First, that California Girl impression was so spot on, the way my jaw dropped. lol!
But the dress looks so good on you. I think you can absolutely style that to be casual. Like imagine a denim jacket, chunky boot or canvas shoe and a cute tote? That girly is hitting a farmers market or going thrifting on her saturday. But if you wore it with a pretty silk scarf, maybe heels, bold earrings, and a clutch, she's going to a nice dinner out. Is it confusing or versatile?
You're spot on that the nipple bra is a marketing tactic.. but part of her , dare I say , genius, is that a nipple bra has previously only been a niche product for breast cancer survivors who want the natural look they might have once had before getting a masectomy. Often nipple reconstruction is not possible! So Kim is really trying to be as inclusive as possible and has the funds to launch niche products
but why would mastectomy patients want that when the whole point of a bra is to hide the nipples? you wouldn't look like that while wearing a regular bra, so that type of bra will always look unnatural. my mom had a mastectomy and just wears regular bras..
The dress definitely looked better without the shapewear imo, she was already snatched and smooth in it so no need for unnecessary discomfort! X

I do like clothes that can "lounge" along with shape wear, but my price range is more thrifted/Amazon than KK so it is fun see SKIMS-wear being tried. As for the bra with the "2 extras", I am not the consumer that they are looking for.🙄

I just put a cardian on at winter and have it as a normal dress with boots or sneakers. Not have skins but simular ones and used them to they fall apart or just way to washed out in color and elastic
the showing hole comments about the shirt and leggings combo had me absolutely DEAD AHHAHA. This was so good though! I've been so intrigued by the brand but didn't know if it would be worth a go!
I have the black version of the skims dress and it feels really formal for me too. This fall I'm gonna /winter I'm gonna try styling with hoodies, sweaters, and tees bc I hope that will dress it down. It's sooo cute tho and I've worn it to events

I really enjoy your personality and watching your videos! I also wanted to mention that the nipple bra controversy was more about how she was using the environmental crisis while not focusing on any kind of sustainability when it came to the manufacturing of these bras. At least that was my understanding of what was going on, and I do think it is important to think of these things as well. :) Stay cool!
Agreed about comfort. Shapewear needs me to break a sweat to put in on so I’m not wearing it. The number of times it’s ended up in my handbag after my first bathroom visit makes it pointless. At the end of the day I just don’t want panty lines under my outfit showing but I don’t want to free flap. So my hack is to buy soft smooth material undies (in Lycra or bamboo blend depending on the outfit - ie do I want grip or slip) in the highest waist I can find in at least a size bigger than I usually wear
Also depends on your anatomy and preference but as a big hippy girly I also go with a low cut leg option that sits under my hip and butt/leg crease so that seam sits at the top of my leg. It is comfy as and the seam is unclockable from all angles. Work smarter and comfier friends xx 😘

I'm sorry but I don't like any of that apart from the tank top! The shorts look like they're just men's boxers, the 2nd outfit isn't too bad but it looks a bit see-through, the long dress looks uncomfortable to me because I don't like feeling my thighs rub together. Add it all up and it's a nightmare for me LOL
Someone else in the comments already mentioned about the breast cancer survivor use for that kind of bra so it definitely has a use! I'm an F though so braless look just translates to pain in my mind...again it's just not for me or someone with my body type and preferences!
Personally for me minus the funky boxer shorts and the idk if its ironic or not bra everything was fine (oh didnt see the shapewear part, not a shapewear person my nose barely works half the time and so i dont need assistance in ending my life force/becoming a full time mouth breather and therefore doing damage to my gums/teeth in addition to my mouth breathing face this parts already a done deal nothin i can fix). Although i didnt love it paired together. But worn with other colors/texture either on the top or the bottom i feel like would help. Although idk abt the whole see through thing. Thats a deal breaker for me. I like my clothing to do a bit more in terms of covering.
I have the skims nipple bra and I love it bc I’ve never felt comfortable about my own boobas, but saying that, I had a lot of issues finding my size bc it didn’t match my bra size in other skims bras. Had to exchange twice to find the right one BUT customer service was super helpful and made the process easy and answered all my questions 😊
Shapeware to me feels like such a scam. Like unless you are already pretty close to having an "ideal" body type, it doesn't help anything. Just ends up making you uncomfortable. Most I've seen it do is just smooth out any lines created by the body's natural creases.
You look great but the slightly more narrow waist is not worth the pain. I swear my sister n law had a pair of yoga pants in black and in brown that look like those pants 2005. LOL
I really don't care about nips. Be it girls or guys it is just whatever to me. To some people it is a real insecurity, mine usually don't show but if they do it really doesn't even cross my mind to be bothered.
As a big titty girl who pffftd at the nipple bra. I kinda want it 😂 I can't go actually braless because my nips would be pointing at my armpits and they are proportionally tiny to the rest of the area.....but the illusion of it with the bra......
it's still very obviously a bra. it wouldn't look like your actual nipples bc everyone can tell that that isn't the natural shape of your breasts

Hey Lucy. I think the baby blue boxers and tank set looks amazing on you. I don't really like the extra boyish looking panel on the front of the boxers though. It reminds me too much of boy's underwear, which is just not feminine. Know what I mean? The bikini briefs look good under the boxers. I like the baby blue leggings too, but they have the panty lines in the back as well. I don't care about the lines, but some people do. Also, you honestly don't need the shapewear. Good haul!! 😊

I’m not going to support the kardashians in any way, as I fundamentally disagree with their morality and actions. I don’t think buying overpriced clothing from them is an ethical choice. I’d much rather spend that money on a small, ethical clothing company. no hate to anyone who feels differently, just my personal views for my own actions ❤

I don't really like Skims because everything just looks incredibly boring. I guess it's a matter of taste but I don't want to wear such plain clothes outside of work. Ha. Also they're way to expensive to be considered a basic.
