    I saw these products on Instagram and rushed over to RUclips for reviews. I came upon your video. This is exactly what I needed. I hoped for a thorough review in the heat-styling system and you hooked me up. Thank you for this great demo and review.

    I’ve been waiting on your review for this. I have like 4 different heat protectors right now I only only straighten my hair like 4-6 times a year so I can’t buy these now🙄 I added the shampoo conditioner and glaze to my favs to buy one day. For the other sprays I didn’t know what the heat protecting ingredients were since they didn’t contain dimethicone. Amazing results!

    • @HeyKnottyGirl
      @HeyKnottyGirl  Год назад

      🤗 I’m assuming the copolymer that’s in the ingredients of OPP along with the aloe, form some sort of heat protectant. But don’t quote me on that. I would look into the OPP as a heat protectant when the time comes, along with the just glaze.
      Kudos to you for being a wise shopper! These products will be here when you need them. No rush to buy 💛 thanks so much for watching!

    I went out to buy these products after watching your video. Please help me! What am i doing wrong? I followed all the steps. I flat ironed my 13 year old's hair and the next day, it looks like a bad blow out😢! Is there something I'm missing?

    • @HeyKnottyGirl

      @valyse723 9 месяцев назад

      @@HeyKnottyGirl I used the shampoo and conditioner, silent treatment, and o.p.p. I also bought just glaze, but didn't use it. Is it possible that I used too much of the o.p.p? I put some on each section right before flat ironing that section. Did I only need to use one of those products after rinsing out the conditioner? I'm hurt cuz I love the doux and really wanted this to work 😥

      I didn't press mine, but I used the line and did a blown out twist out using the wrap foam. It was beautiful and the next day it was back to a fro. 🤷🏾‍♀️

      @@valyse723Maybe shampoo it 1 or 2 more times before moving to the conditioning step. Also, clip her ends if you feel comfortable doing so and try smaller sections.

      I would go with the doux, but I would buy two products. Silent Treatment to blow dry and OPP to straighten (it really only takes on pass to do the job)

      @ I was thinking that combo! Thank you! I just saw it this morning and I was more inclined to try it bc it’s made for our hair as opposed to something that could work but wasn’t “made” for us, ya know.

    Great result. The hair is so bouncy and shiny. do have a question: a cosmetologist on this platform noted that although diffusing is indirect heat, over time, it can cause damage. What type of heat protectant would you recommend for wash n gos and when would you apply it, since many of us apply products to soaking wet hair? Would any of the Press Play products work? Thanks

    • @HeyKnottyGirl
      @HeyKnottyGirl  Год назад +1

      Thank you! So there was a time where I would use Kenra blow dry spray on my wash and go’s right before diffusing. Idk if it worked, but I did it to try and protect my hair. I don’t think any of the sprays from this collection would work for diffusing. My recommendation now would be to add a bonding treatment into your routine to protect your strands before you apply your stylers. Maybe try the shampoo and conditioner since they have bonding properties. If you do that I will warn you that your hair will be moisturized, but it won’t feel like it lol. It’ll feel really strong.
