I actually don't like it very much! I never have really, except for the slow, almost Gospel version he did during his '24 Nights' period, now that is SENSATIONAL! Though, Clapton is one of my all time heroes and I was there that day!! :-)

This was that strange period for EC, where his head was either totally in the Blues or totally in the Electro/Trance scene with his only breakout being 'Change The World' and he seemed to be playing the 'hits' just to get them out of the way. Still, Clapton is one of my all time heroes, and 15 year old me absolutely LOVED this day, and also getting to see Jools Holland, Alanis Morissette, The Who and Bob Dylan was sensational!!
Even my wife will yell at me so go along with her however- femininity•Zip, tats only make that 'zip minus 9' and voice?! Where? What's screaming do for us? Only J. Joplin and 2- 3 others pulled that off- WELL. BELT IT OUT- GREAT just don't distort a female- beauty tune with that wail. Screaming makes us First Responders jump in concern over injury or worse! Most male singers can't do it well either/SHAME, SHAME, SHAME by K.W.S. for mild example
