conditioner consistency & my hair is frizz & flat the next day & not very defined, if I use creams it's moisturised a lil but frizzy the next day. If I use gels it never seems to dry & doesn't get that hardness. But grease & gel with lotion to moisturize under them & my hair is really juicy for a while 😋 I've never been able to get the coordination right with the three strand twist 😅 thanks for sharing. Looks beautiful!
Well I’ve tried my best but won’t be taking it out until Saturday morning when I go out go for the day. I have 4c hair so anything that lasts the day I will be happy with. 😁🤞🏾❤️
@CAM To be fair, her process WAS NOT JUST "water and grease" either : I mean she did use a leave-in AS WELL AS "castor oil infused water"... So basically it's 2 products before the grease !!! (Please DON'T GET ME WRONG/I LOVE THE FINAL RESULT TOO, but the truth is she simply didn't just use water and grease only)
It depends on porosity! I have low porosity 4c hair and her routine is EXACTLY like mine. Tbh, I was shocked someone of a different texture than me can have my same routine.
"as not only is it a great mixture for hair growth, but is great for sealant for moisture retention. ".....ok I can agree with moisture AND length retention but didn't know that Dax actually GROWS hair.
From a child that is all my mom use is a brush and a cup of water and some hair grease I would cry until she pick up that brush and put the comb down mama I only want the brush ok mama boy I would do anything to keep from getting my hair done I cry myself to sleep every time when I was 11 I learned how to put a rubber band on my hair my mom would hold my hair because it was long to long for me to do by myself but brush only 😆😆😆
My son is 7 and he doesn’t like me to do his hair. He says it hurts. I try my best to be gentle and just use my fingers but his hair gets so tangled and he doesn’t want to cut it.
Yes grease will grow hair, but we have to take into consideration the damages which can be done to the brain etc, from the parabens like petroleum in grease. Acts 17:30 King James Version And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: God will not protect us if we know the right thing to do and not do it.

Thank you so much Shannon. x
This process depends on the hair texture... My 4C results was very different... I had to add cream and oil before putting the grease on top...

Looking cute
Do you think you get less shrinkage with the 3 strand twists?
What shampoo do you use to wash it off?
I use the Creme of Nature argan oil moisturising shampoo to remove the hair grease.
Do you have a night routine?
I do, I will be filming my night time routine soon x
@@MissLaurenLeigh11 👏wonderful!
Hair just screams " I'm the life of the party" ! Sometimes little manipulation and product goes a looooooog way.

I had a similar experience lol. Our mum’s did their best. Now it’s my daughter’s turn and history is repeating itself. 🥴😏
My son is 7 and he doesn’t like me to do his hair. He says it hurts. I try my best to be gentle and just use my fingers but his hair gets so tangled and he doesn’t want to cut it.
My hair will not follow order s I can not get my hair like that even if it was going to save my life. Real talk need help
Grease and water makes your hair feels cold especially when you braid it 🐱🐱🐱😜🐱😜😜
