I really appreciate your honesty and I enjoyed this video so much! I had a massive glow up myself, and I wish I had known my self better sooner. Sometimes it is the simple things that elevate our looks and self-image. Not everyone is willing to share their tips on self-improvement, there seems to be either a need to “pass” as someone who was born good-looking confident and self aware (like the toxic people on social media you so wisely cut off) or a sense of competitiveness/fear of sharing the secret of success. Thank you for keeping real, you’ve got a new fan!

You’re so kind! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment like this :) I’m really glad you enjoyed the video and I agree with you 100%!!
I think there can also be a ‘fear’ of being judged for sharing what we do to become more attractive. Even on this video I’ve gotten some not-so-nice comments and it’s made me realize that it’s hard to ‘win’. There will always be people who think negatively of us for whatever we choose to do (or not do).
So I just believe in being honest, being ourselves, and not letting anyone else opinions bother us for it :)

This is exactly the video I was hoping for..! , thank you for sharing! You come across as such a confident and elegant woman, not to mention your model-like looks. It’s truly inspiring to hear that these qualities are something you’ve developed over time, rather than being born with them. So inspiring..!

So basically just be rich. For plastic surgery, for organic food, for a Dyson air wrap, etc.

I’m very fortunate to be able to afford these things and I do not take it for granted.
I made this video because I believe that being transparent about the impact of finances on beauty is important. That being said I don’t think it’s fair to minimize the effort it takes as well though! Working out everyday and eating very restrictively isn’t exactly *fun*.

I think apart from the pricey devices, focusing on cleaner eating should be a priority for everyone. Also exercising or keeping active is free. Both however take a lot of determination or discipline and not to expect immediate results to keep consistency. It’s a bit bizare how in the past, less fortunate families had home cooked meals and couldn’t afford fizzy drinks and all sorts of other processed treats, nowadays that wheel has turned and is more to do with the mentality than affordability.

Hey there. I noticed you didn’t mention about hair removal. Or did I miss it in the video?! I ask because as someone with PCOS I’ve struggled with feeling ugly because of hair in weird places so ive had to resort to electrolysis and laser hair removal to take care of it. Still doing laser now and considering it in other places of my body as well. Anyway, have you done anything laser hair removal in the past and if so did you think it was well worth it?

Hi good morning! (Or evening wherever you are) :)
I personally have not done professional laser hair removal - though it is on my list to do in the future for key areas (brazilian, under arm, upper lip).
Currently I just shave everywhere and wax my face and have had good luck with it.

As a STEM girl, I'd love to hear more about the style that you evolved into. I realize I am too stuck in the hoodies, comfy as they are. : )

unfollowing and removing followers is one thing i've done too. like why would i need to have my old classmates or coworkers in my followers when i'm never even gonna see those people again?
also, i've been wanting to have a nose job since i was 14 and i'm 24 now - only thing is that my parents hate the idea of me "ruining" my nose because i got it from them/their genes. i'm debating whether it's worth getting it even if it means ruining my relationship with my parents.

    • @Kaurraline
      @Kaurraline  2 месяца назад +2

The nose job is something I had always wanted as well - and I am quite happy with the choice overall. It's worth noting that it is NOT cheap, and it didn't turn out *exactly* how I wanted, but nonetheless it is still a nice improvement.
Regarding your parents, my thoughts would be that it is your body and your face. I've found life is easier when you're happy with yourself.
So will it truly "ruin" your relationship with them? Or will it cause temporary disappointment from them? How MUCH of a change would you like to make to your nose profile - and is that change worth the family tension? These are questions only you can answer :)

I mean you don't really look better now than in 2019. You have fewer hairs out of place, wear more makeup, and are less expressive but that's a very specific (curated/kardashian-ian) model of "pretty". I've only watched until the first minute which is about where you said the "I think we can all agree..." part, I just wanted to make it known that that's a presumptuous statement. The candid look works better for me tbqh

Beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder. Consider your feelings “known”. Cheers!
